Oh boy this was one fun ride! This might be one of my favorite MAPs I have ever hosted, all the participants did an amazing job bringing the storyboard to life while giving their own personal twists! Big thanks to my co-host Miss Eus who not only did the amazing storyboard, but was a great help during MAP production! Check out her channel here:

MAP Explanation : A MAP stands for a Multi-Animator-Project. For this video, over 60 animators got together, each given a 3-7 second storyboard clip, and created this animation through their artistic talents! All participants had a deadline of one month, and despite a few extensions made, the MAP production was finished at a rapid pace!
This MAP tells the story of Sol, a strange cat who mesmerizes apprentices Jaypaw, Hollypaw and Lionpaw. Despite his seemingly fun demeanor, the apprentices over time discover Sol's true nature and motives.

i actually checked the original video, they used procreate to animate and just kinda guessed, they didn’t have to listen to it over and over

I love how Sol is the go to "weird" villain for projects like these, though it does suit him. Jay's part was perfect for him too.

I remember my boyfriend saying that Sol was the "weirdest" villain in Warriors and I can kinda see why lmao.
@@joltyflare I think it's because of how different he is from other warrior antagonists. The rest of the antagonists are power hungry, murderous tyrants and Sol feels like a petulant child. He's lazy, so he lies and cheats to get his way and emotionally manipulates those around him to let him get what he wants and if they don't fall for it he throws a temper tantrum. He tries so hard to come off as mysterious and aloof but his true self is just kind of... pathetic.

This gave me an idea for an AU where Sol had the same future-sight curse that Goosefeather had, but instead of desperately trying to save ppl, he uses it to cause even more chaos bc he's Sol. Maybe he could use knowledge of Goosefeather and his condition to his advantage with his whole 'reject Starclan, return to monke' thing, bc that's pretty damn good proof that Starclan isn't all benevolent and well-intentioned

Sol is such a good villain because psychological manipulation is such a horrifying idea. With most villains, they slit your throat and it's done with, but having to watch a cat turn the cats you know against each other is sad and absolutely terrifying. Causing carnage and sitting and watching like a sociopath, that's a true villain right there.

Also sol: let's traumatize apprentices for no reason and give.basically everybody religious trauma
God, I loved Jayfeather's little expressions throughout this. And the little twitches from the dead cats. this was so well made!

Out of all this, I have three things to say: I love how Midnight is a computer, it's funny how Lionblaze says he's friends with his dad, and I love how Jaypaw is the only one who questions why there is fish everywhere.
I love how Sol just appears at the start without question. He doesn’t walk up behind the Three, he doesn’t jump off a tree or anything. He just kinda spawns in.
I like how lionpaw is the most clueless, and jaypaws suspicion is perfect

I love the way that this map was been handled, the fact what you accepted a bunch of underrated animators is só cool! Because when i was checking the finished parts i had the chance to subscribe in a Lot of them! Só thank you for show me those hidden talents!

I just can't you all, this was so great!! I never in my life thought about a combination of Warriors and Don't Hug Me I'm Scared! Jaypaw being Red Guy is something that I never even conceived, and yet it works out perfectly! And already knowing the audio I was curious on how the alarm part was going to be done, and I was not disappointed! Just an amazing map, and even the credits was well done! Awesome job everyone!! Easily one of my favorite maps!
I really love how the tail moves side to side to the sound of a clock.
This is so cool! Like I love the way how child-cartoony styled it was, like one of those “educational” shows you would see on tv channels and it just got darker and darker..like time :>
i love the jokingly cartoony theme of this map, and how it suddenly becomes horrifying. sol is a unique villain, he’s not all “powerful” and “strong,” but manipulative. every animator did amazing on this map!! love the character designs!
I love how after Sol said ‘now you can SEE the importance of time’ Jayfeather turns away 😂

The scene with the alarm sound was so SMOOTH! This entire map was an acid trip but it sure was an interesting one!
I was just listening to the DHMIS soundtrack and I thought “Wow, I wonder if anyone made a warrior cat MAP out of these songs!” And then a couple days later the map call for this came out.

IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS AHHH!!!! THE AMOUNT OF WORK THE SEVERAL ANIMATORS PUT INTO THIS IS VERY CLEAR AND THE MOTIONS OF HOLLY JAY LION AND ESPECIALLY SOL ARE PERFECTLY PORTRAYED AND I LOVE IT!!!
I couldn't believe that sol saying: "Eventually everyone runs out of time" gave me chills than directly saying we all will die sometime

THIS IS SO GOOD!! I am so in shock. The idea and song is so unique and fitting AHHH. Great job to everyone you can tell they used so many frames.. it’s just so smooth and the styles are amazing! The glitches are creepy and cool as hell. Sol is seriously underrated.. and yes, Jayfeather my beloved lol. I love how skeptical he was throughout the whole time, meanwhile Holly and Lion and just going along with it- cute fluffs🥰
AAAAH this came out so fantastic! Definitely loving seeing all these names I'm not familiar with, too, we got some great animators in this community. They did a great job taking the storyboard and just running with it.
