Jinhao seems to be the fountain pen hotrodder's choice.

This is really similar to how I mod my nibs! Nice results! Let me know if you want any advice on ink flow regulation/ improved stability

I have seen your videos, our modifications looks simular but the focus is different, yours focus on ink flow and what you called overfeed, mine focus on geometry and physics to maximize possible reversible tines spread without plastic deformation , you can try to think about it too to imporve your cuts, and that work and the cost added will be very small even in mass production.
Your overfeed design resulting writes are fantastic, but the materials used and the format of assemble is still not so sound to me in terms of product design.
I have thought about as well how to improve your feeding system, but no sounding solutions came up yet, I will tell you if some come up one day.

@@ArthurSWWong I initially had the same goal, managed to get 16mm of flex but the nib was too sensitive to pressure to be practical: czcams.com/video/FmsYGWB9pUg/video.html
Now I have limited the flex to half that amount, 8mm, but am trying to get the ink flow as consistant as possible, not so dry that it raolroads but not so wet that it pools. I hope to get it cut more precisely in the future, but for now I will continue to use a dremel

@@Flexperiments A "too" sensitive is actually good for training hand's controling ability💪🏻 nothing is too sensitive actually when compaired with chinese writing brush🤣

Even the Jinhao x450 has that feature. But just don't press it too much like my other cousin brother did

No it doesn't, this is a special nib that is designed to do it. If you do it with a regular nib it might damage the nib and stop the ink from flowing.

@@anomalyb7342 Ok, because my friend uses that and he presses it so I thought it could flex.

modified x159 nib, which is the same as which on the 9019

Interesting. How did you modify it?

@@ycyfugiggu I don't think I have used a proper / easy to control / stable / cost efficient / time efficient / effort efficient technique to achieve what you see now 🤣 I did that with limited tools that I had, just not a recomandable experience in fact🥲
what I recomand is to cut the lines by very powerful and programmable laser cutting machine, but the cost and availablility is so extreme.
