    I've just been at a really great gig (Onipa [UK]) and even still have half a pint from the venue that's right near my gaff. So I'm sat down with a drink and just sort of absent mindedly clicked on your video.
    It just felt like a close buddy showing me what the op 1 is about. Super relaxed. Very enjoyable. I'm not bored by any selling point nonesense. Just listening to some music nerd talking about a thing they like, which is what I'm all about.
    Cheers buddy.

    Love my OP-1 the chords sound amazing and fun sequencers and cool graphic animations. Best portable synth.

    This is kinda weird but we seem to be in some sort of weird sync, haha! I've had the OP-1 for about 8 years and I just bought a pico input to incorporate it with my modular (for exactly the same reasons as you)! Also, I got the Data Bender around just the same time you did :D Keep it up mate, I really like the stuff you put out!

    5:40 Did you just do the Brian Eno Windows 95 startup chime by accident? That would be amazing if true.
    Also, how come this video has so little views? Come on, Algorithm, do your job!

    How do you handle clocking between your OP-1, eurorack, and sp-404?

    • @TheUnperson
      @TheUnperson  Před rokem

      I have everything at the same bpm and just hit play in time (hopefully! :D) The eurorack bpm is set by Pam’s

    Just ran across your channel. Inspiring videos ! Where do you find your samples? (Other than the ones you create yourself. Any suggested sample packs?

    • @TheUnperson
      @TheUnperson  Před 2 lety +2

      Cheers Bob! I typically get the sounds from VSTs and my own synths/experiments. I'm currently working on a website where I can upload sample packs and presets, etc. Should be up n running soon!

    You’re making me wonder if I should’ve gotten this instead of the MPC. It was definitely something I considered the price is a little bit much though. Do you finish tracks in this or do you run it through a daw or something? Also I was hoping to see a little bit more detail on exactly how you use it with eurorack. Anyways great video and very inspiring as usual 😎👍

    • @TheUnperson
      @TheUnperson  Před 3 lety

      Oh man... I reallly want an MPC! I think there's pros and cons to both...I want both lol I don't really write/finish tracks from the OP1. I mainly use it for live jams/improv kinda thing.

    Same idea here, pairing the op with a 2600, but how do you get those clean sounds???... Do you use any kind of DI for the OP? Mine is always very noisy so I can't use it through a PA!!!

    • @TheUnperson
      @TheUnperson  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi there, I do sometimes experience a bit of white noise but nothing too bad! Are you connecting it with usb because that can create issues. But yea, mine is naturally pretty clean sounding!

    • @optimistaoptimismo
      @optimistaoptimismo Před 2 lety

      @@TheUnperson No USB, I’ve tried DIs to PA, without Drive and no effects on, but it still remains noisy. Could be my unit, but I won’t take it to live shows cause with the amplification the noize goes crazy.
