How To Measure Thyroid On Ultrasound | Length, Width, AP Depth & Volume Measurements USG
Isthmus Depth: Less than 0.5 cm (approximately)
AP Depth (Lobe): Less than 2 cm (approximately)
Length (Lobe): 4-7 cm (approximately)
Width: 2.5 cm (approximately)
Lobe Volume (Female): 10-15ml
Lobe Volume (Male): 12-18ml
Thyroid Volume = Volume of Left Lobe + Volume of Right Lobe
Example: 13 (Lt Lobe) + 14 (Rt Lobe) = 27ml

Doesn’t trans must be measured Anterior to posterior Right left , and sag plane medial to lateral and superior to inferior ? Please explain
