The weapons were my first pair of nice shoes that sparked my sneaker craze back in 03-04 I think . I learned how good a sneaker compliment could be in 6th grade and it was a wrap ever since. 🔥🔥🔥🔥

These are the ones I wanted instead of the other CX foam Weapons they released way earlier but the platforms grew on me because of how comfortable they are. Also the leather on classic chevron converse are always A+.
These are absolute fire! Been wanting these since I was 13 and saw these in foreign tv commercials. Only knew Larry Bird from the Commodore 64 game one on one😄 Can't believe I finaly got a pair and the quality and comfort is awesome! Absolute bargain at 120 euro's. Love these and the only sneaker I would love more is the Laker colorway of the Weapon.

I was born in 2002 therefore I am part of Gen Z but I will always remember my father showing me when I was a child a picture of Larry Bird playing in a pair of what I didn't know at the time were Converse Weapons
Yea!!! Im a millennial but i had tons of vhs from the 80s and when i saw the weapons out i had to grt one for nostalgia... then i found out they are akso ultra comfortable!!!
Probably my favorite basketball sneaker of all time!!! I had a pair of these when they originally released in 1986.. I was 16 years old. The Boston Celtics are my favorite team and Larry Bird was my favorite player so I had to have these to play hoops in.. and I’m so excited that Converse is bringing these classic sneakers back! Nice review BTW.
When I saw Converse had re-released the Weapon, I had to buy a pair. I've waited a long time for a new pair of Weapons. I had a pair of black Weapon high tops back in the day. I don't remember them being super comfortable and these are no different. The leather on the new ones is far superior to the old ones. I love the look and I'm glad I bought them. If I'm going to do a lot of walking, these Weapons are staying in my closet.
I had the Steelers color version back in the day. They are great street b balling shoes. The grip is insane. Top tier for sure.

grew up always wanting these till I saw the Jordan 1's.... needless to say I bought them now as an adult to re live my youth and they do not disappoint. Much more comfortable and higher quality than Jordan 1's. The white isn't white though. It's like sand or off white or aged white. But very cool looking and comfy to boot. I had to go a full size down from my typical Nike size.

I played on my junior high basketball team 1986 to 1989, and our school colors copied the Celtics. Everyone wanted the green and white or black and white Weapons. My parents would say, "No way we're paying $100 for sneakers!" Now I can finally have a pair!
I’ve been talking to people leading to the release. adidas created the leather Bball shoe and figured out how to play in them without tearing through the toebox. Converse leaned in hard.
I rocked these way back. I rode BMX in them. They were bulletproof. ‘Still looks hard in 2024.

Just got my pair, black as well, and I LOVE them. Been waiting for a retro of these og classic pairs for a while and I’m more than satisfied. Like seriously, $120 got me Superb leather and comfy interior padding and lining. Meanwhile my Jordan 1s and 4s leather doesn’t even come close to the Weapon’s leather quality, and Jordan retros cost $180 - $225. Do better Jordan brand, do better.
Those sneaker lol hope they are more comfortable than the originals Work boot yes I owned the magic pair and the Knicks Bernard King version

Stupid 'aging' to make new sneakers look old. Hate that they make the white leather a tan color. In a few years, people are going to wonder what people were thinking buying new shoes with yellowing rubber and discolored leather.
