@@Mirosuperhero if you're having trouble beating your friend try something that moves the ball a lot like a Castro. Id also say you could try a fake because if they are focused on the ball their peripherals will see your foot. Another tip that helps me beat people a lot is even the best defenders in the world have a moment where their feet set if you can find that moment and get the ball past at it you'll get by every time.
Actually focus on the ball and the pelvic region. The ball for obvious reasons, the pelvic region for assessing any shifts in the center of gravity. And when attacking try to get him off his toes, if he shifts his position to the center of his feet or his heels youve got him, recovering from that position is a pain.
Actually you should Foucas on the player because if they can’t around u they have no one to pass it too so if you block the player they have no opportunity to score but if you just try and stab at the ball they will pull it back and go right around you at least that’s what my travel coach told me
Thank you so much I have a soccer competition next month and I just saw your video so I decided to try it out and let me tell you I am starting to get it ❤❤❤ Ty 😮😊🎉
There is usually no need to do so many step overs if you use your upper body well. It all comes down to making the defender take a wrong shift of weight or step.
@@jojojonathan2068 it's not that hard to defend it, when they're doing crossovers, your not supposed to cut in right away, keep presuring them and make them go to a corner and cut in
also, it doesnt have to be both feet around the ball always. the point of this trick is to fake out the defender which way you will go. so if every time you do the trick its always the same both legs around all the time.

for all of those hating, theyre also called scissors, the difference is that stepovers have a body feint and scissors are pure agility or just a substitute for a fake cut
As a defender l have master the skills of keeping my eyes on the ball, being patient because l’m waiting for you to make a mistake. Stand back, and use both my feet to take the ball away, keep my legs not wide open to get meg but a little close to actually stop the opponent.
Most important is to change the rythme. If you're like in this video, you'll get through the défenseur once or twice. If you slow down and accelerate your technique at the last moment, the defender will never get the ball
Nope. Add a drop shoulder or feint on the second step over. The first one has to be a regular premature-like step over. That’s how you sell it to a very experienced or averagely skilled defender.
It's a devastating skill if you add shoulder drop or body feint.
Body feints itself is godly, im sure you’ve seen how Messi uses it

In my humble opinion, a body feint is more efficient than step overs
after a few months, I finally mastered step 1! See me at the next world cup!!!!
for the people saying its not scissors: step over is when your feet step over the ball his feet is going around the ball which is called scissors.
to all the people saying it's a step-over this one is called scissors smh the inverted version is step-over

as a defender i do the same thing that Ramos and PEPE do in this situation
This is a move every football/soccer player should know how to do. After you know how to do it master it in game with no fear.

You have to body fake to do the skill better against the defender
This fails 90% of the time. Player comes straight at you and takes the ball
