So proud of you for following your heart. Going from small town, never being on a plane; to flying across the world for the one you love is amazing. It shows the Godly man you are, the man you mom & dad have raised. Knowing life has thrown some hard balls your way a time or two but you have always kept stepping back up to the plate and have now hit this one out of the park. Proud of you from PCounty
26 years ago I flew across the US to be with the man I married. He passed away 6 years ago but I am still here in the same place. I remember the flights and the butterflies and excitement that day and evening to finally meet him. He was standing there with two white roses and a red rose. At his funeral I said, “ the first time I ever laid eyes on you, you was holding two white roses and a red rose. Today, the last time I see you, I give you two white roses and a red rose”. I pray and hope your love grows and brings you two together as it did me and my husband.
Dude I hope you understand how amazing your parents are. If I did something like this my parents would call me insane and ignore every second of it. I hope more parents are like this in the future.
My husband and I met through a singles magazine. We wrote a year before we met in person when he came home on leave from the Army. We had one day long date. We wrote another year and when he came home we got married and have been married 39 years.
"Seriously, you've no idea how proud i am of you, and i would absolutely have done the same thing if i were you" this almost made me cry, I've been wanting to study abroad in China for 4 years but my mum is not very supportive so I'm doing all the paperwork by myself, hearing this really makes me happy
This made me cry. I’m from Boston USA and my gf is from Rome Italy. I felt this video on every level.
In 2015, this was me (25) and my husband(27) in LDR - Filipina & American. Fast forward to 2023, we have now a 6-year-old daughter and the youngest is 7 months little man. Sending well wishes to you both and stay in love. 💕
I’ve known her since 2015… we aren’t in a LDR but, we’ve loved eachother since the very beginning. Always made plans to be with eachother. I’m finally at a point where I am so much better off financially, and I am hoping that I can meet her soon. My palms get sweaty, my heart starts racing, my body feels heavy when I think about that moment I finally get to see her and hold her. Holy shit.
Just clicked on this video in error but I'm so glad I did. You've completely lifted my day. I'm an tough old boot but I nearly had a tear in my eye. Wishing you a long, happy & loving life together.
This made me smile all the way through, what a heartfelt experience, including your first flight ever; many years ago I met my husband on a flight to Atlanta from Kentucky, a continuous journey that started from London UK. I'm English and my husband is American. So, we ended up having a long distance relationship from that meeting on a very small plane. It took us a couple of years before we could finally unite for good. They say long distance relationships never work - I say love conquers all and I wish you both so much happiness and good times ahead. At your age life is an adventure and exciting- enjoy it to the full while you can!
Congratulations to both of you! Me and Partner also meet in person for the first time before after 3years in our relationship, now we are married.😊❤
Wowow that is brave! First time flying and doing it alone 😮 great that you took the chance and dared 🤗
This is a very inspiring video as I am also in a long distance with my boyfriend. I'm from New Zealand and he's in Australia. The distance is definitely not as significant, however; I still do plan on meeting him one day. Many say long distance relationships never work out but you definitely gave me more hope and faith. Hoping the best for you and your girlfriend!
3 Years of long distance is crazy, your both mental strength is amazing, im sure nothing will tear you guys apart from now on, a relationship that has gone through that is truly unbreakable and worth fighting for
I couldn’t hold back my tears… I have a LDR he’s in Canada I’m in the states over 2,000miles apart. Once you feel your soulmate in your arms it’s everything and I love every moment of it❤️💕
I love how supportive your parents is to you. I hope I will be the same as your parents and not be selfish! ❤️
I can relate to this video. Me and my husband has been in LDR for 3 years before meeting for the first time. It takes a lot of effort and time to make it happen❤ God bless you both❤
I hope you guys can get married 💕 marriage is a beautiful thing it's a pact of love that you make with your right partner
Filipino r the best person to have family with im glad u met someone special
Congratulations to both of you, I hope everything works out wonderfully for you both. LDRs are tough, but the basis for a great relationship. I was in one, she was 2000 miles away in a very different country. We are now living together 14 years in our own home in her country. It was hard at times, but with the love we built up and the real friendship we made all those years ago, our life together is fantastic.
