- In this session we head out on the rocks for the first session of 2024 in search of a fish or two.
Bright conditions make matters slightly tricky but we persevere to see whether anything is lurking in the chocolate like water!

Funny enough I had one out at 5lb 6oz about a week ago not far from where you were fishing. 👍
No pain no gain.. always worth the 250 mile round trip up from Lancaster. Especially as the Irish sea seems codless this year.

@@fullcircleangling been very hit and miss for some time,, was up round craster for a few days last week ,a few good coddlin to 4 pd and lots of haddock too. Loved it.. always a problem digging fresh lugg though. Buckets full of it here.

Haha nothing better then a gold old beep bop on the rocks lol that was a nice clean fish that mate well done a was out last night with me mate got stuck in to some big fish the 3 of them were a out 7/8lb plus shame we couldnt land them other then that it was a good night 👍🏻👌🏻🎣

Awesome videos mate, I feel your pain, past life fished NE Scotland and it was an expensive hobby with losing rigs. Definitely in the shock leader camp tae, having that sense of security when launching a lead out is a must. Tight lines man, looking forward to next vid.

I've started using "Canny clips" to reduce rig costs and attempt to keep snags down to a minimum as a lot smaller than other bait clips - what's the main reason behind using splash down clips over the canny clip. I see a lot of people using them but personally can't justify the cost (I'm obvs skint;)

Cheers mate I’ll have to have a look at those. I use the splash downs simply so I know they’ve got the best chance of staying streamline, but you’re right, they’re not cheap.
