IMO Rocket Lab doesn't get the attention and respect they deserve. They are a clear stand-out among the new space-race commercial sector companies. SpaceX is the 800lb gorilla in the room, but I would rate Rocket Lab as 'a fair sized gorilla' of their own. Great job guys, and I can't wait for what's next!!
Before y'all went public, I had an executive friend who wanted to invest in a space company. He knew how much I follow space, especially new space. At the time, I told him to start pooling up the liquid capital because y'all were about to go public and would be the best possible choice he could make. I'm glad to see my advice was extremely sound.
Well if he invested early on in the SPAC or DE-SPAC then he's currently down at least 60% depending on when he purchased, so while I strongly believe in RKLB, it remains to be seen if that advise was sound or not -- currently looking not.
Great ideas, tough but achievable realistic growth plans, stability, performance, strong financial plan, and a very knowledgeable and healthy leadership team. Rocket Lab is quickly gaining the proper attention and partnerships of both government and private entities in the US for growth. Share prices seem like a bargain right now. Probably wont be able to say that in 2025. If they keep doing what they say they will (and don't forget that part) they are on a full blown success mission. Like the turkey, appreciate the simplicity of the view in an overly complex world. Looking forward to great things, keep up the great work Rocket Lab.
Vision, values, passion, alignment, consistency, respect, and sweet sweet technology. Yahtzee!! I’ve never been more excited to see a company succeed, Rocket Lab is firing on all cylinders. or nozzles.
I can’t believe Peter Beck called me by my name on stage at 1:13:25 ! But in all seriousness, Rocket Lab is really moving ahead to bring competition up and pricing down with these new developments! Keep it up!
Look forward to watching Rocket Lab's Neutron rocket hitting the heavens. Watched an interview by Tim Dodd, Everyday Astronaut on this company & was impressed., you could eat your dinner off the floor. Best of luck to Peter Beck & all at this great company 👍
329s at sea level and 367s vac is actually pretty damn good. Looks on par with raptor and what’s expected from Be-4. Earlier numbers for Archemeaies were given at something like 320s. If that’s sea level, then this is a nice little bump but if that was supposed to be vacuum isp, then this is a huge change.
Fantastic presentation Peter and the Rocket Lab team! I believe in the plans, goals and vision you have laid out, not only the future of the company, but for the future of the space economy as a whole. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be an astronaut, astronomer or an aerospace engineer. Unfortunately I never got to realize those dreams for a number of reasons but you have allowed me to be an owner in a rocket company. I may only own 11 shares (currently. I plan on purchasing more) but I am so proud to be, albeit a very small, part of the company. Thank you for, in a round about way, helping me realize my dream of space.
Love the company and enjoyed the presentation. Maybe a suggestion for next time...can you please show the slide alongside the presenter so that we can read the information in addition to listening to the presenter? Thank you.
As a shareholder I don't want you to return cash to me except through building the business and investing in the technology. But I'm sure you know this
I would love to see a lot more PR worldwide for Rocket Lab. Noone here knows it. :( I would also love to see any person on the Earth to be able to buy a service provided by a RKLB satellite, not just governments or big companies. RKLB app for everyone!
Super interesting! I like the Changes on the engine. But two years will be super hard for the development of the engine. I believe Rocket Lab can do it when they say so but still it will be hard
@@geopoli3735 pretty much, yes. Our economy has been treated more or less like a heroin addict for the last 14 years with next to nothing interest rates fueling growth and encouraging risk. Now raising the interest rates started off slow, using the addiction methaphor - like an addict getting methadone, but since that didn’t curb skyrocketing inflation, now we are forcing them to go cold turkey. Really, the situation we find ourselves in, was entirely preventable. And small companies that rely on cheap loans to grow, like Rocketlab today and Amazon in yesteryear, they will suffer. Some will fail to thrive, some will not survive, others will be acquired by the 800 pound gorillas in the room.
At Wallops, building a wharf out through the surf as shown would be a nightmare for several reasons, some of which could be mitigated by using a pier on pilings. Instead, make the barge very shallow draft, go into Bogues Bay and unload behind the old chicken farm you are building the factory on. Calm water there, no big surf while unloading your rocket!
Please the other time can you show the slides when Peter or other persons are speaking about you show a pair of seconds and then changing the capture to a face of person who is speaking about this slide ,thanks
1:11:36 . . . You know that this MAY be the first fully-reusable 1st stage that could Launch & be Recovered entirely INTERIOR to a continent (not restricted to coastal or at sea operations) ?! btw, you're gonna need to address GEO + SatServ markets to stay competitive too.

From reviewing this video of these individuals. They all do not exude a aura of belief. I hear a lot of purchasing and wanting to be able to compete ,however sometimes you need to stabilize your base and generate constant revenue generator. I am not saying something that generates a trickle of ROI, but a constant good amount of funding. Technology is constantly improving and if you do not get something that pays for itself in the short-term, then your great ideas will be like a lot of of other failed space companies.
Space industry is tough, they pretty much have to start from scratch since they didnt start with a large engine, electric pumps wount work on a large rocket. gonna be expensive.
You can find the stats for the helicopter Rocket Lab is using to catch electron. You'll need to build a drone that can travel out to the location where the rocket will come down, catch it, and fly it back. And Electron is a small rocket.
A combination of the entire stock market trending down along with a squeeze on all the noobs who went long by taking a 2nd mortgage on their house to buy Rocket Lab stock around $6.00 a share thinking riches were heading their way.
Fire Adam Spice for that off-color joke he opened with. With it, he demonstrated he does not share the vision and morals of the rest of the team. At best, he will be dead weight going forward; at worst, he will RUD the company with his incompetence and greed.
Sure, fire the guy who has been their CFO for 4.5 years, leading the company through a going-public transaction that raised a massive war chest to survive the oncoming recession, consummated 4 strategic acquisitions, and demonstrated a clear plan to profitability in an absolute money pit of an industry for 99% of commercial upstarts. Just because he made a harmless quip that investors would be rewarded someday. IMO we should have more people like Spice (and more companies like RKLB) instead of endless pie in the sky PPT decks, CGI, and hype tweets from folks who are only at the prototyping stage at best.
Thats not totally fair. This was a prepared presentation so even if he did not have it in his head he could have easily looked it up. Meaning they did not give an exact number on purpose.
It’s not often that I believe in the future of a company and it’s CEO, as I do Rocket Lab and Peter Beck. Keep the thrust!
Peter " it's all down to business decisions, not me wanting to build a rocket that looks like a carrot..."
Well all he has to do is paint it orange.
Where do you live. And area you protect?

They are definitely more promising than Blue Origin.
That's right, look out spacex ... Rocket Lab USA is entering the room 😊
Thanks for the update Rocket Lab! Can't wait for the day we get to see Neutron fly! 😍

Keep stuffing that turkey hard and fast, Rocket Lab! RL is doing fantastic work, and clearly Beck has vision and the ability to deliver on his vision.
