About Ep.2-
After Graypaw learned Rustpaw is now in ShadowClan and tried to convince him to leave, Rustpaw passed the trial to become a warrior of ShadowClan, Rustclaw.
ShadowClan attacked WindClan for the second time and drove them out this time.
Thistlepaw dead, and Brokenstar gave him the warrior name "Thistlefur".
Bluestar sent Dustpelt and Sandstorm to bring WindClan back.
Spottedleaf no longer trust her leader so that she said nothing about the four missing kits that stolen by Rustclaw and Clawface.
Graystripe happened to meet Princess. After a short conversation, they learned that Rustclaw is Princess's brother. Despite what she heard from Graystripe, Princess still sent her son, Cloud(renamed Moldkit by Brokenstar), to Rustclaw, hoping ShadowClan will raise him a fine warrior.
Tigerclaw led the rogue cats in ThunderClan camp and killed Bluestar in the chaos, therefore he became the new leader of ThunderClan. Ignoring the warrior code, Tigerstar chose Longtail who hadn't mentored an apprentice yet as his new deputy.
A war between two ambitious leaders is on the verge of breaking. . .

I thought of this idea for the next one, how about rustclaw and spottedleaf falls in love and becomes mates? I always liked that pairing and I thought that it might be fun to see where this pair goes.
I love how rustclaw isn’t technically “evil.” just misguided. Because he’s very calm to princess and cares about his apprentice. He’s just doing what shadowclan says.

Even villains have soft spots, and the fact that he is so calm towards his apprentice and Princess does not mean he isn't evil. He kills and harms, and he knows its wrong cause he doesn't do it to Princess and he has been harmed before. So yeah, he's willingly following Shadowclan's orders with this knowledge and is therefore evil.

I feel like Darkstripe is going to have an important part in the third part, shown as he is clearly angry about Longtail being chosen as deputy. I think. Maybe Rustclaw and Darkstripe will team up to kill Longtail?

Also, well I do respect the opinion of Rustclaw having a hard time with choosing either Greystripe or Brokenstar, I just don't see it happening.
Considering Rustclaw has:
-drived out Yellowfang and blinded her, causing her to become infected and die
-kidnapped kits form ThunderClan
-fully supported Brokenstar
-shown to enjoying fighting
I really don't think Greystripe could ever have a friendship with Rustclaw. Unless somehow, Rustclaw has a great character arc, thought with the Darkstripe theory in mind, I feel like it wouldn't work out.
Rusty belongs to the tribe of shadows. And the Long-Tailed and Striped from the Thunderstorm. How then will they unite against Longtail??

My guess is, Rustclaw will chat with Darkstripe a bit at the gathering. Darkstripe would probably know about what Longtail did to Rustclaw and try and use that to team up with him. Am guessing Rustclaw will want revenge and agree to help Darkstripe defeat Longtail. I think they will succeed, however, I believe Darkstripe will grow greedy and try to kill Tigerstar to become leader (guessing Tigerstar made him deputy after Longtail died and unknown that Darkstripe was the killer)
If Darkstripe succeeds, I think he'll want Rustclaw to also become leader (which I think Rustclaw is already deputy) so they'll have more control over the forest together. However, Rustclaw is loyal and defeats Darkstripe instead. That's my guess.

Rustclaw isn’t actually evil. He seems to be fairly ignorant to what’s going on towards having to/pressured to do things for his clan
Also when people say he’s having a hard time deciding between the two they mean it in a “boyfriend vs dad” kinda way which would be a struggle to pick between..
I don’t really see him joining darkstripe?? That’d be extremely coincidental, too much so to make sense imo, plus he has no reason to meddle in thunderclans affairs even with revenge as a possible reason it’s not enough to meddle in another clans affairs via assassination
Tigerstar choosing Longtail over Darkstripe has me half expecting darkstripe to run off and pull that good ole' swiftpaw-brightpaw maneuver by grabbing a pal and cruising for some dogs.

I recently discovered the Rust AU and I must say this feels so much like it could be a netflix show. Such a great storyline, it's not your typical "i'm the bad guy surrounded by heroes" or "i'm the hero surrounded by bad guys", it's literally just a villain arc among villain arcs. Not overusing tropes, just keeping everything simple yet beautifully crafted and well made.
I have no words. A well crafted story that doesn't miss anything. This butterfly effect, which changes the main course of the story, but at the same time preserves small events, is simply gorgeous!

It's finally done! I'm so excited. The part where Dark didn't get appointed as a deputy is hilarious. Everyone did a great job. Thumbnail is perfect, too. I'm looking forward to the next story!

What I got from the after credits scene is that Graystripe manages to build a friendship with Rustclaw, although Rustclaw still chooses to stay in ShadowClan. But when he sees each of the kittens he helped steal die or become severely injured, and when he realizes he helped the evacuation of a whole clan, he starts to become disillusioned with Brokenstar and strays from his loyalty to ShadowClan. I think he would also become shaken in his loyalty when he brings Moldkit into camp and sees how Brokenstar just treats Moldkit as a future soldier and not as Rustclaw's kin, and the fact Brokenstar gives Rustclaw's nephew such a disgusting name as "mold"

So the end credit scene only solidifies my stance that Blackfoot is Rustclaw’s adopted father now. Also, did Brokenstar set up Thistlepaw to die because he remembered too much?
Thistle wasn't the one who remembered Thunderclan, Fern is.
@@skyshack4194 They both remembered ThunderClan. I think the girls were given more love and attention because they reminded Brightflower of Mintkit and Marigoldkit, and thus they were more fully indoctrinated into ShadowClan.
This LIVED UP TO ITS HYPE!!! IT WAS AS GOOF AS THE FIRST MAP!! HOLY STARCLAN I AM IMPRESSED!
The way this AU twists the original story is awesome!! It really shows that if Rusty never joined Thunderclan specifically, things would be even more chaotic. All the people who took time writing and animating this AU, making sure its intriguing did a good job! The story is undoubtedly intriguing and makes me want more content!
Also poor Darkstripe, my boy didnt get chosen for the deputy role. :(

The beginning where Rustclaw interacted with Graystripe was very minor, but I thought putting that in was really worth it

This is a delightful surprise!! I literally felt excitement when I saw that this map was finished!! It's going to be amazing I just know it! The first map did not disappoint! The writing and the animation is pure quality content! This AU idea is brilliant! If there ever is a third map ( which is a possibility) I have high hopes it's going to be good as the first and second! Now I shall wait for this masterpiece to premiere.

I feel like Darkstripe is going to play a big part in this AU, he’s clearly mad he isn’t deputy and it puts emphasis on that. I’m so excited to see more!

IM LATE BUT HOLY HECKIN WE DO!
So, if I understand the ending correctly, (which I’m not sure I do, I’m very stupid):
1. Brokenstar speaks with a senior warrior(?) about scourge. Joining up with him, most likely. Rustclaw overhears, and isn’t thrilled about the prospect. Does he know who scourge is? Also, seeing as how Brokenstar is not talking to Blackfoot about this and the later shot with Rustclaw, I have to wonder if Blackfoot has lost some standing.
2. Marigoldwhisker (brightheart), Mintfur (cinderpelt), and Ferntail (brackenfur) are all warriors. Marigoldwhisker and Mintfur seem to have moved on from Thistlepaw’s (thornclaw’s) death; ferntail has not. He thinks about what thistlepaw told them before his death - that they’re truly from thunderclan. The other two love shadowclan though, and don’t particularly care. Maybe he knows that thistlepaw’s death was orchestrated? Ferntail decides to run off to reunite with frostfur, their birth mother.
3. Swiftpaw, Longtail’s apprentice, (which he seemed to have gotten as a deputy, breaking the code) becomes a warrior; Swiftheart. We don’t know how much time has passed between his apprenticeship and warrior ceremony- but if my timeline is correct, he’s undertrained. Thunderclan doesn’t have any apprentices.
4. Tigerstar scoops up Bramblekit. Goldenflower and tawnykit are nowhere to be seen, and the shot implies that he found him in the forest and/or stole him. Curious. I can’t understand the shot with longtail and some other warrior… maybe that’s Goldenflower? Bramblekit appears to be raised by tigerstar, becoming a mini him. More than in canon, anyway.
5. I _think_ this is dustpelt confessing to sandstorm but I could be wrong. She accepts!
6. Graystripe visits the shadowclan border; the repeated jump implies that he has been visiting the border daily, hoping to catch sight of rustclaw. Rustclaw does see him this time, and after recognizing him as not a threat, laughs at him for having bracken stuck in his fur.
7. Tigerstar plots to take over the forest- but realizes that brokenstar would never allow shadowclan to fall into his paws, and that he could very well take over the forest before Tigerstar. Tigerstar plots how to get rid of him; he comes up with the dog idea.
7. Rustclaw has a flashback to being attacked by brokenstar. I think this was either during “training”, or he was defending Blackfoot. He knows about Thistlepaw’s death being orchestrated. He’s torn between loyalty to his friend, Graystripe, and loyalty to his leader, a murderer. Or maybe, he’s debating what would be best for his clan; Graystripe just represents one option.
Please correct me if you see anything wrong! I did my best but I kind of need things spelled out for me, lol

But it’s so cool because without “Fire’heart” Ravenpaw would fail to succeed in ratting our “Tiger’claw/star” for killing Red’tail!! And that lead to Blue’star dying under Tiger’claw/star’s attack. And it’s amazing how without Blue’stars decision to not make Swift’paw and the rest of the apprentices warriors because of their suspicious mentors- but idk why she didn’t make Bright’heart a warrior because her mentor was whitestorm but anyway- that turned out to Swift’paw living! Because he never was jealous and sad and didn’t go out looking to kill a dog. But all in all.. THIS IS AMAZING!! OUTSTANDING AND BEAUTIFUL!!

The dogs I think never were in snake rocks to begin with because tigerstar didn’t need to weaponize them against himself?
Also I think blue star was so far gone that she only trusted fireheart because he saved her

Also I want to point out that in this au Brokenstar actually holds funerals for cats who die. Because the apprentice died with their eyes open, the cats were also respectful by closing them. So my question is, is Brokenstar a little nicer in this AU or is he simply doing it to please the clan so he can not have the clan turn against him this time around? I ask this because its small details like this in an AU that makes a BIG difference to all characters involved.

My interpretation for how episode 3 is gonna pan out: episode 3 will revolve arounds rustclaws loyalty and how has a hard to chosing wether to be loyal towardss thunderclan or shadowclan Here Scourge might become allies with shadowclan and some cat will die in order to give the dogs a hunger for cat flesh Perhaps an elder like white-eye since she's old and probably wont be able to defend herself or spottedleaf since she's the only witness of patrol that resulted in the kitnapping of willowpelts kits and from what it seems Tigerstar has kitnapped His son bramblekit and taken him as a apprentice moldkit (cloudtail) and bramblekit will have their apprenticeship ceremonys and maybe either during episode 3 or 4 Crookedstar will die and Leapordstar will become leader (Since this seems to be Every episode seems to revolve around the books from the first arc Brokenstar Will manipulate Leapordstar With the whole river being filled with twoleg trash Thing Stating that if She Joins him and Forms tigerclan Then Shadowclan will share there Hunting grounds) and She'll form Tiger clan with Brokenstar like in canon with Tigerstar And Perhaps (Under the presumation the Silverstream and greystripe Become Mates like in canon) Feathertail And Stormfur WIll be born There will be more stuff that causes rustclaw to question his loyalty Rustclaw will join dark stripe In Taking over longtail as deputy (the plan will probably be simaliar to the canon explanation Some how Getting blinding by a rabbit or they'll attack him and blind him) and thats all i have.
I'm so delighted to see the 2nd part completed! It was definitely worth the wait. It gave us a lot of lore while still raising SO many questions. Like we're getting further and further from canon, so the arcs that are set up are completely new (the leaders rivalry, Darkstripe jealousy, Rustclaws hesitation...), and I can't wait to see how this story will progress. It's all so exciting.
I wonder what was going through TallStar's head when he saw RustClaw.. I'm not entirely sure if in this AU Rusty would resemble Jake as much in the original, but maybe? Anyway- I think if TallStar had seen RustClaw, what would he have been thinking.. Idk, but ik for sure that it's an amazing AU
I do feel like if that tigerstar did kill bluestar and become leader he would pick longtail because when he was exiled he did ask him first if he wanted to join him

I'm really happy that the map I've been waiting for the most is finished. Also I love the way its shown that there is still hope for Rustclaw and I think in the end he still may be the "Fire (or something else idk) alone that will save the clan" . Btw the ending is the best.
It's great! This is the best au map! The nice thing about this was that the bright paw (marigold paw) and the swift paw became warriors without being attacked by a pack of wild dogs! Looking at the map, it may not seem like the two are connected, but it still feels good!

I think that in the next episode, the Darkstripe will play a role in killing the Longtail. Maybe Longtail will die like in canon under a fallen tree, but not without the participation of the Darkstripe
I have been waiting for this for so long and let me say- this was definitely worth the wait. The story, the way the MAP was constructed, the animators, everything was absolutely perfect.

So, let me get this straight
Thornpaw said he didn't like ShadowClan and that he will always be ThunderClan, and he gets killed in the battle. Brakenpaw felt the same as him, so instead of voicing his corncerns as him, he decides to go back to ThunderClan?
I was rewatching the end and I realized Mudclaw was the one who killed Thornpaw lol. And in 6:52 Rusty realizes Brokenstar was the one who sent Thorn to fight Mudclaw
I just had to run over and watch this after the first episode.
This series has been so well written. The Longtail / Darkstripe dilemma is such an interesting rivalry!!
I think Rustclaw has really become a complex character because of these changes. I love it so much.

I still laugh at Otta Lits' among us Brokenstar. Every time I see that Sussy Baka Brokenstar, I always laugh. Every time. It should not be that funny but it absolutely is. HELP

I absolutely love this! It’s so interesting to see what can all change by a simple choice, this is why I love AUs and what if stories. :) Kinda wanna see what would happen if Firestar wound up in the other two clans now. Don’t know why but I think Sunbird might be a good River Clan name, that or I just like the name. Lol

1:18 this big is truly amazing, you can see the clear shock in Bluestar’s eyes, and the hatred in rust claws, I love it, it also gives of a dark aptnoshpere (I spelled it wrong Ik)
This is so amazing! I actually really like the idea of this au and I really love how well it's crafted and how many details there are. I think that everyone did an amazing job and it was totally worth the wait!

Definitely a top tier map!! I have always loved the AU's of Rustclaw/Rustpaw and him teaming up with Brokenstar instead! Great job to all the animations and editors, and every one who helped make this MAP happen! This is also one of my favorite songs, so that adds to the infinite greatness of this map! This AU is so good and well thought out! If Spottedleaf hasn’t received the prophecy, Bluestar wouldn’t take so kindly to Rusty, so it makes perfect sense! I’m glad you considered the kit stealing as well and a bunch of the canon events that Firepaw/Fireheart affected. He affected practically everyone!
