Gronk in his prime was one of the most dominant offensive players to ever play. Dude could run like a power back, catch like a hof receiver, and block like a lineman. The league is a little darker without him, hell of a career see ya in Canton big man!!

The only argument for any other TE is how long they did it. But being less great for longer doesn't make you the GOAT. Gronk is the GOAT for TEs because he had the stats and the presence.
Yeah for sure. Everyone was diving at his knees so he either took a hard knee shot or got flipped onto his back/neck. Every time he went down you had to hold your breath. People like to say he was fragile because of his injuries, but I don't think there's a player that could walk away from all the hits he took without being hurt.
As soon as I heard the news that gronk retired, I thought, "Joseph Vincent is boutta make a HELL of a video."
It's hard to believe his career is over, and even though I am not a Patriots fan it was an absolute pleasure to watch him play the game! What an incredible talent!

@@hawk0302 he's a slot receiver, who was mostly a special teamer when he was stuck behind Wes Welker for his first few years. once he became a starter, he's had to come back from 2 ACL tears. So yes his reg season numbers aren't the greatest, but I would say his playoff stats makes up for it.

We in New England took this monster for granted, this year our offense struggled without him, but I'm glad he was able to WALK away from the game after all this hits he would take and those headshots he would get.

Gronk is the most talented to have played, his career was unfortunately cut short due to injury, but he's top three regardless with Shapre and Gonzales.

I've been a Pats fan since 1994, and I'm thrilled Gronk is retiring. Not because I feel like he's washed up or can't play or anything but because I care about the health and well being of my team's players. I didn't want to see Gronk play again and continue to injure himself. He did MORE than enough for this franchise. Rest easy big man, take that money, go get yourself some sexy ladies and enjoy the rest of your life.
Please give us a full career retrospective on gronk, JV. I can’t watch anyone else’s tribute or highlights until it drops
