I have HCI-TT 150W 942, unfortunely from new serie produced in china, but generate very nice neutral white with a bit warm addings, imo light is nicer than Philips CDM-TT 942
UV filter in these lamps is additional which reduces not dangerous UV spectrum for human, but dangerous for some items because these can degrade after time in lamp light without this UV filter. Every lamp have just basic UV-C and other dangerous spectrums filter in outer glass made from borosilicate glass which naturally block dangerous UV spectrums

I am glad, that even though it is from China, it produces a very nice light according to what you write, and i firmly believe, that it will serve you well enough. By the way, what's the color rendering? And you're right. This borosilicate glass is also used, for example, by Mercury Vapor lamps with a quartz burner, and even if they are clear (without a layer of phosphorus) they are fine, except that without phosphorus they have a lower Ra. However, I personally thought, that borosilicate glass without a UV filter transmits part of the UV spectrum, which, in addition to destroying polymer bonds in plastics, aging of colors, etc., can also be unsuitable for the eyes with frequent use, and therefore the UV filter. So thanks for letting me know.:-)
