Cool, i have received a warranty about that issue i have 2018 x3m40 stage 2 mhd with 43k on it only drive on weekends, may just get it replaced before waiting for it to go out.
Yeah I don’t even know that this is part of the regular maintenance until this happened to me. If you do get a replacement and ever change it yourself, I’d look for one that comes with a metal cap for the diaphragm. I guess when removing the OEM cap it tends to break the plastic. So a metal replacement will make sure that doesn’t happen in the future.

How does it drive in snow? We hardly get any where i live, so I'm just curious
It’s awesome in snow! I’ve gone through 3 Idaho winters with it now and never had an issue. The x-drive system works great
I would like to see you gift the car to your oldest brother....😂
You can just the kit that comes with a new diaphragm and new plastic cap. Way cheaper than the metal cap kit.
That’s the kit I did order. Cost $20!
Pretty sure the PCV valve is covered under warranty as it's a known issue. BMW will fix this for free.

Oh I’m wayyy past my warranty period haha. The car has 133k miles on it! It wasn’t too hard to fix myself and cost $20. Video coming soon about that!
