The Driver confidence group gives you the H.I.Ds, and Scat Pack plus package gives you leather and suede seats and dash trimmings....to me the H.I.Ds should have been standard atleast considering the starting price. When you double press the start button on the key fob, it automatically locks the vehicle and then it starts it so unlike most vehicles, you don't have to press the lock button before using remote start.
When it comes to the fuel/mpg on any car, it really depends on what you are coming from. For me before my 19 scat I had an V6 Nissan Xterra making an average of 11 mpg, so when I got my scat I actually noticed much better gas mileage so it’s in my favor, but if you were to be coming from a focus or something then it’ll work against you. Also on far trips I get more distance without filling up in the Scat then the Xterra and the Scat has a smaller tank. So for me, the MPG would be more of a deal sealer even though I didn’t get the car for great MPG.
Nice bang for the buck. Nice color as well. Srt used to have decent looking wheel choices. The all black for everything doesn’t work for me. Needs fatter summer tires and lowered to get rid of the wheel well gap. 305’s in the rear is what it needs. 285 up front.
About Fuel is really just about how you drive. I daily drive a BMW 428i gran coupe. It has 240hp and I get 15mpg when I could be getting at least 25mpg but it's all about where u live and how you drive, like said if in each light your passing the engine then don't expect good fuel economy.
On my challenger scat pack my mpg averaged was 14. It took a 100 mile stretch on the open highway in Arizona to get 21 mpg. But that's just what happens when you buy one of the current largest production engines
My daily is an 05 E55 AMG bone stock and some guy with a brand new scat pack tried messing with me (still had tempt tags on). He probably was sad he couldn’t beat my old grandpa looking car and went to the dealership the next day to trade in his boat for an AMG 😏 Edit: I used to own a scat pack, I’m just poking fun all in good faith- don’t get too upset to all you Mopar or No Car guys.
I was wondering if getting a Scatpack is good choice for a first time Dodge Charger owner over a Hellcat I’m hoping I can get one next year when I turn 21
I think you should start with the RT to get used to the power on the real. I know lots of people will say get the Scat or the Cat but these cars have quite a bit of power. Get used to how the cars handle then step up to the Scat. That's what I'm bout to get next year. But I've had the Rt Awd for 4 yrs now I have the RT Road and Track. Don't rush it it's more than driving these cars fast dude. That power can get away from you in a sec. The same people that'll say get the Cat or Scat won't be paying for your cost to own them. Takes steps to learn about driving this car. You'll appreciate it that much more when you do decide. But in my opinion get the Rt 1st so you can get familiar with the power, then step up slowly. Trust me you'll be glad and better off if you did it this way. Learn what having that power really means before you spend all that money to own it and everything that comes with it. And for the record most people who have the Cat race those cars. Driving the a car that has either 700hp or 535 hp every day isn't gonna be what you think its gonna be.
I had a BMW 328 X drive with only a 4 cyl. turbo that went to single digit MPG when I did 0 to 60 runs. I have a Dodge Charger 3.6 Pentastar that accelerates at 7 MPG.

So beautiful and awesome engine and sound. That is the most beautiful green. I'm getting one at end of next year but maybe R/T. I Currently have a GT and I get 22mpg as my average. Guessing R/T will be 18mpg and scatpack will be 17mpg.

I've had my Daytona 392 for 2 years and no problems. Biggest thing Ima say my dude, is take care of your car, she'll take care of you. Just make sure you handle everything with maintenance and these mean beasts will always start for another crazy drive💯
@@incognito4601 👍👍
I’m so used to averaging 18mpg in a civic and maybe 15mpg in an Acadia that at this point I can buy any car and it can’t get any worse than that. 2015 M4 is my next car, around Christmas I’ll have my insurance drop so I’m making the jump
You’ve told me everything I needed to know. Probably best review I’ve seen
Shucks, I only have a '14 SuperBee🐝🤣
@Silver N Black Mopar Hahaha. Mine IS the Limited Billet Silver too😉
Thanks for the review. You did a great job!! Gotta love the Scat Pack!!
That color looks so good !! great review like the honesty.
Thank you so much!
I love these chargers I had the pleasure of photographing one yesterday 2015 scatpack made a short video of it
You totally lost me when you started talking about gas mileage! nobody's buying that car hoping or expecting to get good gas mileage!
It can get upwards of 22mpg on Highway Trips.😉
You should always roll out of your burn outs not very good for the transmission to just have the tires stick.
the guy that did donuts on the lodge freeway in michigan had the same color lol
A hellcat is my dream car
The 2019 sounds way different then previous models
Good review but the comment on fuel economy should not be a deal breaker. I have a 2019 Daytona 392 and love it. On the highway its not bad. In town the fun and sound of this beast out way any cost of fuel. 93+ octane every fill up for mine. One sweet ride!
I could listen to the sound of the exhaust the whole day and never get tired of it.
FYI the difference between the Scat Pack and the SRT392 is that the latter has the bigger 6 piston Hellcat brakes, tires and electrically adjustable suspension and SRT modes and performance pages.
I am driving a 2019 Dodge charger Scatpack and I just had 5 inch tips put on and it sounds amazing
i have the 2019 triple nickel color that just came out with all the packages i have the newer wheels and all my lights are LED even the bulb red interior on doors and seats
Man thing is so sick. The color. The engine. The rims. Sheesh!
Have the Scat Pack Shaker. Couldnt be happier. Just needed to swap out rear tires and put an beefier axle back exhaust.
When you double press the start button on the key fob, it automatically locks the vehicle and then it starts it so unlike most vehicles, you don't have to press the lock button before using remote start.
Yea the 2019 dodge charger srt scat package
I would opt for the leather / suede interior over any “exterior” options
When it comes to the fuel/mpg on any car, it really depends on what you are coming from. For me before my 19 scat I had an V6 Nissan Xterra making an average of 11 mpg, so when I got my scat I actually noticed much better gas mileage so it’s in my favor, but if you were to be coming from a focus or something then it’ll work against you. Also on far trips I get more distance without filling up in the Scat then the Xterra and the Scat has a smaller tank. So for me, the MPG would be more of a deal sealer even though I didn’t get the car for great MPG.
2019 Dodge Charger *SCAT PACK*
11/10 Naming
Only $50Gs. Great deal.
lmaoo
Nice bang for the buck. Nice color as well. Srt used to have decent looking wheel choices. The all black for everything doesn’t work for me. Needs fatter summer tires and lowered to get rid of the wheel well gap. 305’s in the rear is what it needs. 285 up front.
Omg I've wanted one exactly like that, can't afford it yet tho
About Fuel is really just about how you drive. I daily drive a BMW 428i gran coupe. It has 240hp and I get 15mpg when I could be getting at least 25mpg but it's all about where u live and how you drive, like said if in each light your passing the engine then don't expect good fuel economy.
If gas economy is your deal breaker than you’d be shopping for a v6 or a Honda. 😂🐝 but overall good review!
Got an 18 challenger RT and thinking about trading it for a charger scat... is it worth it people?
On my challenger scat pack my mpg averaged was 14. It took a 100 mile stretch on the open highway in Arizona to get 21 mpg. But that's just what happens when you buy one of the current largest production engines
Good review, looking to buy one early next year either destroyer gray or pitch black with leather seats.
My daily is an 05 E55 AMG bone stock and some guy with a brand new scat pack tried messing with me (still had tempt tags on). He probably was sad he couldn’t beat my old grandpa looking car and went to the dealership the next day to trade in his boat for an AMG 😏
Edit: I used to own a scat pack, I’m just poking fun all in good faith- don’t get too upset to all you Mopar or No Car guys.
🔴100% AGREE ON THE AFTER MARKET LAST MINUTE THOUGHT YELLOW LIGHTS
You didn't talk about that magnificent option of shutting down four of the cylinders which then allows for excellent fuel economy..........
I had a BMW 328 X drive with only a 4 cyl. turbo that went to single digit MPG when I did 0 to 60 runs. I have a Dodge Charger 3.6 Pentastar that accelerates at 7 MPG.
I fucking despise green cars, but this color is absolutely stunning and I'm HIGHKEY in love with it. Only green I like (besides desert and camo greens on select vehicles.)
The SRT name is gone, but you can get all of the previous SRT options added to the Scat. There's also a Daytona option for the Scat Pack.
@Slatt ball 252 True, but the important stuff like the suspension upgrades and SRT page options are all still there.
Very nice color. I haven't seen one in the shade on the road here in So. Cal., but it's legit. That's the color I'd choose as well.
So beautiful and awesome engine and sound. That is the most beautiful green. I'm getting one at end of next year but maybe R/T. I Currently have a GT and I get 22mpg as my average. Guessing R/T will be 18mpg and scatpack will be 17mpg.
It’s not called a SRT scat pack it’s R/T scat pack
Nice, I have a 2015 R/T Silver, I see this Green look awesome. And YESSS I agree 100% about the lights it's should be HIDs..love the fogs light I have the LEDs strips.
One this that I hate I the side markers I change those for the ones that the whole lights works not that little small dot, it should be the whole strip.
Nice car bro.
Most car manufacturers do like making extra money on parts. Since most Dodge dealers have humongous sized parts departments anyway. LOL
YOOO this intro was everything! Immediate sub man!🤙
The pattern on the cloth seats is houndstooth.
Could you please Do a review of Dodge Durango RT ? Thanks 🙏 Cheers 😁
You said it's the best looking tail light in the market I personally dont like the tail light on this whole car it should have been aggressive
Great review. I ordered mine yesterday !!!!!!!!
I don't know what you're doing. I got 25.8 mpg driving to Florida from Michigan. I get 18 city, more like 13.5 in very spirited city driving in that tires would be a bigger concern. Try eco mode for god's sake.
25 I believe if youre on cruise going 55 the whole way on 4cyl mode lol. My grand cherokee srt gets 11-12 combined city. Theres no way you get 18 in tru city traffic driving.
Charger R/T scatpack not srt lol
Swavey Mike yea they don’t make those no more lol
Mine says SRT on the valve covers, and on the startup screen
@@shanephillips6060 mine too. I have the 2019 Daytona 392. Its still the same SRT as before just no outside markings of SRT. The Daytona rocks. LOVE MINE! Who care about fuel economy when you buy one of these.
They don’t make r/t nomore it’s a srt scat pack @swavey mike
@@stevekathyrunion2204
Sorry, but the Daytona 392 is just a *R/T Scat Pack* with unique exterior/interior badging, different wheels & a cold air intake.
Great breakdown on a beautiful car!
I just bought the exact same car and I love it, but he's not wrong about the HORRIBLE fuel economy. Sitting in the driveway just revving it, I watched the gas gage dropping...
Great video as always !!🙌🏼
R/T Scat Pack is the technical name
True, but the headers on the engine, dash cluster and center display all say "powered by SRT" in my 2020... so I mean, it is arguable. I also have modes and features that you can't get in the R/T, but come standard in a Hellcat.
what if you are inside the car with the key and someone comes to open the car can they?
I work at a dealership and Idk if we got bad apples but the amount of factory orange peel is laughable other than that this car is insane for what you get at that price
ordered a b5 blue 2019 dodge challenger scat pack widebody a few days ago. looking forward to it
Lem0nsquid how do u pay for that I wish I could do that
