I can confirm from a few matches yesterday that I got outplayed by sidelane Gloo. But then again his rising popularity made me use my main hero even more (Faramis).
Really any hero that's good at taking out multiple targets

Gloo user here. I can confirm Faramis is the enemy im scared the most. He can make a lot of damage when he use his 2nd skill on goos. Its like 1 goo is 1 count and the dmg will all jump to the main body of Gloo.
For those who doesn't use Gloo or unfamiliar to him, his ultimate skill has short cc immunity and that immunity can stop Chou's ultimate kick. Just time it correctly 😃

In case you don't know yet, Gloo sidelane is already a meta last year since his release. It was popularized first by PH Execration/Smart Omega player, Renzio, during MPL-PH S7. It is the hero that gave Blacklist International a hard time during MPL-PH S7 and MSC 2021. But, at that time, only few can utilize Gloo fully as a sidelaner due to cooldown.
Now, player already know how to play him...
Gloo still situasional pick.
Hardcountered by diggie, literally give away HP to spell vamp hero (ruby, yz, etc) and few hyper (lance, roger, benedetta, etc)
And got countered by Blacklist Int'l and other teams by using Faramis. Not much of a threat for Faramis users.

Gloo can literally spam cc when done correctly right from the early game. It's absolutely a game changing buff. *Now all I have left to do is to fix my 27.5% Gloo win rate back to normal.*

Even tho gloo is not buffed It's still a good hero for me currently using gloo for almost 2months now as my main and 530 matches and having 55.1 winrate, Playing Only Solo rank is Ok for me. Top 14davao Del Sur Gloo here Hehe

as a gloo main with almost 900 matches, i do not fear faramis. gloo’s combo is enough to deal with him. i rather deal with faramis than fanny, ling, lance or any super dash hero because even tho u lock them with ur ult they’ll just give u a ride back to their base

What makes gloo dangerous in a 1v1 scenario is that if he gets to go on top of the lone enemy, there's no way to target him. Also, his passive is so broken providing 50% damage reduction at max stacks
Whenever Gloo Ults me when I'm Johnson I immediately drive to my base while he's on top of me so our base can deal 2000 damage per second and kill him or let my teammates finish him down by forcing him to let go off me with driving myself to near base

@@ui_goku9439 his damage is high when you hit multiple target. the number of ricochet from his second skill is depending on the number of enemy hits. since gloo can split, faramis can take advantage of it. its like the last skill of earth shaker of dota

8:18 lord is better in this situation. Midlane has 3 turrets and respawn timers is still short. Moskv can easily lord while the rest of the team push.

No damn noob, you don't even have a single turret for your base and you want to go for lord first? Opponent minions will push half the map and you will have send someone back just to save base. Pushing is the right choice except they needed to finish alucard by any means and they failed and lost. Sparing someone who can solo lord is always better but did you know doing solo lord is hard these days even with moskov

Hello, gloo main here, another thing about gloo is that you can check bushes with slam slam (first skill) by just putting it inside the bush, this will help prevent ambushed in mid or any other bushes. Using first and sec skill to get away can help too by just going through walls
It's been a while since I've used Gloo. He's the one I use every time we don't have someone willing to be Tank on ranked games and he's helped me a lot ranking up. I would definitely use him again now even on Classic games.
Edith is more scary to team up against, because your teammate either knows what he's doing or 90% of the times he doesn't and just feeds the enemy fighter

the ultimate healing capabilities isnt as powerful as it used to be, but with the buff on his first skill it is good now. And gloo was once a meta last year sidelane gloo was really popular
Actually in one of my classic games with my friends we make our gloo pur core and we won

Gloo as a hyper may become good now. Since in case you don't know yet, Gloo could go hyper, and after the buff, he can easily clear the jungle in 30 seconds or so, giving you a huge advantage. But I think him being tank is the best, since you can cc enemy twice in a row as a tank, short skill cd and high mobility.

To counter gloo..u can use Ruby or alpha or YZ . Well u can't possibly kill him but u can preety sustained with him in sidelines.

The biggest issue with EXP GLOO in RANDOM SOLO RANK is once you pick him, your teammates expect you'd be a tank roamer even if you tell them you want to go EXP.
Sad life. But if you're the last to pick and someone already picked a tank then you might get a chance to do EXP GLOO.
Of course it's not an issue if you have teammates who are willing to let you be exp Gloo.

Our squad main hyper has been spamming jungler gloo like crazy and it works, sort of.
Fun fact goo is the only hero with a basic skin that changes the effects/color of the heroes skills

This is why I had hopes for Gloo's future when I got him ;) Mah boy made me proud
I use Gloo but I often get killed in the towers, not because I am really dumb or noob or too aggressive, I know my limits. I often tower dive and take the risk, and it always works for me. The problem is the direction of where Gloo gets off the target after killing the host enemy. Whenever I kill the enemy inside their tower, Gloo sometimes gets off the direction to the center of the enemy tower. I would've survived and played it well if Gloo gets off to the direction away from the turret. I've tried testing if I can control where Gloo gets off after killing the enemy on custom by using the joystick, but it doesn't work. Can someone please tell me how to control the direction of where he gets off? It would really make my gameplay so much better.
