Which church are true according to the Bible in this world? Because many churches are not true according to the Bible, Mathew 7;21-23,1jonh 4:1,Roman's 10:1-3.
@@vusimngomezulu2500 I feel this interview wasn't about church it was about the health of men, spiritually, physically and mentally.
I’m going back
I can tell that this pastor is nothing but a fast, slick talking cheat.
This is how FATHER'S ARE SUPPOSE TO TALK TO SONS!! THIS WAS AMAZING!!❤
Agreed 💯
Men cheat because they want to cheat I'm 67 years old I'm tired people think they know people they need clean there own house before going someone else house this poeple problem even the Devil can stand in the pull pit my opinion I don't trust anyone now day my opinion
I must admit this is probably my favorite episode! That level of accountability from a pastor is truly something AMAZING!
Yes first episode I watched in its entirety!
Mine too!
I agree.
I concur!
Another person we are letting lead us in the wrong directions.
This is by far one of the most HONEST conversations I’ve ever heard. As a woman, we often don’t get to see men be this transparent or vulnerable. More conversations like this are needed both for men and women.
I completely agree with you. Truly respect the honesty, transparency and accountability expressed on this podcast.
Please allow the conversations to continue.
Absolutely…facts
I was really in tuned with this conversation and really appreciated it❤
“ The practice of monogamy is NOT having a back up plan. I AM ALL IN!” 😩😩😩😩😩😩 This conversation is so needed!
Great job gentlemen! I'm listening to this podcast as a 39 year old man in a beautiful 11 year marriage - and I still learn daily! There were gems dropped that add value to single men and those who are married. I love how Dr. Bryant shared that he is operating in grace but that favor trumps grace. And if he was married, that favor would propel him to even greater heights! #TeamMarriage
THAT! PART, FAVOR!
I agree 100%. Gems dropped for both single men and married men
Tell the young men the truth. Thank you Pastor Bryant.
Old men too, all men!
💯💯💯
I started watching skeptical cause of Jamal's past...I LOVED THIS!!!!! Jamal was spot on as always. Learnt a lesson today...never dismiss anyone. God still uses us flawed humans. Excellent episode.
Yessssss same here, but he has matured
Ditto! But i enjoyed it and have a new respect for him.
Absolutely, Jamal is very transparent and I think it’s great for men to be transparent in their experiences.
Don’t be surprised, who is perfect? What we need is transparency!
I almost scrolled on by. Glad I listened to this. He really is always amazing. Major Resoect Now!!!!
This conversation needs to be heard by EVERYONE!!! Pastor brought breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks!!!
EVERY MAN needs to listen to this episode!!! I have NEVER heard any man break things down like Pastor Bryant did here!
This show is truly a blessing 🙏
People hate Jamal because he hasn’t been the “perfect pastor” but that’s actually why I rock with him. He’s messed up but he definitely knows what he’s talking about because of it. Great conversation right here🙏🏾
He has an open marriage lol , where pastors do that at.
Get in your Bible and stop defending heretics
Man Jamal is the example of what the word calls a false teacher.
I must admit, I've been giving Pastor Bryant the side eye since his appearance on Bravo, and his break up with Tweet. After listening to this episode and hearing his wise words on the value of marriage, the importance of giving grace to others has been made apparent. Pastor Bryant has an incredible gift. May the three of you continue to inspire and help guide others towards greatness.
Same here!!! I almost didn't watch it b/c of that. I guess that's why it's so important for us to "allow ppl their process" without tossing them to the wolves. ~In Sisterhood
As a married man you can never stop growing and learning. I definitely wanted and needed to hear this
OMG please bring him back to address us Ladies as well. i loved every bit of this 💯💯
Havent been a fan of Pastor Bryant, but this was a thoughtful conversation. Excellent guidance, great wisdom. Appears he's had some time to think things through...
Thanks for being OPEN to this conversation.
Me either, but the conversation was good. He stays in controversy, though.
This is why he’s the GOAT.. love him or hate him. He’s the truth. I don’t need to be a fan. I just need to hear the truth. Keep doing great things Pastor Bryant
Hope it's real. Works beat words. Too many laughs for me.
You wasn’t ready to get married! Most women put pressure on us to marry them, especially after they gave us sex for so many years. We both probably wasn’t ready but she was no matter what!
This was an incredible conversation! I have learned so much as a 51 yrs old woman. I now better understand my sons behaviors. I facilitate a male discussion group with men and young men 21-31. I am really considering playing this video to at a meeting to foster discussion.
That would be amazing. Every man on earth needs to see this video.
My feelings about Pastor Jamal Bryant have been a mix of admiration and frustration since my time at EMPOWERMENT TEMPLE. He possesses a remarkable eloquence and a true knack for articulating complex ideas with compelling examples. After watching this interview…my admiration for him has been reignited, as his wisdom and truths shone through once again❤
Love this for you! He’s a great Pastor and I’m happy to be a member at his church in Atlanta.
He gutted himself in this interview. This is a man that through his life experiences paid for that WISDOM. That was some BOUGHT SENSE HE gave us that was EXPENSIVE!!!!
It was so refreshing to see and hear a man admit his failures and short comings, however got back up and keep pushing. Guys this was brilliant love this podcast...game for real, healing for our brothers. Thanks Tysean & Ryan much love to you both❤
Stop approving theses black preacher for there dirty nasty rotten ways that's not of God
I heard that, but I also heard that unfortunately many women have extremely LOW standards and self-esteem to allow themselves to be available to a man who has made no commitment and is only available at HIS convenience.
This episode was so good. I stopped listening to Jamal Bryant but today his level of transparency was a breath of fresh air. This was a powerful episode. Please have a part 2 to this!
You men sat quietly and absorbed what he was teaching. No blaring sounds. No curse words. Love this for y’all.
Absolutely the best conversation! Dr. Jamal Bryant dropping facts and life lessons. When will he be back on?
ABSOLUTELY! But we had to do this one for the fellas! It was needed!
Praise God! Every man needs to hear this. Nothing but wisdom was poured out in this episode🙏🏽
And every women too! #wisdom
He's not credible

I found it interesting that he spoke about a topic of relationships but never put God into his conversation as the main focal point of relationships.

This should be viral!!!!!! Men and women alike need this! The culture needs this! I internalized so much in my last relationship ending but this put so much into perspective. Praying for healing for all. Thank you! 🤎
THIS has been the most profound piece I’ve seen in these CZcams streets in a long time. I was not a fan of Pastor Bryant but I respect him because he’s SO accountable and honest. He’s a wise man.
This was SO good. Having gotten married young (compared to most today) and 27 years in, both hubby and I completely agree with the Pastor.
This convo with PJB was 🔥🔥🔥. Much respect! I’ve not been a fan of Pastor Jamal, but I must admit the brotha dropped some gems and he was transparent enough to show us that pastoring is what he does, but it’s not all of who he is. He’s a fallible & fallen man like all of us & he has struggles and weaknesses. Good job men! Keep it up!!😎💯
Today is September 19,2023...I am seriously Listening to the Conversation and I feel this is not only for the Man but it speaks to me as a Woman.. Thank you for having Pastor as a guests 🙏
I am not even half way through this and I am blown away. So many truths here. This is a very real conversation. Big ups to Pastor Jamal
@@kimberleyrobinson4297 100% and I’m here for it
When Pastor said the greatest gateway to sin is boredom, I felt that. As a woman, I've always felt that if my man isnt challenging me, holding me accountable for my shortcomings or having transparent and honest communication with me - i instantly become bored. I have to remember most people, (not even just men) have a hard time with that level of openness. Keeping myself busy by focusing on my own personal goals and aspirations have helped me combat boredom but if I'm being honest, it can be a challenge. In most cases, one person is always further along in their personal development. It takes a different type of love to have the patience and the understanding to completed this. For me, this is where having a solid foundation as friends come into play. When you have that solid foundation to your relationship, it becomes easier to allow your partner to grow without the boredom kicking in.
Great conversation family ❤️
Which person is the one who is furthest in their personal development? The one who does not actively challenge the other person? Or the one who often gets bored? Or none of the above? I’m just curious as this is an interesting conversation
@@tchoopee5143 This is such a great question!! To answer this, I believe that it is not a matter of who is further along at that point, but recognizing that growth is continuous and that in a union each individual must take responsibility for their own actions and ask themselves the hard questions such as "Why am I bored? What's the trigger within myself that's keeping me bored? How can I communicate this with my partner and work on this so that we both can grow?"
If the partnership is worth the investment, we must communicate and be patient throughout the growing process. It's a never ending one, but growing and shifting through each transformation within our relationships is what makes the connection worthy and valuable.
Thank you so much for challenging this perspective ❤️✨
More transparent and honest conversations like this needed. Thanks Dr. Bryant.
💯
Agreed!!!
This man in my opinion ain’t credible to be telling anyone anything. The things he’s said and done has been anything but biblical!
I know this is for the men, but I had to ease drop. This episode blessed my heart. I am also a divorcee and it gave me a lot of understanding, healing and acceptance by just listening to you men. I appreciate the authenticity of all 3 men and Dr Jamal coaching you two young men by changing your mind sets and moving forward for the betterment of your future!
What's sold me on this interview was the fact that many of the points he made I concluded on my own just observing the behaviors of men. But to have him confirm it as a MAN and then as a pastor he did what most pastors do NOT do and that is he was TRANSPARENT, displayed his humanity, and owned the errors from his past and did so with real empathy. NO and I mean NO men out here are keeping it THIS REAL. I don't care what Dr Jamal's were in his past he clearly has transformed and has been made new again. Kudos Master Teacher...Kudos to the podcasts hosts for sharing this platform. Its sooo so needed💯🎯💯
THIS was ABSOLUTELY hard hitting, transformative and overflowing with transparency . I sincerely believe this platform has the content to transform and save our community.
As a relatively new sub and member I am so grateful for this channel and content.
Thanks for routing for us! We appreciate you, BIG TIME.
Top tier episode. I appreciate y’all fellas consistently bringing the community value through these thoughtful, intentional, and honest conversations. 🙏🏾⚡️💪🏾
What's good, Will! We appreciate you.
This is the BEST message I’ve ever heard Dr. Bryant speak!!! Honesty can’t be beat!!! Thank you!!!!! 🎉
I second that❤
This has been so informative not only for the men but a deeper look into a man’s mentality as a woman! I’ve never been a big fan of pastor Jamal but his grace and repentance and accountability and communication I mean compassion was amazing !
This was INCREDIBLE!!! If I had a son, I would show this to him
Please share! We appreciate you
Dr Jamal has such a brilliant mind! The man is filled with so much wisdom and he’s so self aware - an unexamined life is not worth living

Awww ❤
All I can say is THANK YOU PASTOR BRYANT. THIS IS THE REALEST INTERVIEW FROM A MALE THAT I HAVE LISTENED TO IN A LONG TIME.
Jamal is finally speaking from his experience. Wisdom at its finest. I've always admired this mans teaching,...this is some Grown Man intellect
What’s crazy is Dr Bryant has been popping up on my fyp and I REFUSED to watch, when my dad watches his sermons.. I’m like “ how could you take the guidance of a man who cheats on his wife and you’re a married man”…
And that was before I developed my own intimate relationship with God and understanding. I’m very happy that I watched this conversation, and I love the accountability on his end.
🗣️@ 59 yrs young…I ❤️ this real talk by a real man…I pray old school og’s listen and learn something from this young man…💯🎯
Maaan, I've been watching this channel on and off for about a year; never subscribed. THIS was the best episode I've ever seen on the channel. PLEASE bring DR. JAMAL BRYANT back 🙏🏽 This was soooo good that I am about to watch it again!!! God, please let men live and operate in this wisdom. 🙏🏽 Because of this episode, I am finally going to subscribe‼️ EVERY single man needs to see this. ❤🙌🏽👏🏽 I was glued from start to finish!!
Whew!! Pastor Bryant is dropping so much wisdom and guidance! It’s giving goosebumps. We are in dire need of elders to impart this wisdom and values. We must restore the black family structure and sense of community. Teach the young men, sir! 💎✨
Omg, when I say I have a newfound respect for Pastor Bryant. This, by far, was the most informative podcast show. I've seen. The things Pastor Bryant spoke on, Omg, our black men need to really heal, redo, and rethink when it comes to relationships. Thank you so much, Pastor Bryant, for the breakdown and the wisdom.
PS Pastor Bryant I had never been judgmental of you no matter what anyone said about you but this is the first time I sit still and listen to what you say and it's a blessing so from this point I see your realness stay on this path because so many young men have not been taught this part of manhood
This was a gamechanger for your show! Totally took the conversations and direction to a whole nother level! Thank God for men like Jamal who don't mind being transparent and sharing hard truths about himself and his own experiences and going deeper then surface level for our young men and womens! All Glory and honor to God!
This entire interview was a MASTERCLASS 💯💎
I'm a woman, but this podcast has been a blessing to me! Thank you pastor for your transparency and accountability. Thank you Hardly for continuing to bring great content.
A great listen. I was skeptical but his personal accountability was amazing and I appreciate it so much.
Damn! As a wife, I am convicted to lift my husband up and give him encouragement and support to do what he does for this family. I know I add value, and I also know I am the key to his well-being. I have to be grounded to make sure he is grounded. Thank you, Pastor Bryant from Mrs. Bryant (my husband is a Bryant, no relation).
That’s my Pastor!!! 👌🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I never miss a Sunday! Pastor Bryant Always keeps it Authentic! I love how he takes accountability about his cheating many men can learn from this! His level of knowledge and openness has made him one of the best in preaching and teaching! Lessons Learned!! We need a Part 2 !!!!
Pastor Jamal is so correct. These brothers don't want to put the work in for relationships. They want something for nothing. Then when us women won't go for it, they get upset and move on to someone else. It's only when they are old and sick on their deathbed is when they come around. By that time it's too late.
Thank you Dr. Bryant for illustrating healthy accountability 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
As a SINGLE, DIVORCED WOMAN, this episode was very enlightening for me! Now I have the tools to understand what is really happening with our black men these days. I must the admit, the dating pool is a little tainted but this could be from a lack of knowledge and information within our black community. Unhealed traumas/hurts and the inability to be accountable within our black community were a few things that were eye opening for me. Pastor Bryant really broke it down! I have encountered so many things while dating that has made to want to be complacent with my singleness. Not being willing to compromise my values and sugarcoat with my partner were issues in my past relationships. Now I know that when a man is truly committed, he will do the work…everything else is an excuse and the inability to be accountable for himself. I throughly enjoyed this conversation!
This literally made me respect him so much more. The level of accountability, unmatched!
My 2023 major deposits are coming weekly from Pastor Jamal Bryant and the Hardly Initiated podcasts. Truly, you all are directing the Black community (men, women and children) back on the healthy family track God's way. You are providing healing, truth and vitally necessary insight. Thank you
Thank you, Antoinette!
This was so insightful, especially the part about closure for men. What he said about convenience and toleration blew my mind. It all was so deep and answered several questions I have had for at least 20 years. Practice monogamy by not having options, be all the way in...
So much y'all. Thank you Pastor
Wow! “I am half my capacity single” what a moment of transparency …
perhaps thats why the enemy attacks marriages and families so hard …
This is so, so refreshing guys. Thank you Pastor Bryant. I see a brand new wholesome man in Pastor Bryant, and his outlook Christianity and Christian Marriage is on a whole new level. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤. No promises but I might be joining this channel in future ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing conversation! We NEED more from Pastor Bryant. His honesty is so appreciated, and his point of view was delivered in the best way ever told/heard
I love Dr. Jamal Bryant - although dissapointed with his infidelity and divorce, he remains one of the very few pastors that I respect and listen to. He is real, genuine and has his heart in the right place. More power to him. Please, bring him back for another episode - in short make him a regular guest on your podcast.🤗
Thanks for the honesty. The interview proved what women have finally figured out. Most Black single men not serious about marriage and family. Most Black men don’t understand legacy and generational wealth and strong family values and keeping their wives, children and money strong. This is why many black women are so frustrated and heartbroken and dating other races of men or have given up on finding a good black man and became lesbian or celibate, or resigned to being without a man and doing motherhood and everything on their own. So sad. Hope things get better in our community. Many women realize adultery is common. Hate Pastor Bryant didn’t get his ex-wife Gizelle back. He has 3 beautiful daughters and pray they don’t get mistreated, disrespected and cheated on by black men. 😊❤
This conversation was much better than the other one on this topic. This guest acknowledged his past and took accountability instead of explaining why he did it. He gave nuggets to others and sound advice. The other guest although he stated he didnt blame his ex-wife, he really did but it was hidden because he was pandering for the next. Jamal Bryant was sound and just talked from experience and gave wisdom on how to proceed
Amen, weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.!!! To be sober and focused, accountable are moral standards that need to be taught. I appreciate this Pastor!!! Bring him back, I will listen.
Pastor Bryant brought the word and we weren't even in church.
I'm so glad he kept it 1000% real and didn't mince words. He is such a great teacher.
Please invite him back, fast!🎉❤
Just heard another Pastor speak on commitment this week. This is so encouraging to hear twice from a male in a position of leadership shepherding a flock. You know you are committed when you make up your mind that there is no other choice; there is no plan B.
Okay y’all I’m going to give this a 10+ they touched on everything that a woman always wondered and questioned! Thank you!
Wow!! Such an enlightening and refreshing conversation with Dr. Jamal Bryant. He articulates so well, these points: singleness, the blessings and benefits of marriage, family, relationships, respect, monogamy. the healing process… The accountability, knowledge, wisdom and transparency👍
There’s always a lot to learn whenever he speaks. God bless and keep you sir🙏🏾
This conversation blessed my life! As a woman I truly got some great takeaways from Dr. Bryant that help me understand how men think and process! I love Dr. Bryant’s transparency! Best show ever!!!
Ijs!!!!! Dr. Bryant be preaching when he isn’t trying - I’m the wife but I’m treated just like the side piece “what have my husband reserved sacred for me “ the same thing you do with me you do with your “SNACK” but I’m dinner 😮🙏🏾(in my own understanding)
Thank y’all
This episode just SHIFTED the atmosphere on this generation. Well done💯
I've known of Dr. Jamal Bryant since his days in Baltimore. My ex husband and I used to attend his church regularly. We were crushed to the BONE when we heard they were getting divorced and he was a serial cheater.
He talks a really really really good game, but as the saying goes, " action speaks louder than words. I want soooooo desperately to believe in him and his ministry, but only time and his next woman will tell if he's truly a reformed cheater ( or not).
Interesting back story 🤔 👀 😏
I did roll my eyes when I saw him as the guest. But really enjoyed this dialogue. I guess we have to stay open to watching people grow.
Thanks for being OPEN!
I totally agree with you@@JaneDoe-dp6rg
Just because a man cheats doesn’t mean it devalues his message and calling.
Y’all gonna miss out on important info throwing stones 🤷🏽♀️ from your fake pedestal.
Pastor Dr Jamal Bryant has always been one of my faves when it comes to talking about black love and relationships. I love how he holds the men accountable but volunteers his own missteps for them to learn from. Great guest, great conversation
But, do you share that same love when a Man holds women accountable as well? See men don’t have issues w/ people holding us accountable because we use to it. However, in the black community, a current issue is nobody can hold Bw accountable.
Accountability is not a black woman issue it’s a human issue. What we are witnessing in this world today is BOTH men and woman that have trouble being held accountable. But this goes back to the garden of Eden. Adam and Eve both fell but neither took accountability. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent.
But just because some or even many have trouble being held accountable doesn’t mean all. I’m a black woman and my pet peeve is people not taking accountability for their actions. I hold myself to the standard that was written out in the Bible by God and and lived out through Jesus Christ my Lord.
May I ask how can you assume by her statement that this lady doesn’t have the same energy when women are being called to task? I know a lot of us have been hurt but when are we going to stop trying to accuse one another but instead try to understand one another? It’s sad to see the battle of the sexes because it’s nothing but a tactic from the enemy to keep us divided because he knows the power that we possess when come together. Like the scripture says a house divided can’t not stand.
@@HisGraceIsSufficient555 accountability isn’t an issue w/ men because we get held accountable regardless if we like it or not. If bm commit a crime, we go to jail. If bm don’t take care of kids we get put on child support. If bm don’t work, we end up homeless. Women in 2023, aren’t held accountable because either they get bailed out of their situation or someone makes an excuse for their actions. So, from my examples please explain to me how men & women are equally held accountable? If a relationship ends, the man gets blamed for the demise!
@@BjtheLawyer_dealing with consequences doesn't equate to a person taking accountability for their actions that lead to said consequences. lol.. go to any jail, and most will say they didn't do it and/or blame someone else..
@@BjtheLawyer_and women are supposed to get bailed out. It's a double standard that works in our favor. GET OVER IT!!

Great show, he is really putting out the education, knowledge and solution to a monogamous relationship..
"You were not tempted, you were bored" 👏👏👏
BARS!
Me and my youngest son always had the most admiration for this Pastor since the early 2000's when we came across his sermons on The Word Network channel.
This was insanely good. Pastor Jamal Bryant dropped a lot of gems here.
So much wisdom in today's episode. The end really got to me; this is what has always been necessary for me personally to be in a relationship.
Getting close means that our insecurities and dark side will always come to light. Being in a relationship means being committed first, to honesty with one's own inner life (so as to be able to open up to the other) and second, being committed to understanding the other' in a deep and meaningful way, including their woundedness.
Love you Shi!
LISTEN THESE ARE THE CONVERSATIONS THAt all men need to have with their sons, friends, whoever, etc.
this was an amazing interview and the fact that they listened twice as much as they talked says that Dr Bryant did an amazing thing.
This conversation is on another level . The transparency, vulnerability and teaching was top tier. Wow. The part about your taught how to holla at the girl but not leave was 😳💯
The Pastors at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church are on fire!!! I love the episodes with both of my Pastors...Dr. Bryant and Dr. Karri! I love all of the guests, but these are my favorites! I'm not biased. Well...maybe a little. Much NEEDED!! ❤🙏🏽🙌🏽
Please share !! Thanks for tuning in.
After watching hours later I thought to myself… “Wow… Pastor Bryant never mentioned Sex outside of marriage is a sin!” When conversations are had with women… The Sin is the Focal Point!
Right?! Nor did he mention, when the marriage covenant is broken by adultery. Biblically the adulterer, is not free to remarry after divorce in the EYES OF GOD. Period. Anyone who does so, is in an adulterous marriage.
I have avoided this podcast, because of prejudice against this pastor past. I finally submitted to watching and I’m glad I did. Good brother and very wise.
Wow. We appreciate you for being open. This is BIG
I've never watched this show but because I follow the pastor ,I tuned in.
