I just got a TX-RZ50. Talk about high end audio without all the separate boxes.
One of the best and most straightforward demo I've seen on two good models. Thanks for sharing this!
This theater room is absolutely gorgeous! Finally someone got it right. It actually looks like a 4DX theater. Love the industrial look. Would you guys ever think of converting it into 4DX?
Thank you so much! That's very nice of you. We actually just did a ton of changes to it. it now has a Trinnov altitude 16 with waveforming, 10 18” subs, black columns with LEDs, acoustic clouds overhead, MadVR, and Kaleidescape. We will do an update soon. Definitely would consider 4DX
@@DivineAV oh man Cant wait to see it ! 🙌🏾
Is it possible some of the blurriness of the Epson was due to the fact that it was paused? Idk if that also pauses the pixel shifting?
Yes, a bit. But they also enhanced clarity in a software update. Pretty good now
I know yo guys are busy just waiting on home theater demo/tour/install video. Thanks
There isn’t a massive difference between these two subs. The spl made more than rated rms while the 1200 made less that stated rms. The spl meter showed the spl 120 was louder which is why you probably cut the vid short. The only thing I gleaned from this is that the spl-120 is still a viable option if you are looking for a Klipsch sub.
No chance at all for the Sony
Excellent video video informative and good
I run 3 klipsch RP-280FA L R C my center tower. I lay horizontal!!
Is there a horizontal masking system for CinemaScope?
The 504 is more refined than the RC64. Sounds like the crossover is higher on the 504, so slightly less mids coming through the horn. Having said that, there’s more clarity and energy in the 64 - especially on the vocals. And still refined enough to not sound too harsh. It would be a hard choice. I noticed this previously when comparing the old RC or RB line with the newer RP series. Something can possibly be missing when it comes to excitement. Both are forward heavy on the mids and treble, but I like the RC and RB series for some reason. Maybe not as clinical but the clarity on them is out of this world. Especially the second and third generation. Probably can find them way cheaper now too.
Wow… the music is horrible and ruins your video. A pox on the cheap-ass catalog writer who shat that out, and you for smearing it all over your running time.
The 1200 is $800 The SPL-120 is $400. I think 2 SPL-120 will sound better than one 1200.
Hello! Can you tell me the maximum distance throws on these two projectors? We are replacing a DLP projector in a church. The distance from the projector to the screen is 60 ft. (18.28 m). The image size is 14 fl. (4.2672 m) in a high ambient environment.
They aren’t bright enough for those specs. I’d recommend a commercial projector with 8000 plus lumens. An ALR screen would be nice. Feel free to reach out. We will help you get the best unit and pricing. Warren Divine Audio Visual Divineavinc@gmail.com

Hey guys great video! I’m curious of your opinion on how the RP-500c II compares to like the 504. I’d love to see a comparison I can’t seem to find any comparison videos anywhere!
Thanks! We will try to see if if we can make some time to do that video. The 504 has a bit fuller mid range. Other than that they sound pretty similar.
Thanks for the quick response! In your opinion which would be better paired with RP-5000f IIs? Would the 504 overpower or would the 500 be too little? Thanks!
@@champion68 the bigger the better. Keep in mind that a speaker is a speaker so the 5000 is huge even when compared to the 504 C. The ideal set up would be three of the same tower speaker, but that’s usually not very practical. Feel free to reach out whenever you’re ready. We have free shipping and can help you with anything you need. Thanks buddy Divineavinc@gmail.com
Nice compare, many thanks
Don't throw it away! Can I buy the amp plate from the spl-120 off of you? I live in Van Alstyne, TX.
Mine failed. This was a bit of an issue on those particular subs. We generally recommend running that one at around 50% capacity. It tends to live in that range. Klipsch is one of the best companies out there for warranty claims. Reach out to the dealer that you bought it from and have them put in a claim. Sometimes they will take care of it out of warranty if it’s a decent size Klipsch dealer. You can also just modify it and use something like a crown or other amplifier that puts out more power. Drill a hole in the back of it and then silicone it after you make the connections
Forgot to mention, the click-bait title is quite unbecoming- “I threw away my subwoofer…”💩
I didn’t tell you to throw away yours. I’m just serious, I actually threw away my Subwoofer. I put it on the curb. It was rather old lol.
Can’t be 100% sure, but the amplifier looks to be identical to that found in the SPL-150, the measurements help n confirming this. The SPL-100/120/150 all share identical PS/Amp PCBs (all three are marked on the board). They just stuff them differently to achieve the rated power per application. Great class D’s- IRS2092 based if I recall correctly 😎 So, same(ish) amp, and larger box. Only real advantage imo is the reduced port chuff. Not at all digging the increase in size/weight for a few hz lower extension/small spl increase. The older models look like even more of a bargain after watching your video. Thanks for the data point🤙
Yeah, the old subs are really good if you can find a good deal on them. But I can say the amp is definitely different and improved because we had a ton of issues with the previous model. Now Klipsch is amazing and they took care of every single one of them in warranty or not. But the new ones have been absolutely rock solid. And the chuffing reduction is a huge improvement. Thanks for taking the time to comment, great thoughts
404c only die to size limitations!
Sorry guys these subs are not for me. I do not mean they are horrible they are not but, I still take SVS above them across the board. I can cup SVS should I choose to do so for different room placement, I also feel SVS has more features than these by far and definitely better suit my uses on any of my systems.
That's Sic! But its so slowww. By the time it fully extends its Time to Upgrade the TVs out of date & no longer the newest model. 😂😂😂
lol. We can speed it up a little bit, but yeah, it’s a little on the slower side to ensure safety.
I have the sony, it's incredible, don't let the bulb put you off. it's got less blue light than the lazer
The Epson is actually quite a bit brighter than the Epson, so what gives? The MWAVE comparisons side by side did not make the Epson looked so dim and they were both calibrated too. Epson is rated at 2700 lumens. Sony at 2000 lumens. Yet Sony looks way brighter than the Epson in this side by side?
These units were both to 75% laser output. If you turn them up to 100% Epson is slightly brighter. Also with software updates, it’s significantly sharper now. Stay tuned to the channel because we have another Epson video coming out very soon. Thanks for watching.
When is the new Epson video coming out?
Nice
Was the Epson updated with the firmware, that massively improved the pixel shifting?
It was running the current software at the time of the video. It’s possible that the software came out shortly after that. We’ve sold a bunch of them and I can tell you that they are great projectors. The Sony is definitely a bit sharper, but the feature set on the Epson is unparalleled. Especially with our curved screens, the geometry correction is fantastic. Thanks for watching.
So in the prewired part. How do you install the speaker. Wouldn’t the stud get in the way of the speaker clap? The clamps on the speaker are supposed to grab on to drywall right? How do we get around the side that is next to stud?
Drill a very small pilot hole through the clip and run a screw straight into the stud. Very simple procedure and doesn’t damage the clip. Thanks for watching.
Damn just blew my computer speakers.
May I please ask what subs do you guy's have thanks in advance..😊
I want a RC-64iii, but I have it's little brother the RC-62ii I love it! Have you guy's ever heard one? I got my RC-62ii for $350 in 2015. Is the RC-64iii ported? My RC-62ii has 2 front ports. It delivers pretty impressive bass for a center channel speaker.
Would the JVC be adequate for a 170'', 2.4:1, AT screen at 20' away
Hey my friend, thanks for watching. The Jvc will most likely throw the image, but I wouldn’t expect more than about 150 nits with that combination. I’d recommend a brighter projector. if you’d like us to consult with you, send us an email and we can do some calculations to advise on the best set up. We also provide the best pricing. Thank you very much. Divineavinc@gmail.com
JVC ❤️
Guys, I’m currently rocking a baby set up but want to expand and build up. I am GREEN, very new at this and have little knowledge. I have a Sony STR DH-590 and 2 KEF Q350 Bookshelf speakers paired with a Klipsch R-100SW. I was going to add a couple KEF Q series floor speakers - probably the 6.5”. I found the RP-1400 on a massive discount and am debating on pulling the trigger. Would I need a new receiver to run that?
Hey buddy, thanks for reaching out. You have to start somewhere. KEF makes good stuff. 1400 is a massive box. Do you have space for it? It is a great sub but we would want to analyze the space and ensure it's the correct choice. Are you in the states, if so, we match all authorized dealers and can give you proper advice on the space. Let me know. Thanks
@@DivineAV it’s definitely a beefy sucker, that’s why I thought it might be overkill but I wasn’t sure. It was going to be in my living room, which is 14’ deep (couch wall to tv wall) x 16’ wide with 16-20 vaulted ceilings. Unfortunately one entire wall is made of windows which isn’t the most desirable, it’s on the opposite side of the room from the tv and current speakers . I am in the states though - Ahwatukee, Arizona.
TURN DOWN 4 WATTS 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥💪💪🗿🗿💯💯🙏😭😭
very nice
Hello! how are they? I have a 16 m2 living room and an integrated amplifier, I want to watch movies, CDs, streaming music. What combination do you recommend for the living room? Klipsch rp600 mkii or Klipsch rp500 mkii with a subwoofer? I saw several and I would like your recommendation if you don't mind and you are so kind . Klipsch RP-1000SW, Klipsch SPL-100 or Klipsch R-100SW? a cordial greeting from Argentina!
hey my friend, thank you very much for reaching out. For your room, I would definitely recommend the RP 600s and 1000 SW. If budget constraints, the SPL 100 or 120 can be found at some sources. their performance is still very good but I recommend running them at around 50% gain otherwise you could experience some long-term amplification failure. The 1000sw has a five-year warranty instead of two and is a more reliable unit plus doesn’t suffer from chuffing noise. RP 500 is a bit small for the space. Thank you so much for your support!
@@DivineAVThank you very kind!
I dont have enough place for RP-1000SW, will SPL-120 be good enough to pair with RP-6000F II?
JVC
I’m curious why they put dipoles on the rear wall rather than the side walls? It’s just not typical, and I would like to hear Klipsch’s reasoning.
Cornering out dipoles is kind of a trick that is used when the seats are too close to the back wall, but that room has changed now. We deleted the back row and added Klipsch Rf7iii as rears. Dual 18s in the back and 8 18s in the front. Trinnov Waveforming. It’s on another level. We will do an update soon. thanks for watching buddy
Welp, I'm sold. Can you get one to Canada?
I’m telling you guys at Klipsch. I have the tall towers/wall speakers/and only one big sub. totally kicks ass. We have a Huge man, cave basement, and the subwoofer is actually turned down. Perfection. Running everything off a Dennon receiver, and leftover
Definitive, rears leftovers
Horn loaded drivers are hard to beat! Our Klipsch showroom would blow your mind! Rock on!
What kinda of amp and receiver you using bro
The comparison should use factory default settings, not the calibration, or use best calibration setting in each one. I think the videos shows Sony better is the calibration problems, making JVC worse. JVC color is way too saturated at that particular calibration setting while Sony looks more natural in that particular setting. In the same calibration setting eg 50, Sony is much better, but if the setting all set to 80, JVC may looks far better. So, you should use different settings that gives best pictures for each projector and compare best pictures, or just use the factory default setting for comparison.
thanks for your comments, very minor adjustments were made to the projectors, but I agree, we will try and do another video with fully calibrated units. We’ve had many comments asking for the same.
But did you use super resolution on the Epson? It's quite interesting
Yes, keep in mind that the Epson firmware update made it a bit sharper. We will do an updated and calibrated video
Best comparison video I saw
Amazon has the 120 at $399 now... my thought is to wait to get a refurbished 1200 when they come up
We sometimes have open box as well. People try out the 1200 and move to a 14 or 16 Divineavinc@gmail.com
@@DivineAVare these people thinking the RP-1200SW "weak", then they move to 14 or 16?
Looking at a refurbished 1200
The 1400 was just $699 at Adorama.
