In this episode, we begin installing the siding on our home, extend the rafters in the interior, and the off grid flasher strikes again...
The infamous off grid flasher...omg I'm dead. I hope you both realize that so many of us are in love with the love you have.... It's ok to adult but never let go of your funny inner kid. God bless your family

At 71 I still get a thrill when I see young folks working hard for something they want to call their own! Great job! I built my house 36 years ago and a pecan processing barn. Raised 30+ horses. Still working hard building an addition to the barn. May the Lord of creation bless you, keep you and protect you. May he look upon you as a good father looks on his children, and may he give you his grace and peace.

I get choked up every time i hear the music to indicate your getting ready to sign off ....and then i see the EVERGREEN containers and other pictures etc. it's so amazing to see where/when you started and now where you are in your journey in life TOGETHER . Your project is so inspiring. Here’s an idea for your kitchen. The perfect kitchen island for a small space is a Rolling tool cabinet, I have one in my kitchen, wow, I love it. I got mine at Home Depot, it has two rows of drawers, 10 drawers in all. The lower drawers are deep so I put my pans and glass casserole dishes in them. They hold tons of heavy kitchen items and the drawers roll smoothly out and in. I keep all our cooking utensils, cutlery and knives in the top drawers. The cabinet has an electrical outlet at one end, so put an electric floor plug in the floor and then plug in your cabinet. The best thing about this Island is that I can roll it to other locations to open up space for company or to modify my kitchen for projects like canning or sewing, etc. The wood top could be covered with a wider counter to create a bar, or just to enlarge the work area, I kept mine as is because my kitchen is too narrow for a regular cabinet style Island. If I ever built a tiny house, I would even use Metal Tool cabinets for lower kitchen cabinets, they give more drawers than kitchen cabinet do and they are space saving, but they are a great idea for Kitchen Islands.
Research 'Images for tool cabinet kitchen island' and you'll see how great this idea is.

II’d like Spencer to know that a man with a good sense of humor is wonderful! My Dad was more constantly funny, although Mom was a genius stealth wit. They are both in Heaven now, but it’s their love and humor that made our home happy, even through some terrible circumstances sometimes. I love them so dearly, miss them so sorely, and think of them every single day. The humor really boosts your spirits (and ours), and Beau (and any other children 😉) will adore you and be so glad she is yours!

With the reopening of Ohio, my county has seen an alarming rise in COVID cases. So I stayed home. No fireworks for me. Watching your fireworks was more fun than anything done around here. The siding looks great. I’m impressed by how good Spenser is at cutting notches with a circular saw! Well done. 💕
Seeing as the numbers are extremely inflated and all strains of Covid are being tested for including the common cold as said so by the CDC website and being passed off as Covid 19. Its pretty sad to see people truly not living their lives because they are being told lies by the media and not looking for the facts which are basically hidden to your average person who wont look for it.

I am so proud of you three. 100 years ago my wonderful grandpa built a garage on a lot down the street from his mothers where he, grandma and my mom lived while he built the house. That was my home away from home. I loved it so much. It has been sold several times so my memories are even more important to me. You have inspired me to ask my fiancé if we can build a container home instead of buying a house. You work together, play together and I can’t wait til you start inside. I am 65 and he is 59. Figs are inclosed flowers, and a species of wasp goes inside of them and lays her eggs and dies. The fig's white liquid dissolves the wasp, so almost every time you eat a fig, you're eating wasp juice...YUM! 😋The house is looking great, y'all! 👍🏻 'Merica!

If you put the blackberry's on a foil dish and spread them out and put in a freezer the bugs will com out and also you can put the berries in a freezer bag and save for a later date.
I love your channel! My only concern is how you installed the siding, a finish nail isn't the recommended fastener for installing fiber cement board. The nail head needs to be flush with the surface of the siding. They made siding nails designed for this application. Please, I don't mean this as criticism just a friendly heads up. The end result looks great. I could have never imagined your home would look this great when I first saw the shipping containers. I also don't have much imagination. I enjoy your channel very much and keep up the great work. Thank you again for the relief you two provide in these weird times.
