Jalen Brunson is one of the best guards in the league. His incredible offensive output combined with his elite footwork and playmaking has elevated the New York Knicks near the top of the East standings. Along with that, Brunson has gotten several endorsements for All NBA and even some MVP buzz. Some current and former players saw this coming but most seemed to be in awe at the leap Brunson has taken over the recent years. However, there are a few dissenters in the mix who believe Brunson’s attributes will hold him back from being a lead guard on a championship team.

The world will recognize the greatness of Jalen Brunson. This is the MVP to me. Say, what you want. But all the picked candidates before the season began are based on the media. They spend all season promoting the picks they chose at the beginning of the season. However, not one of them are playing with less talent and willing his team to not just win, but his I'm going to go off you have to keep up if you want to win approach. Is not only getting wins but making players better. He's not trying to do everything alone for stats. He's challenging his teammates to keep up. That's a leader, that's a winner, that's an MVP.
I don’t know about this year, but if you give the Knicks one more offseason to build around him he could have a legit shot next year.

What they think of him now. Before, when the Knicks got him, the Knicks was a joke to do that, Brunson was not Good enough for the money. People now riding his pole so hard.
