Most Alters have Evil alignments due to the inverted nature however Artoria Lancer Alter is Lawful Good and Okita Alter is True Neutral on thier alignments are the only exceptions so far.

I find these two Alters interesting because of their differences. Artoria Alter being the 'normal' kind of alter. And then Jalter being an impossible existence because the original Jeanne couldn't have an alternative side. And yet they have a remarkable amount of hilarious chemistry and interactions as you showed with the video. They just keep on crossing paths in various events. I'm glad they did get to team up for this Shinjuku story since it was purely hilarious to watch. Maybe it is their very differing qualities that keeps them coming back at each other. The alternate side of a legendary English King vs an impossible alter of a French peasant. A more confident self-aware alter in Atoria against a sometimes (and more often as the story goes back to her) tsundere Jeanne Alter. They do certainly have a lot of reasons to clash. We can thank Artoria Alter for giving Jeanne Alter the kick in the rear she needed during the Christmas event to rise up as an Avenger class servant. And I do also like that while they both have the potential and leanings towards evil, both of them can be effective forces for good. It just comes down to who ends up influencing them along the way.

Jalter has saven my team so many freaking times! May whatever she believes in (violence? lets' go with violence!) graces her unholly existance! For real, she beated Goetia, Solomon, and as of late Moriarty when I was out of servants and command seals, she is one heck of a triumph card.
Imagine for a moment if you will, a possibility that the hypothetical last adaption we get of Fate from ufotable being Arturia's only moment of happiness as her elimination by her own master....that's unacceptable
I had a fascination for all things Jeanne d'arc long before I found Fate so Jeanne is eternal best girl for me. The Orleans chapter of FGO is the best storytelling in the game so far. It's the only part that could really work as a novella or short story with no illustrations. It's that strong thematically. Great choice for a lore vid.
Oh yes the altar babes. Was exceedingly happy when I got jalter and Salter herself is just a classic. Definitely enjoyed both of their Christmas Adventures and jalter is a cute tsundere and Jeanne is a pure sister to her jalter counterpart.
Jeanne is actually funny as hell. She inherited her normal versions awkwardness, she just tries to hide it with aggression. But her getting jealous of arturia is pricessless

Pretty much a kingdom of peace. Artoria alter is a lot like Kiritsugu in this aspect, they both seek to achive peace through extreme methods. They might've even get along if she was summoned instead of the normal Artoria.

I know I'm late with the comment but I just want to throw out that it was thanks to the Shinjuku chapter that made me appreciate these characters a lot more than I had previously, especially with Saber Alter. I still look forward to the day that ill summon them both.
Goes from hating Fujimaru at initial summon, to developing a tsunderi persona about a month post summon, to her tsunderi persona greatly softened during the Shinjuku pseudo singularity, to fully accepting Fujimaru during the High School minute singularity event. Both caster and saber Gilles are representations of his actual personality at different stages of his life (as with Liz+Carmilla, Medea Lily+Medea). Except for MHXA, Alter seem to be more of a "what-if" kind of thing, overwriting a good servant with an evil form that never actually existed, but with foundations in the servant's psyche.
Alter X: ...everything beings with Alters and ends with Alters. And once you start down the Alter path, forever will it dominate your destiny. So does that mean that once you have gotten your first Alter, more and more Alters will soon follow?

Emiya Alter because he is the differs from his OG counterpart in that he catually accepts his role as counter guardian and fully embraces his once hates ideals that once forced him to plan and attempt to kill his younger self, Shirou Emiya. Salter because she is basically OG Saber but fully embracing her ideals. She no longer holds back and no longer cares what others think of her. She just cares about maintaing order no matter the cost. The ends justify the means for her. Alter seem to be like this. They all have the running theme of *_"fully embracing"_* something about themselves. Where it be Jalter embracing her hatred and vengeance. Thus, I believe that Medea and Angra Mainyu would probably fully embrace the darkest part of them selves as well. That or we would end up with the LANCER ALTER and Okita Alter scenario. Their alignments could switch to lawful-good or chaotic-good or lawful/chaotic-neutral. They could become Alters that despise the darkest part of themselves and instead embrace the good part of them but due to being Alters, their methods could still be considered dark. Alas, this is all speculation and conjecture. Can't wait for them to become Alters. And I'm curious to see what Gil Alter would be like. Since up to this day, some of the servants who've been touched by the grail mud in Heaven's Feel all become Alters. We're only missing the Regend, Medea, and Hercules Alter. Not sure about Medusa though, since she never got touched by the grail mud iirc...
If you think Jeanne Alter has friction with Artoria Alter, just imagine a Blackened Astolfo. Alterstolfo-Jalter fights would make the latter's quarrels with Salter look like polite conversation. I'd expect yelling and cursing, all-out brawls, and even hatesex-a _lot_ of hatesex.
I had a dream once that all the alters had a fight with their regular counter parts and the alters won but Salter did not like Jalter because of the 100 year war between France and England so all the alters had to pick sides and i forgot who won but it was epic make his cannon

If you think Jeanne Alter has friction with Artoria Alter, just imagine a Blackened Astolfo. Alterstolfo-Jalter fights would make the latter's quarrels with Salter look like polite conversation. I'd expect yelling and cursing, all-out brawls, and even hatesex-a _lot_ of hatesex.

I had a dream once that all the alters had a fight with their regular counter parts and the alters won but Salter did not like Jalter because of the 100 year war between France and England so all the alters had to pick sides and i forgot who won but it was epic make his cannon
I really hope there will be another main fate series starring these two together
