I don't like many comedians...but Russel is AMAZING. Honestly brilliant. Please watch more...esp when he doesn't have to curb the swearing. I love his rants he does on FB, CZcams ect...
Russel Kane, for me is one of, if not, the most underrated comedians currently in the UK. You should definitely do some more on him.

Drop a glass in a pub in the UK and it's usually something like "big hand for the juggler!" followed by applause.
Oh we just love it when things go pear-shaped! From dropped goods to TV studio cameras going AWOL (uncommanded movements off in any direction)
You should give this guy a couple more shots - really funny. There are a lot of really good commedians who are probably too good to be regulars on tv/ panel shows etc. so you have to search them out a bit more. Kane's commedy tends to progress with the stage of life he is at, so his younger stuff is a bit different. He is married with kids now but he was pretty crazy prior to that. I like him because he is unpredictable. There was a morbid element to this show but unsually his shows are a lot of fun in general. I'd love to see Queen Boomer's reaction to his other stuff too. Usually a lot of commedians from the UK have a regional element to the things they talk about and the way they describe them, so understanding this often helps for context, as you will get more of the jokes and the lingo. I say this as an Australian with a decent amount of exposure via friends, media etc. For instance, Kane is from the East End/ Essex, so a lot of his stuff has a strong cockney vibe.
More Russell Kane please KB, believe me when I say almost every British person can identify with what he say's .

He's high energy, similar to Lee Evans. But where I find Lee Evans cartoonist and slapstick - I find Russel Kane frequently insightful and witty.
Worth checking out stuff from 'Smokescreens & Castles'. Some of its really quite poignant. He can be a bit like a stand-up version of Blackadder. A master of distracting you with silliness and farce until he strips it gently away to reveal something far more serious underneath.
One of his other Live at the Apollo routines was on tv about an hour ago, think it was his first appearance, hosted by Sarah Millican. That was a good one, think it explained his background more and gave a bit more context.

Regarding your audio blowing out occasionally; you can download an audio compressor app. It essentially makes the quiet bits louder and the loud bits quieter to make it easier to regulate your volume and prevent blow outs and clipping. I don't know if you're using OBS, but there's a downloadable plugin for that.
I use streamlabs for streaming only but I put a gate and a compressor on that. But now I’ll look for a compressor app for the reaction vids. Thanks!

I think it used to be fun banter in the UK to laugh at others misfortune, but in a good natured way. Now though people do it with spite, record it and post it online. They couldn't give a fuck, the so called (British character) has all but long gone in the UK.

This wasn’t a great routine, Live at the Apollo airs on free tv so it’s not the best routines these guys do. I saw Russell Kane live and thought he was brilliant. This routine was not a good representation, as are a few of the Apollo acts. Watered and dulled down for the BBC perhaps?
Yeah I don't really get Russell kane so much, if you need to dance around to make your jokes more funny then your jokes probably ain't that funny, I smiled at bit at times in this but definitely didn't laugh once, I'm much more a Stuart Lee fan.
