- (Joe) We’ve been married for about a year in a half. To be honest, after I asked Alena to marry me it hasn’t been a smooth ride at all. Joining our two very different lives and personalities under one house really tested us and put us in tiresome situations in our relationship. Alena’s relentless attitude to perfect and my constant desire to understand her equips us with double edged swords that too often seek out answers to our struggles from within.
