Megan don't sell yourself short. You were a Mom and wife at 24 and you did the best you could and that's okay. Hindsight is 2020 and life is life. No matter the age or stage of life, it was going to be challenging. You did what you wanted to do. Take your lessons and your success and move forward. You're good!!!
Agreed. There are people in similar places that have given up on themselves. Sometimes the mind plays tricks, but when we recognize our space and what God is comfortable with, we have a share responsibility that is much greater. Good job!

Biblically, boys weren't considered old enough to fight in war until they were 20 years old. Jesus didn't start his ministry until his 30s. I hope that gives some perspective. I believe that the first 30 years of our lives is for preparation, learning, and building a firm foundation in the Lord.
Jesus didn't start his journey until thirty because all priests start priesthood at 30.

One of the many things I truly respect about Megan Ashley is that you can tell she really thinks about what she’s saying before she says it. And I appreciate that. Because it is so easy for us to just say what we want, how we want, etc. but to really be aware of what you’re saying is not a trait lot of people carry.

I was introduced to you when Tony visited your last podcast. I could tell you were really thoughtful and intentional with your words which reflects what you expressed in this episode, that you understand the weight of your platform and the ways in which you can influence and inspire others. I could never finish another episode after Tony's because of all the cursing and careless behavior from the other host and subsequent guests. Soon after, you created this podcast and I can tell you this is ordained. I have watched every episode and was even waiting for this one. We know you are still learning and growing in Christ and that is okay. Let us take the journey with you.
I so can relate. I wanted or thought I wanted kids and marriage so bad when I was young so I did that with no understanding of what it takes to be a mother or a wife. I thank God for healing and restoration. I pray that my adult kids can forgive me for not having the tools that I needed to be a better mother. Today God is my everything ❤

Whew! This episode was deep and came with so much revelation. God said be fruitful and multiply, and the enemies attack against humanity is this perversion that leads to the division of men and women. Marriage rate low. Child bearing rates dropping. What does this all ultimately mean? We are not being who God created us to be. 🤯🤯

I just feel like him saying it’s because they want another man, dilutes where he could go with what he’s saying. It flattens it.
Because the male-for-male performance is so much more robust than merely “they go both ways”.
I need him to expand his mind to see the depths of what is really happening between men. It’s not merely sexual desire. That’s not even the core of it.
What would you say it is then? If you are a male performing for male applause at the expense of protecting and loving your woman; what is the purpose of this thought process?
I agree. That can be the case for some but most it’s more mental/emotional. Daddy issues, authority issues, overcompensating for insecurities, trauma. hate for women/mothers/sisters/exes. And the also self disdain or lack of self worth.

Meg, we truly have the same story. I graduated HS in June and married in December. Then pregnant shortly after.
I now understand why I was (blindly) waiting to watch this. I wasn't ready. I'm in a place in my life that I know I'm being called and some of the decisions that I have to make are super hard and so scary. Its time though. Thank you thank you for speaking on double minded-ness. because you truly cannot have your cake and eat it too. Its Gods way or no way. Period.
