Congratulations on passing the 2391, as far as I know it is still a level 3 achievement (equal to approx 2 A levels) and you should be justly proud!
Thank you Norman, yes you're correct in that it's a level 3 course, I could never get GCSE's when I was younger let alone A Levels
Just done the 2391 last week, agree with you fully regarding the practicle exam, stress central!!!!! Examiner all over me like a rash. He'd ask constantly "Why are you doing that?". I'd give an answer and then he'd say "OK, carry on......". It was like this all though the test. I must have done something right - I passed. I'm glad don't have to do that again.
👍👍👍⚡️⚡️⚡️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Well done and congratulations Doc top man
Cheers Stephen 👍
Old vid to comment on but, just done the 2391, enjoyed it, nothing out the ordinary.
Only thing that got me sweating was the paperwork at the end of the practical exam😂 fortunately i didn't have someone breathing down my neck a lot!
Congrats on the pass 😎
Well done Doc!!
Got my 18th edition next month 😳
Cheers Andy and good luck, I remember my 18th edition you have to be so quick through the regs 👍
Did my electric vehicle charging course there in February in portishead.
Well done
Cheers Richard 👍
I did the Napit 2 day assessment course and with the aim to do the 2391 at a later date. When I went to book it up they said the 2 day assessment is the same but I feel having the 2931 qualification would look better on CVs
Congratulations, sorry for the late response ive been working away. Have my 2391-52 test booked in june. What sort of questions did they ask you in the written test. Great video as usual 👌
Hi Joshy, thanks for the comment.
To be honest I can't remember.
But I remembered using a mock exam tester here:

Click on the 2391-52 exam.
Good luck

May I ask a question.. How can you be registered with a registered body without having the 2391! I do have my level 3 qualifications (18th edition & 2391)but not being able to get myself registered due to lack of qualifications! Any advise please.
I think you may be referring to the CPS (competent persons scheme.) What you need to do is contact NAPIT, NECIEC etc, They will advise you of how to achieve registration. Go for it!
You didn't need the 2391 at the time, 2392 was enough to register with a self cert scheme,( before the changes last year). You needed the 2391 to do periodic inspections.
I had 3 years electrical installation experience when I registered and had 2365 level 2 & 3 & 18th edition regs, they were happy with that for 3 years more but on my last CPS inspection they wanted me to have the 2391 before my next CPS inspection otherwise they wouldn't register me for EICR's
You can't unfortunately unless you do the experience workers route that will entail the NVQ. Many people made sure they registered before the cut off point in Sept last year and those who did, now have grandfather rights.
Well done, at least it is one of those exams (unlike the regs) that you only need to do once. How come you had to go all the way down there to do it?
It was either Bristol or Mansfield, there's nothing in Mansfield so I went for Bristol
@@DoctorElectricCZcams Howcome not in Northampton or was this an x days course by NAPIT?
@@anthonybragg didn't find any courses in Northampton and yes it was a NAPIT course
