    It's nice for someone on a budget. But it looks like the client in this video would have had no problem putting up the cash for another Sunbrite tv for the ease of use. Not having to remove a cover to use it.

    Hey guys nice product.
    Are those speakers wireless?
    Can the cabinet be mounted upside down? My cable and power outlet are located in my lanai ceiling and noticed the cabinet cable hole was in the bottom. Thanks!

    Awesome video guys. If I was mounting this to a standard outdoor stucco wall, would I just look for the studs and go from there? What kind of screws for that application?

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  Před rokem +1

      Thanks buddy. Yeah, you can go to the interior wall and use a standard stud finder. That will help you get a rough idea of where the studs are located. Take some precise measurements to try to make sure you’re in the right vicinity when heading out doors. Use a concrete drill bit to drill through the stucco and brown coat until you access the plywood/sheathing. You want to make sure that your bolts are actually hitting studs and not just the sheathing itself. Use an outdoor rated bolt with a large T 30 head. There’s a brand that makes them called spax at Home Depot. You could also use fender washers and decking screws. If you can’t find a stud, use a sheet rock anchor. The proper anchor is called a toggle bolt drywall anchor. You can find them at Lowe’s or Home Depot. It’s a metal on metal contraption. You would drill the appropriate size hole as indicated on the anchor, slide the anchor in and behind the sheathing and that would create an extremely strong hold. Let us know if you have any questions

    Are the outdoor TVs worth the price? I am looking to put a TV on my media wall under my pergola, and reading some of the reviews on the Samsung Terrace where it's still getting water damage has me second guessing the reliability of their build quality. I've been considering getting a cheaper TV with an enclosure, but I know picture quality will be lacking due to the brightness. I am willing to spend the money if I am assured that the outdoor TVs can actually handle the elements.

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  Před 2 lety +2

      We have actually had pretty good luck with the Samsung Terrace. No issues so far. Of course there could be manufacturing flaws in some small percentage of any electronic device. Yeah, the benefit is that it is significantly brighter than a standard TV so it can be used in the middle of the day. Most regular TVs were literally just wash out. You could use something like a Samsung Q led but that gets a bit expensive. If you get a decent TV with a nit count and put it in a box like this that can work as well. Feel free to shoot us an email and we can get you a quote on a few options. Divineavinc@gmail

    Very informative for a DIY. What is your take on a Hisense 55 ULED 55 U7G series with 120 refresh rate. Would a 60 hz work outdoors in full sun? Can I hang my TV onto my soffit? An electrician suggested attaching TV mount onto soffit.

    You didn't leave the information on the anchors used. Did you also use anchors on the 4 corners or just the 4 centers? And are they all the same size anchors?

      And technically you only knew the for centers but if you want it to be a little bit more solid to the wall you could do the corners as well. You could use these anchors if it’s brick but if it’s on wooden stud, you could use some thing like a spax T30 3” bolt from Home Depot.

    I don’t like Sonos stuff. My buddy spent 20k on his Sonos full home audio and I put 3k in my Yamaha. He has all these problems trying to get his playing in multiple rooms. I showed him mine and all he said was “I got screwed”

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah Yamaha music cast can pretty much accomplish the same thing as Sonos but we have seen some pretty amazing reliability with Sonos over the years. Sonos nearly flawlessly integrates with Savant. But with that said, Sonos and Yamaha have been out of stock for about a year LOL. We’ve had nothing to sell

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah that works too but you really have to take some time on it to make sure that it’s perfectly waterproof. We had a customer who is very good at work working build one of them but it still leaked. I would recommend rhino coating the outer surface of the box if you build one. Time is money but if it’s a project in your spare time, that could be fun

    • @alwayson7229
      @alwayson7229 Před 4 lety +2

      Divine AV Home Theater I have the 75”q70r, most people are buying Walmart 55”, for a piece of plastic on Amazon it’s not worth it. Nice video but the product is crazy priced

    • @DivineAV
      @DivineAV  Před 4 lety +4

      @@alwayson7229 yeah, the box is definitely a bit overpriced but it is pretty well engineered. A low-quality Walmart TV has a very low nit count. That's your brightness rating. The Samsung Q70R is nearly double that brightness output. We need a lot of brightness for an outdoor TV. The combination of the q70r and the enclosure is still significantly less money than the other sunbrite that the client has.
