- I find that ultimate relaxation and focus can come from relaxing hot tub sounds (jacuzzi sounds). This special track has a deep, predictable and calming white noise at its core. You can hear the thunderous (but muffled) roar of the spa jets. If you listen carefully, you'll hear hurricane storm sounds outside, rising and falling, strong but calming. This is a calm, relaxing place, where our imagination and our desire to find peaceful serenity matters most. We call this one the Storm Chaser's Melody, a sleep melody for those who are a bit restless and draw comfort from mother natures most powerful weather. I've often wondered why we find water sounds relaxing, or storm sounds soothing. Storm sounds in particular are curious. Why are some of us relaxed by the sound of storms? These are powerful and even sometimes dangerous events, and yet we like to listen to relaxing storm sounds to fall asleep fast. My theory is that storm sounds likely often brought fresh water, irrigation and beautiful sounds to our ancestors. Perhaps we've evolved to like storms. Perhaps we associate them with huddling in a comfy, warm, and safe environment.Maybe we know that storms can bring life, that they serve a primal purpose in our existence as humans.
There are many different types of noise out there. White noise, pink noise, brown noise, etc. Many of these can have calming or relaxing effects on those that listen to them. That's why so many people seek our calming white noise to calm anxiety or trigger sleep. Some of us even play tracks like this while we work or do chores around the house.
