All these granular processors out there now, makes you wonder... so many exciting options out there now! Sometimes a module just speaks to you, for whatever reason... Make Noise Morphagene was probably what got me excited about plunging into Eurorack (and I know I am not the only one). It is an amazing module and for years has been essential to all my synthesizer music explorations. Mangrove was another one, and it is rather temperamental (tracking - on mine anyway, is rather limited, but when it clicks it is just so sweet and thick and creamy but with a nice bite). Just friends is another good example, Rings in its own way ( I was initially very drawn to Mutable Elements ) Qu-bit Synapse was also another one, but it has found less time racked even though you can do very cool things when you plan a patch around it. When I caught wind of Cornflakes, I felt I had to have it, and when an opportunity came I had to jump on it. Mojave coming out makes me take another very close look at it, and here is a track using it.
    Major players in this patch:
    Mutable Instruments RINGS and BEADS
    Blukac ENDLESS PROCESSOR
Mannequins JUST FRIENDS and THREE SISTERS LINKED FILTERS
    Strymon MAGNETO

Got this incoming, love how hands-on it seems

It is very straightforward (for the most part) and thus very hands on! Would love to hear what you think of it once you have wiggled with it for a bit.

@@RPGould3 just been sitting for 30 min but im blown away, mostly of the ease of use aspect. Easy to save, load and the controls are great and results are sounding great! Harmony feature seems great too. This is kinda the usage i always wanted from Clouds or like Morphagene but always found those to be too convoluted. Im actually stoked!

Well Mr Cornflakes (or it is Ms?), I didn’t think I needed a Mojave, but when my Nebulae v2 let me down, I bought one almost as a stopgap- and i’m not sorry that I did.

MI Clouds back in the days was the "one" that brought me into the modular scene. I was lucky and got my hands on 2 of the original modules. Even got my hands on Beads before Émilie Gillet closed down her brand. Morphagene has also been a special module to me when it comes to grains. Cheers :)

Mutable Instruments overall is a very special set of instruments... which I had bought and original Marbles instead of a clone, but at the time wasn't exactly sure what marbles did exactly (i.e. why it was called a 'sampler')... Beads is a great module, use it all the time!

Did not know this module, the granular textures it produces are great! I use Beads a lot in my music, I was also thinking if Mojave would replace that module, but I love Beads too much :)

The sound fidelity is definitely a shining point of this module, and the harmonize and distribute controls add some uniqueness to it. I guess the biggest difference in approach is that this works (at least at its first level) as traditional looper in how you set sample length and overdubs.... Beads is great, though.

My un-opinion, thinks qu bit overdo a lot of their effects modules. Ymmv... but the instruo arbhar is a real sweet granular powerhouse, if you still looking to scratch an itch! x

Interesting.... would be curious to hear what you mean exactly by that... I only have the Synapse from Qu-bit, and it would be amazing if it were a few HP smaller... but that is not an effect module. The Arbhar has been on my radar for quite a while, I have the Harmonaig and the Saïch which I fall in an out of love with, and then at one point I was convinced that what I wanted was the Lúbadh... but might watch another couple of videos on the Arbhar.

Hey R.P.G., I bought Tempi in a bundle deal a very long time ago, and I'm just now looking at it closely. I started reading the manual this morning and I'm overwhelmed and surprised by Tempi's complexity. I know you use this module often. Care to share how you use it, or any tips/tricks?

Tempi is one of my favourite modules. And it is actually quite deep, as you have noted. However what I like about it is the immediacy of having related tempos available at the touch of finger, so I end up using it in a very simple way. I normally just feed it a master clock form some other part of the patch and use it as clock divider and multiplier. I like how you can mute channels very easily, and also use the mod input to switch channels around. I think there are indeed interesting ways to use complex time changes and modulation in music, and while some people master this and I think we all experiment in this way from time to time, I believe simplicity is often the most interesting creative path, as in the beautiful cliché less is is more.
