one of my favourite music reviews ever for Yves latest record: "I'm totally fine with rock music being dead if it means we can loot it's corpse for gems like this"
Love the quote. rock is actually making a comeback. the biggest genre right now, hiphop, is slowly incorporating a lot of guitar riffs into production and also travis' next album is going in that direction too which will only amplify it
The lovely thing is, Rock music was always like this. Bowie, Iggy, they have always been like this; Breaking the tradition. Rock music never died, they just reincarnated again and again.
bro yves tumor and its band are literally one of the greatest live acts of the modern age. true fucking glam and punk rockers. so glad i got to see them live and next time they are in ur town, PLEASE go see them. also wtf it makes me so happy to see them keep growing. well deserved.
I like Yves Tumor a lot, but the live show is really underwhelming. The whole thing is drenched in playback, the guest vocalists are all playback (e.g. Kerosene, which is basically a duet... why not just have another member of the band do it?), sample based parts aren't played or remixed. Just feels really uncreative, unlike the songs themselves
I love it when the crowd showing their excitement even tho maybe the artist is new to them or they don't know the song/lyrics. I believe that also gives extra energy for the artists to perform their best.
Omg this performance made my day 😂😂😂❤ the guards just being a prop for Yves 😂 and at the end the bald guard looking off at them in the crowd like a protective father realizing he has no control and just giving up but still internally trying 😂😂😂😂😅😅😭😭 too good
if I had a £ for every time they said 'uh-huh' in this video... jokes aside, Yves will blow up this year when they drop their new album, I'm calling it.
certainly is, the most famed festival around. The organisers are often giving a big stage to more preformers which are interesting and exciting, rather than widely known and currently popular. It's lot more than just the music too.
Security guy: “Geez, I’m getting paid $1.73 an hour to keep this crazy almost-naked millionaire from being dragged into the crowd. What did I do wrong in life!”
@@Confusedn1NJA honestly I did not put this comment there someone had to hack my page. I’m sorry u think it was me but I didn’t do this I don’t comment if I do not nothing nice to say
@@Tremuoso You can all him effeminate all you want but as if you'd have the balls to say that to his face, lol. Your gut-feeling reaction to him says a lot more about your comfort with your masculinity that it says about him.
There's something so disgustingly privileged in the way he treats that (most definitely underpaid) security guy as essentially a piece of furniture. Really the epitome of everything's that wrong about western civilization, a famous, rich musician whining about how tough life is while spitting on people who have much less privilege than them.
Nightmare for the sound tech, nightmare for the camera crew and absolute worst nightmare for security. Pretty sh*t deal for anyone who wasn't in the front 3 rows. More of an incident than a performance.

I laughed at this performance. So funny hugging the older security guy. What a hoot!.
And the security dude was a great sport about it. I imagine many might not be up for the antics haha
🤣🤣🤣🥰
He got jealous when the other security guard was getting attention
Yeah, half my interest in this video is just watching the security guys.
I cackled :)

Saw Yves with NIN a few weeks back. Deserves this crowd. What a set.
Yves and the band are always so fun, raw, and fresh to watch 🤍🖤
The two dudes handling him deserve a raise
There is no artist like Yves Tumor. None.
Yves Is one of the greatest musicians and performers of the modern age and they are so unknown it’s just crazy that more people don’t know of them

Reminds me- saw Charo 2024. She went up into auditorium, squeezed into 5 different rows randomly. Shaking hands & posing for pics as she sang.
