Basically it's because the ulti is just like a bunch of clones, enemies with heal can probably benefit from it. If only would those clones be just like the morph bombs of diggie and lilia, then it would be useful.
Or if they could just make gloo immune while in Ult.

I do have some comments to share since I do play gloo during ranked although im kinda late into this video but you still gave me a heads up for some characters I need to stay cautious of
1. Alice may heal but only for a while as you can see in the video but since the "stick, stick" stacks were full, it wouldve gotten on her before it was full hp.
2. Ruby can definitely heal to full hp but you only ult if you are buying time(since its a sustain vs sustain/getting your team to gank on the enemy not with the team/strategy(bait her closer to the turret and then "grab,grab" onto her and pull her into the turret) and this can apply to most lifesteal characters because you should not be playing in a 1v1, its a team game and you are the tank.
3. Vexanna, Vale, Faramis and Lunox are just definitely pain, just dont think of ulting when they are nearby.
4. Hanabi is a different issue, if you yourself gets hit by the first ulti, then yes its ok to agree with your screen crashin but if your teammates/your little slimes get hit by the first ulti, you can run out(Gloo does not experience any slowness when ulting and instead gains a speed boost)
5. Please, never ever pull an enemy towards your teammates who are on low hp, if you thought they would clear up your mess, you instead just gave them a mess.
6. Facing against Yu Zhong, I wouldnt suggest to be low hp when he enters his dragon form because even if you used ur ultimate, his passive steals your hp faster than you can regen(oh and also, if you thought abt getting close to the flying dragon, well your littles slimes will die before it even hits him)
Fun fact: if you time your ultimate correctly, you can actually immune some effects, eg. Franco hooks, tigreal ulti, cyclops ulti etc, ive experienced them in ranked and they were so clutch for my battles.
So yeah thats abt it, if yall have any gloo tips i missed out, you can tell me.
Edit: and for aldous, just charge at him if he used his first skill immediately so he doesnt get the second one, or just be low hp and do the strategy to bait him closer and yeet him into the turret

A few days back I was playing rank with Ruby, my main pick and our enemy chose Gloo. I was probably a hit away from death, Gloo saw that and chased me while still having his ult on. I aimed my first skill towards Gloo and ended up having full health again🗿
