It’s so uncomfy to play kimmy constantly switching from skill and basic attack having to press and aim again and again. Her old skill mechanic was honestly better since all u had to do was press once. The slight delay when switching is so annoying.

The old one is just as annoying because of when you're toggling 1st skill sometimes it's just doesn't activate right away.
The thing with Kimmy is unlike other heroes, her damage focuses on consistency(if you can aim), therefore making her more of a sustain fighter(if you can aim(2)) but it just doesn't bode well with her being squishy as well, relying on her movement speed to run circles around enemies to dodge skillshots and keep hitting(if you can aim again(3)), but she's very susceptible to cc and has limited range as well as only being able to hit single targets making her very not great in comparison to other heroes in the meta.
Kimmy is (somehow) the only character that not only get the "old design kit", but also no actual adjustment to the kit. Even your "old heroes" getting 1 or 2 tools to help them these days. But kimmy? Nope, nada, not doing that shit. I refuse to believe that they making kimmy to be able to use burst build an adjustment because granger is in the game AND getting a revamp with easy to use, more consistent damage option

kimmy is one of the few heroes I'd like to call "Noob killers" because what it lacks in high rank matches it makes up for how scary she is if you don't understand how she works as an enemy.yes you may understand that she can go Full on "Heavy Machine-Gun🗿" on you but once she starts shooting None of the one trick players (Fresh Layla mains) won't do a thing (There's also heroes like Khaleed, Benedetta, Jawhead and more in the Noob killer roster.)
Khaleed has great damage, but loses to tanky and cc heroes.
Honestly every mm that isnt a basic attack user is a "Noob Killer" in my opinion. Skill based mm can easily make you go 100 to 0 and Magic based mm are a pure middle finger to WoN (that most noobs forgot to use).

Use magic build to make her ult into a tactical nuke
I used Kimmy earlier as an mm role (the mage role was taken), she's hard to aim her basic attack and her ult, but with a good team and use her basic attack more, she's strong enough to win the game. I'm glad my team won with me having gold (Gatot got the mvp).
The best tip, for me, when using Kimmy is to use her basic attack on minions, and use her 1st skill if you need more damage to kill the enemy or during teamfights. Don't rely too much on her 1st skill during the early game
One of the charm of Kimmy is how her ult can be "spammed" in late game and with right build, the damage is scary. She also can punish reckless MM and fighter that try to follow and attack her by walking. All she had to do is waiting for the energy to filled again and those who stupidly following her will disappeared in seconds. One of the bad thing of her is low mobility skills (would appreciate it if the second skill range is longer OR giving, let's say, 20% extra movement speed for several seconds) and her basic attack damage on turret is sooo low even any other mage who only relied on skills only like Nana, Kagura, Lunox deal more damage to turret than her. Give her more (spammable) movement speed buff and buff her energy, and she'll become one of the top MM. Also, yesterday, I checked the minimum MMR to enter Global title for Kimmy, and iirl you only need ~4600 MMR. That's pretty crazy cause my friend has 4200+ MMR on Lesley and he doesn't even get the top Indonesia title 😂

A good buff for her is that they make her 1st skill to be a basic attack enhancer/enhanced basic attack. That way, you can utilize Feather of Heaven's passive and lifesteal stats.

I tried playing Mage Kimmy and one of the things I learned with her is to lead my shots. And by that I mean to have her follow the direction of where the enemy heads towards rather than where they actually are.
It's annoying, but if anything, it taught me how to use my aiming skills efficiently.
Kimmy is one of the heroes which I learned first when I started playing this game. I learned how to aim properly because of this hero. (I struggled so much) She is really fun to play

The omission of the extra damage per hit of the glowing wand really hit her bad. 24 damage per tick at max stack, 7.6 basic attack tick per second. That is 182 additional damage per second, regardless of HP. I used to main her, i can roam around the map without a tank. Now
Don't build full pen on Kimmy, because you won't have enough damage. It's better to only build berserker then all other item will be magic item.
It will go like this:
1. Arcane boots
2. Genius Wand/Glowing Wand
3. Berserkers Fury
4. Concentrated Energy
5. Holy Crystal
6. Blood Wings
Assassin emblem
+The +10% increased on crit damage
+Tenacity or that +5% discount on items
+Impure rage
+You can change your boots to Divine Glaive or other items like Wishing Lantern if you already have Blood Wings.
+You can also just change it to defense item so you will last longer in team fights
try ice queen wand to replace concentrated energy cuz it have better slow to enemies also have magic lifesteal

1. Concentrated energy can increase her magic damage to 12%, increasing her crit damage too.
2. Concentrated energy's hybrid lifesteal works on both her basic attack and enhanced basic attack, increasing her sustainability. (Compared to IQW that only has spell vamp)
3. IQW has slow but it takes time to stack and only provides 30% slow in total so I think the movement speed from blood wings is enough to escape and chase enemies.
But if you really prefer the slow that IQW gives, then its up to you to replace it or not.💃✨

@@guruashura4355 she's lacking compared to other meta mm. And if you don't have front like tanks or tanky fighters who can protect you, it will be hard to play her.
My tip is just ban heroes that you don't want to play against when you're playing Kimmy MM. So you can have an easier match.
You can just also use her in mid with mage build (the one shot build), though the only downside is it will take longer to get all your items because mage build Kimmy have a lil bit pricier build
I've played her using glowing wand, ice queen wand, Feather of Heaven, wishing lantern and magic pen/holy crystal. Normal basic attack hits harder than first skill

First skill damage is composed of 3 things:
35 base damage
+25% total physical atk
+30% total magical atk
Effects: higher lifesteal, good for clearing waves
Basic atk with feather of heaven:
50 base damage (feather of heaven)
+25% total physical atk (passive)
+57.6% total magical atk (27.6% from passive+30% from Feather of heaven)
Effects: lesser lifesteal, single target

As a Kimmy main the key to victory when playing her is good positioning and stayed far in range when attacking. And the most importantly always use the TROOPER SKIN because it gave you this feeling of accuracy of a trooper😂
For my builds and emblems are Hororo chan build and so does the emblems like:

1st teir: The boots one I think it's called swift 😅
2nd teir: The one looks like a clock probably named weapon master I guess😅
Talent: Impure Range (got it🎉).
And oh boy the late game dmg with this build is hella painful especially her ulti where it could delete your ass upto 60% of your HP on the squashy's with no defenses 😂
Kimmy actually took quite a lot of skill and knowing how to position properly to be effective, also sometimes you forget to use her first skill and do basic attacks instead.
Once when play kimmi in early game i stuck in weird position, i run out energy cant finish off enemy marksman despite they got like 3% hp left while i got 2nd skill of cd.. why? because they behind TOWER they know for fact kimmi so bad she can't even hit anything behind tower without energy.
Any other mm in this position gonna score a kill easily
From that we know how bad this mechanic she dont even deal that much damage compared with other mm and how close you need to be with opponent to deal damage
Attack speed should convert to magic power like zhask instead of movement speed
The reason why kimmy got nerfed to oblivion is because of pH players complaining her that she is too op bla bla bla.
Also I remembered there was an adjustment whereby her ultimate will no longer restore energy something like that.
Basically nerfs killed her.
That nerf destroyed my kimmy build since it was very easy to check if I hit an enemy with my ult if I get energy I hit someone then I would follow up with flameshot and kill them
As a kimmy main, i can understand the frustration. She cant do as much dps as other marksman and her aiming thing is difficult. I personally like her cuz I can poke at good range and being mobile but tbh there are be better mm that can do the same (or even more).
I usually go high magic power + crit axe so everything does dmg. I will try to poke at early and playing it safe by preserving my energy solely on enemy heroes. Im genuinely curious on how other people use kimmy.
(Oh, do keep in mind im in legend rank so things might be different for you higher rank ppl)

Ngl to make Kimmy Viable again she should increased her Lifesteal back again or have Slow Reduction on 1st since in most scenarios she just die even againts Tanky Fighters Or Fighters that does not even have a dash and she has Reasonable Counters Like a Burst Mage, Long Range Marksman or Or Dash Assasins and currently it's the Assasin Meta so it would be ass to not give her more survivability.
I'm a Kimmy Main, and sadly, it's true, she's not that strong how she used to be, so moonton should really give her some buffs, however she is still good if you can play her. You can constantly slow them and give them antiheal with the right items, also can she deal a good amount of damage in teamfights, she just has to be played right. And for the switchung between Basic-Attack and 1st, you have to customize the placement of the skills (e.g. switch Basic-Attack with 1.st), and you only use her 1st most of the time, Basic- Attack is more for hitting towers and restoring her energy. But in the end, she really neds some buffs.
It's because u have to build it hybrid, and the critical item you need is just Haas Claw and Berserker Fury, rest just Glowing Wand, Holy Crystal and Divine G.
Im playing her just fine with 33 match and 86% win rate this season with this build.
As for the emblem, Mage emblem with FATAL trait is a must for her.
Then you're good to go.
Nah I also tested a lot of builds on her since I almost always play Kimmy all the time, either as mid or gold laner, (1200+ matcher for now).
So the build I'm using rn is arcane boots, glowing wand, wishing lantern, genius wand, berserker, holy crystal. As for emblem, fatal, weapon master, war cry. As for building sequence, I'd build arcane boots then javelin X2 so U get 21% crit chance from the start. Trust me, U don't need Haas claw,

Been thinking about how bad Kimmy has been for at least two years now.
Back in mid-2018 I remember how powerful she was. They changed her mechanisms and ruined her, just like they did to many heroes.
You have been on the field for so long, and I've been watching for so long too, and I agree. Some things really aren't treated seriously, they go on anyway.
Kimmy used to be my favorite marskman and I hated her revamp, she only needed a buff since she was nerfed a lot back then. Currently is annoying to play with her but with the new items such the revamp of blood wing and glowing wand, she's at least playable
The thing is there is way better m.dmg dealer MM than kimmy, he is Natan. Since Natan released, kimmy pick rate is slowly decreasing.
I just think she needs more mechanics, like whenever her first skill hits, it reduces her second skill's cooldown does giving her more energy for her first and actually making a cycle of regeneration. I just miss the time before her revamp when her first actually has a wider range.
I remember back then physical kimmy hurt so much that you can kill jawhead while he is ulting to you,she can kill anyone before they get too close it was crazy

Kimmy will be revamped as soon as revamped Granger comes to playground, cannot have 2 Kimmy at a time
My take to this is,
Moonton needs to make her first skill a passive skill that you can only use if her energy is full. If her energy runs out she gains (?%) decaying MS for 1 second. Rework her passive so she can't crit anymore but increase her hybrid damage if you build crit on her.
For the Ultimate, Still the same but if it hits explosion creates a burning field that deals magic damage and slows heroes with (?%) for 0.5 seconds.
I always sell boots for wind talker for bonus crit and almost equal movement speed though I only do this after getting berserkers fury (which I get instead of the item that gives you shield I forgor)
If you tried a full burst mage build w lightning truncheon you can literally almost one shot a squishy enemy and her ult only has like 14-10sec cd
The fact they change the first skill from toggle able to whatever that is. I never touched Kimmy again since that.
i can still remember spamming kimmy and getting ws. about 20-30 matches with around 70-80% winrate every game. and it kimmy keeps getting banned. and they nerfed and then this happened to her. :(

This makes me remember when my friend play Kimmy, and his build is Divine Glaive, Blood Wings and full Holy Crystal. I thought he was dumb (which maybe is), but I finally understand when he just snipe enemy with ult the entire game. Pretty much like how you play Novaria.
The old physical kimmy is much better
The 1st skill should just be a toggle like medusa shield in dota 2 and it would make playing her way way easier, so you don't need to adapt changing between your basic attack and 1st skill

Once you can fluently move both the movement and the aiming, and being slippery (constantly moving & dodging, all while hitting most of your shots), she’s a beast..
One trick i learned is to switch the position of skill 1 and skill2.. it’s easier to aim at the skill 2’s position as it’s farther away from the edge of the screen
When she first came out, originally the devs wanted players to build her hybrid phy/magic. But over the years, because of the item changes and nerfs to her, I think even the devs dont know what to do with her anymore 😅
try glowing wand, concentrated energy, wishing lantern, holy crystal, then divine glaive. concentrated boosts the dmg of wishing and glowing by 12% at full stacks, so she starts to melt enemies-
That is my build too but instead of holy crystal, I use ice queen wand. And that build is my favorite build of her. She is good with that build. Crit Kimmy is kinda weak. With this Items, she is going to be op. She can be a tank killer with this items.

Mage build with malefic gun is good for chase Kimmy, IMO. the passive additional range and movement speed is useful
she's actually fine with common mage build, but still lacking damage in early game.
i think she'd be deadly if they changed her to physical. that way she'd have better crits, lifesteal, and damage.
Im pretty sure devs wants kimmy as an early game mm but she got nerfed so hard to the point that she can't even deal enough damage

The only way to keep Kimmy stay on the battlefield as long as you want is to keep your distance from EVEYTHING. She's better at poke rather than being a damaged dealer. She doesn't bode well with you if you play her aggressively. Thats what I learned playing her
I hope they rework her, maybe instead of her relying on energy why not do it as a rage mechanic. The longer she fights the higher the damage of her skill one deals and she either gets pen or lifesteal

I remember the good old days of Kimmy Meta. I used to be a kimmy main back then and still highest number of matches with her. Crit build was a go to at the time. I loved it when enemy heroes chased me, only go get their health bar reduced to dust❤

I never took kimmy seriously as a hero to rank with but i do like her. As for her basic attack, dont *hold* and spam it. I think she was a meta once as support and turtle slaying. With red buff, grazing a hero wud slow it so much u could ballet around the hero while spamming basic attack. I use skill1 the same way too unless I reli need to manual
skill 1 should be her Normal basic attack but montoon will say it overpower and give her tickling basic attack 😢

So, Revamp Granger is basicaly Combination of Old Clint and Kimmy but better.
I played with a friend that use kimmy and it's pretty good choice especially with rank picking hero this season almost tankky heroes every lanes kimmy continuously damage and ability to shot while moving effectively work for tanky heroes like fredirin or terizla
That's why people is making her with magic burst damage, at least she gets to take some damage from ultimate and, if the enemy is not finished yet, then it's when it comes the turn for the basic attacks.
Kimmy basic attack is the most terrifying weakness. I can't bear it, as a mage user. I usually know how to deal every weakness from mage to survive in game, but when play kimmy as mm in main role with magic damage base. Her bassic attack its just useless, hard to aim + little dmg. Event valir bassic attack will deal more dmg while fight Tank
Developer can make Kimmy an early powerhouse I guess. Cause she can never hold up against other mm in late with this skill sets

She can't use warcry neither from basic atk or skill one . If skill 1 was fully termed as basic atk , she could be like change with feather of heaven and golden staff but will lose ice wand effect. Also concerntrated energy is lifesteal item , she will be very op

Critical Kimmy only build Berserkers fury. No need for Hass claws since she doesn't benefit from lifesteal or attack steal.

Glowing wand , ice queen wand , holy crystal , Devine glaive and Berserkers fury . And her damage is actually good. But she is very squishy and her range is not the best. So not anyone can play her. Only the ones who know how to kite and aim well .
Since kimmy is a marksman/mage, and also a hybrid hero, they shouldve just allowed her to benefit from physical pen as well like maybe turning physical to magic stat, or should just allow her skill 1 to utilize real mm items like the dps trinity

so are you suggesting that Kimmy needs a revamp of sorts? i think kinda not because Kimmy is already perfect as she is, she can go Physical DMG and Magic DMG at the same time just like Bane and for me it's kinda unique. Kimmy lacks DMG at the early game? YES! she is very weak when it comes to the early game but when the late game comes and finally got her items if you farm hard enough? that's where Kimmy becomes a late-game monster. she relies on her build and that's why I will always think the perfect build in laning phase before jumping onto battle. for me, I think Magic DMG Kimmy is much more better than Physical DMG Kimmy. so here's my build oh her:
Arcane Boots - for extra Magic Penetration
Holy Crystal - two of which to be exact so you can fully utilize her Ultimate
Ice Magic Wand - for slowness
Glowing Wand - for Magic DMG over time when you cast a skill
Blood Wings - for Shield
emblem set: Mage emblem w/ Rupture, Weapons Master, and then Lethal Ignition
battle spell: Aegis

I'll just use concentrated energy and Holy crystal since she is a keep going damage dealer, and to get a some of those lifesteal, not much but enough for my hp
I think she need crit skilling on her skill 1 and ult to have good physical damage build. Like after getting 40% crit chance, base damage, physical and magic skilling increase by about 1.25 time for skill 1
Drag and shoot is good for poking enemy out of range with skill 1.
For melee enemy and during battle
Tapping the basic button or skill 1 is better because of it's auto aim.
Mage build is way better for Kimmy.
I didn't even build berserker fury, just pure mage build and late game ult hit like train to squishy enemy.

Revamped granger for no reason when he was pretty useable. And devs don't even when focus on heros that are lacking. Kimmy just needs a few percentage dmg buff in her basic attack
*If you aim the joystick, the accuracy will be less but higher dps..*
*If you tap tap the joystick, it will be more accuracy but the dps wil be lower..*
I plays kimmy too but not often, i usually tap2 her 1st skill and basic atk to direction i want to so u dont need to aim it
make her def growth higher, she's way to squishy for a hero who goes on the battlefield head on or just make her range longer.
Old Kimmy was a MENACE back then, I didn't even realize that she got out of the meta and the usable tier when other heroes came out.
she deals contineous damage unlike other mms, That's why slow and movement spd is her go to, and she deals less damage PER bullet, lets say she releases around 4 bullets per second, thats is why her damage is low because she can also move while attacking

When kimmy's basic attack still deals physical damage, her damage can actually reach the number shown on thumbnail. I still remember running bod, malefic, and double berserker. Sadly it hard countered by blade armor and she died almost instantly from BA's counter damage alone due to how absurd her damage is

Somehow She doesn't need a tank to rely on like any other marksman, she can do damage by spamming her ultimate at a safe distance
This is the main reason why I switched to HoK because in MLBB lots of nerfs until the hero is weak or forgotten and there's only specific heroes to use on that situation or on that rank which sucks it limits the players strategic thinking and being creative. The items are fluid which makes tanks soft and killing easy, in conclusion they just made the game even more boring it's just the hype again typical MLBB and then later on and sooner it will be the same af.

Here's my beef with mm Kimmy: Ult is useless. You're gonna use it as a small poke that people will counter with Regenerate.
Ult on magic Kimmy is a whole different thing. It's not only a great ability to ward off enemies but also deals more than half a squishy's hp bar in damage while still making her skills deal silly damage. Also, magic Kimmy needs no boots. Just use Blood Wings.

Moonton nerfed Kimmy so many times that I lost count and now she is belong to the forgotten hero amongst mm. Her build is just confusing now, her role also confusing, she needs at least two tank to back her up and that energy makes her really hard to play, idk why , maybe the devs hate Kimmy or they just forgot that they created Kimmy in the game. Each patch, I never seen Kimmy's name in a buff or nerf list, it always Claude or Clint or other mm beside Kimmy, I just want Justice for my Girl Kimmy man 😢
i thought mage build kimmy was to provide more of a niche utility/support role as u can freely proc ice queen wand for slow, fleeting time for consistent ults, genius wand for reduce mr, and so on?
i get the low damage input but she can provide consistent item passive procs no?
