- So this is Victoria and I's Long Distance Relationship story when we met for the first time from the UK to the USA. We originally decided to film our LDR first meeting for ourselves but after some thought we have decided to show our first ever meeting!

We met online April 27th 2013 and met for the first time July 5th 2018!

I met someone on Facebook March 2010 and we quickly fell for each other.
He was in the USA and I was in England.
We spoke daily for 2 years, skyped, got to know each other's friends and family and we finally met in 2012 when I flew out there.
We had the most amazing few weeks together and I met his family and friends.
We flew back and forth every 6 months, got engaged Christmas eve 2013 and applied for my Visa.
It was time to end the distance for good!
My K1 Visa was approved in 2014 and on the 2nd January 2015, I said goodbye to my old life and moved to the USA for good to start our new life. Together.
We married 22 days later, bought our first home, had a late honeymoon that August and in May 2016, I gave birth to our incredible little girl who just turned 3!
We are now 35 years old, been married 4 1/2. I could have easily not taken a chance or followed my heart but by doing so, I found my dream come true.
We are soulmates and I truly believe we were made for each other. He is my husband, my best friend and our little family is my everything.
Love can sometimes conquer anything.

I met my long distance 'boyfriend' on november 11th 2019.
I live in Europe and he lives in Canada, I was supposed to go to Canada in april but because of the whole corona thing that didn't end up happening.
I'm now planning on going to Canada early june so that I could meet him for the first time after 7 months of talking.

I'm from England and have been speaking to Simone from America for a few weeks now but he seems like the nicest boy I have ever met. He is always saying that he would do anything to give me a hug when I have a bad day, or when I'm complaining I'm vold . Met my husband 8 years ago in a video game. He was in Bulgaria and I was in Spain. We talked every single day through Skype for 1 year. Then I went to meet him and never returned back. My boyfriend and I met online March 10, 2019 and we spoke on the phone for the first time April 1st, 2019. I live in the US and he lives in the UK. I flew to the UK for our first and second meet ups. We met in person for the first time on October 19th, 2019. Our second meet was on November 30th, 2019. He will be here in February for 8 days and I can't wait. I'm planning on trying to spend a month this coming summer with him in the UK. The distance, 4090 miles, totally sucks, but I love him more than I ever knew possible. 🇺🇸🇬🇧

I’m in the middle of long distance with my boyfriend (UK to Hong Kong) and we’ve seen each other twice in 9 months & it’s hard and upsetting sometimes but honestly when you love someone it’s just worth it. Months apart and an 11 hour flight is completely worth getting to see him even if it’s only for a week at a time

I am a US citizen, and i met my wife online 18 years ago. She is from Thailand. I remember spending 5-6 hours a day chatting online and making phone calls. Back then, we didn't have smartphones and free facetime. I remember having $500 phone bills at times. After three years and 4 trips to Thailand, I brought her to the US via fiancee visa. That gave her 3 months to visit and make a decision on marriage. We ended up marrying within the first month which allowed her to stay. We been married 15 years and still going strong. She is now a duel citizen, she transferred her college credits and ended up a registered nurse here in the USA. She has accomplished a lot. The biggest thing in a long distance relationship is Patience. The people who work these kinds of relationships out are the people who have patience in their personalities. Not just talking patience "time-wise" but more important is the patience "attitude-wise". If your purpose is a quick physical relationship...then LDR is not for you. If your purpose is to really know a person inside-out and find a life partner; then long distance shouldn't matter. Thanks for sharing the story and video! It was awesome to watch ;)

My story: I met my boyfriend online in a Facebook group June 6, 2017. I'm 23. He's 29. He lives in France. I'm in the USA in Mississippi. We've grown together, grown apart, reconnected, skyped once or twice (still working on that since I'm so afraid of skype but I'm getting better), and have been talking every day. Two chances to meet in person have somehow not worked out for one or both of us. But we are hoping to meet in April if a few other aspects work out. I often find myself watching videos like yours and getting so emotional. I feel so lucky to have him but jealous of those whose man is so much closer! But it's worth it.

this makes me so sad, my boyfriend broke up with me because of our LDR. I live in Germany and he is in Romania, and it's not even that far. I go back in my homeland like every holiday I have, but he thinks he can't give me the affection that I deserve. I think it's bullshit, I go through some problems too, like he does. I'm far away from him as he is from me and why I can do this and he not? He broke my heart cause he made me change in a not good way and now he left me cause he wants to be alone. What am I supposed to understand from this? I give my everything, and I even did things no one could have imagined just for him to let me in the end lol

I know this isn’t a place to share our life stories but I’m still in wrecked. This was so cute, haven’t seen this channel until now but this video was relatable to me so much. I’m glad you two manage to see each other after 5 years. Wow. My relationship of 6000km wasn’t able to even reach the one year mark. I don’t know how you two manage it for that long. But I’m happy for you two, I just miss her still. We broke of understanding the ldr was to much and now I feel lost. But it’s great to see other people be happy and sharing my story is some what relieving.

I relate so much to this. I’m in London and the love of my life is in Tennessee. We met for the first time in June 2018 and are currently planning our third trip. Every moment we get together is magic. I can’t wait until the day we don’t have to say goodbye at the airport.

Same with my now fiance. He is from Glasgow and I'm from Alabama. We met through a mutual friend. His best friend in Glasgow. We started dating last year and got engaged on New Year this year. I went to visit him for 3 weeks in Glasgow and he is visiting this summer. I can't wait to get married and move. He makes me so happy! 🥰😍

Me and my boyfriend are in a ldr and we video chat ever day. We have only been together for almost 7 months. We were trying to meet today actually on april 2nd but with he virus we sadly couldn't but we still plan on it very soon. Seeing you guys gives me hope to push on no matter what 😊
