#PAWPatrol #PAWPatrolTheMovie #AniMat - Krátké a kreslené filmy
This film is way better then it has any right to be. It has a good message, the humour is pretty good and the animation is GORGEOUS.
@John Cena It currently has better ratings than other toy/game movies. Last time I looked it had a 76% Rotten Tomatoes based on 38 reviews. That’s more than Space Jam and it’s sequels, Sonic the Hedgehog, all Pokémon movies including Detective Pikachu, both My Little Pony movies (1986 and 2017), and many others. And most of the movies I listed did well at the box office.
this freaking movie exists
It’s worse then space jam 2 which is hard to beat since space jam 2 is amazing
@@GreenBunnyTNT. It’s not worse than Space Jam 2. That film is a critical and commercial failure on every level. Paw Patrol is currently 78% based on 44 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes whilst Space Jam 2 is in the low 30% range. And no, I’m not a Paw Patrol fan. I actually don’t really like it and find the TV show to be annoying and I was expecting the movie to be toy selling garbage as well. This movie actually caught me off guard and I actually ended up enjoying it. So yeah it’s a movie meant for toddlers like my 4 year old but they went all out on it and I can respect it. I was expecting them to cut corners with the animation and wasn’t convinced that the obvious “fluffy -fication” meant that they wouldn’t recycle the animation. So yeah I hate the franchise but the movie is actually pretty darn good and I will buy it for my kid when it comes out on Blu-Ray so I don’t have to suffer through the awful TV movies for a while (Mighty Pups is AWFUL! Sorry I had to say it!) So yeah I can understand the hate for Paw Patrol, I don’t like it either, but the movie is not only watchable it’s actually pretty GOOD.
@@princesspikachu3915 I like space jam 2 better and I used to watch the show and thought the movie was okay
Even though this movie is clearly not for me, I can’t lie…this looks genuinely adorable
This movie looks fine in my opinion.
Agreed
I love this movie but not really I love the attention it's getting I love the the creation but it's a 90% for me
@@brightmacsworld8353 that’s a pretty reluctant way to give it an A-: if you enjoyed it, embrace that you enjoyed it and was made happy by it.
It really is. I'm 26, not a fan at all, and I had a smile on my face the entire time.
I didn't find Liberty annoying in the slightest. She was honestly my favorite character in this movie.
Agreed. She was awesome!
@@chloenieuwsma4846 Agreed. I hope she gets added to the TV series. They need more girl pups aside from Skye, Everest, and evil “Westie” pup Sweetie.
@@chloenieuwsma4846 She can lean a little heavily into stereotypical tough city girl at times but it's not the worst I've seen. She was pretty enjoyable 🙂
I loved that she never gets jealous of the PAW Patrol’s fame.
Mine too I love liberty
Kudos to Keith Chapman. He’s got one heck of a talent for making TWO incredibly successful kid franchises.
🅱️🅾️🅱️
"Can we fix it yes we can!"
Exactly what many people forget is that Paw Patrol is actually created by the same person Keith Chapman who created Bob the Builder and of course there is his new series on Netflix mighty Express which I would describe better as being a Show trying to cash in on the Thomas popularity way after the popularity ended as we all know where Mattel is taking the show now
@@williampulfer-melville8536
It’s amazing how most people don’t know that.
And for that mighty express show, it doesn’t really matter to me, but I’m sure it won’t last forever, anyways.
in my opinion, Keith Chapman just has that golden touch with kids shows. With a show like Bob The Builder, is anyone surprised why Paw Patrol is so massive? Weirdly enough, he is one of the few who managed to make pre-school kids shows that are actually enjoyable to adults too, I am in my mid 20s and I still love Bob The Builder to this day, and I really enjoy Paw Patrol
Even if the PAW Patrol movie's target demographic is children, it still has a similar appeal for moviegoers over 5 to enjoy, in the likes of "Clifford's Really Big Movie" and "Curious George". Also, I'd take this film over Dreamworks' mediocre pieces of animation the company released this summer. So, for me, 7/10 for giving me 80 minutes of a good time.
Meh. I prefer Curious George
I really like the 2006 Curious George film, definitely an underrated film and the best hand drawn animated films of the 2000s alongside The Emperor's New Groove, the first Lilo & Stitch, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The Simpsons Movie and The Princess and the Frog.
Clifford's Really Big Movie is a longtime childhood fav of mine!
@@CatDogDexterMan20 Speaking of that film, aren't you ashamed that "Clifford's Really Big Movie" had been fading into obscurity a long time ago?
I recently watched Clifford and I enjoyed it a lot. It’s such a cute film
Out of pure curiosity, I saw bits and pieces of Paw Patrol on Nickelodeon and its honestly a kiddy show made for kindergarteners and yet, I can't hate it because unlike Barney the Dinosaur or Caillou, it doesn't feel too dumbed down to where it feels like you're gonna rip your hair out so it's nice the show is enjoyable for kids and their parents and I'm glad the film is also the same way as well. It may not be a masterpiece but little kids and their parents are have fun with this.
This could be potentially be one of the best films based on a preschool show since Sesame Street: Follow that bird. I really love how the animation stays true to the show. I’m not a paw patrol fan either but my younger brothers enjoy the show though
What about Little Bear the movie, Elmo in Grouchland, and Franklin Turtle lake treasure
@@johnnygallagher5718 they're ok, but not really close to being the best
Man I honestly loved Follow that Bird as a kid it had such a adventurous plot,
Agreed
You just gave me Nostalgia when you mentioned Follow That Bird
Kinda ironic that this 'kids movie' got a fairly good review from a guy that once stated that "You shouldn't make an animated film just for kids".
But seriously, it is nice that you gave this movie a well-received opinion.
Agreed.
Because the movie managed to hit that sweet spot of being a G rated kids movie that has appeal outside of the target demographic. I think when he says not to make it just for kids he means that it’s not made with any thought and just there to sell toys. Like how the old My Little Pony Movie by Toei Animation was. I love Toei as much as the other former anime lovers out there but the movie they made in the 1980’s for My Little Pony is awful. It’s not their fault though; it’s just the writing…
The best part was Chase’s trauma subplot. Was definitely not expecting something like that.
So I’ll admit, the story isn’t groundbreaking and obviously isn’t perfect but in comparison to what they do in the normal episodes in the series where it’s just a simple 12 minute, someone does something stupid or just bad conditions like weather causes a problem and it’s solved within 5 minutes and the last 2-3 minutes is just “well done” or the 23 minute specials aren’t anything good either cause they just feel stretched out for no reason and don’t really have any real interest to watch all the way through, and the TV movies which really only give one pup out of the entire team to shine, the movie plot is actually quite interesting and to me quite nice to learn as it’s unlike anything the series had done before. I’ll admit I may be biased by saying this being a fan of the show for 8 years now, but I do still feel like the plot/story in this excels compared to what the series does.
Agreed. Went to the theater to see this with my 4 year old yesterday and was amused by how they “darkened” up the plot a bit. It’s meatier than the TV show. Even if there wasn’t much focus on developing any of the other characters aside from Chase. Also there was only one other “family” aside from my child, husband, and I.
Ryder manages an entire rescue department, handles its financing, and can even drive. And by the way he’s only 10 years old. So maybe it’s about time you moved out of your mother’s basement. :p
Like the oversimplified reference! 👌
Actually in the show, he doesn't drive the bus, his robot dog assistant does.
@@0deadx21 I mean, he can ride an ATV so it's somewhat passable, and even then who else can claim they make a fully functional robot at the age of ten?
That's right you tell him! Even DORA spends every day climbing mountains and flying planes and stuff and she’s blind! She even once flew all the way to China just to hand out friendship bracelets lol. If she could do that then this guy has no excuse:)
Who says he hasn’t, already?
When I saw the first trailer, I thought to myself: "really? This is getting a movie?"
Then again, Viacom has been milking their most popular shows recently, so I'm not surprised.
A lot of cooperations tend to do that… a LOT.
The way to analyze kids media, if you're an adult, is to ask two questions, "Do you like it personally?" and "Do you approve of it being shown to kids?"
Paw Patrol also gets a yes to both questions from me.
Watching a movie alone is only awkward if you make it awkward.
I'm 26 and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's a fun ride with dark and emotional moments, and the score is fantastic. I had a smile on my face pretty much the entire time.
Someone needs to release the orchestrated soundtrack for this film! Not the written songs. The orchestrated score that plays in the background during the film.
Even the movie is self-aware that it's therefore merchandise
I thought the joke was kinda funny. “How can we afford all this???” 😮
“Official Paw Patrol merchandise! This stuff sells like hot cakes!” 😉
Adults watch kid cartoons for a different reason as a kid watches kid cartoons. I watch kid cartoons to spot any adult jokes or innuendos
I watch kids cartoons if I find them to be genuinely cute, and if they have good animation, good voice acting, warm, fuzzy moments and little to no cringe, then better.
Adults watch kid shows meanwhile children watch Adult shows
@Patren #1 children watch Rick and morty, South Park and family guy
I wasn't allowed to watch those but the Simpsons were ok since that counts as a family show
@@skootergirl22 Rick and Morty “no”, Family Guy “HELL NO!!!”, South Park “OMG YESSSS!!!!!”
I watch them because age shouldn't matter when it comes to entertainment. The kinds of folks who deem it to be weird, or uncouth, need to seriously sit down and invest in the content their kids like. They may see exactly why they're into it and become closer as a result.
And, this is coming from a twenty-year old man whose life revolved around a blue tank engine for the majority of my childhood.
I read the title and wondered “does he need us to pray for him?” And given my cousins I’d say yes he does.
12:56 I know this is for toddlers but I guess it's safe to say that the mayor is probably what Radcliffe from Pocahontas(1995) lacked as he is also a stereotypical villian without the depth or redeeming qualities that a lot of animated villains have
I can see that, but I don’t have that much issue with it.
Wow, looks like Animat had a fun time with this movie.
Even if the movie was meant for young kids or fans, it’s okay to like a movie even if it’s kid friendly.
Exactly! I am like 27 years old and i must admit, i actually love watching Sofia The First. Long story short, a friend of mind recommended me to watch it but i was like "but that's a baby show, why would i watch it?" But she kept telling me that i should, so i decided to watch the first few episodes and i quickly got into it fast XD
even if it's a disney junior show that's made for little kids, i still saw that it's a very adorable fun show, the characters are fun, the messages in each episode are very pretty good and important for kids to learn, and the songs are pretty good and catchy 😄
@@firemiracle, true and I love Dinosaur Train, it’s one of my favorite childhood television series growing up and I still watch the show today.
I agree with you that just because the series is for little kids doesn’t make it bad, it teaches kids how things are and sends us pretty good messages about anything.
When I was 25, I loved watching Goldie and Bear (the Disney Junior show)
@@firemiracle Yes, characters like Cedric had good arcs and the finale was pretty grand in scope for that kind of show.
@@connorbeith3232 omg yes! Cedric is honestly my favorite character! I do wish he had more screentime in season 4, it was pretty unfair that he didnt appeared so much during the last season 🥺

@@daelen.cclark of course he it, he's a grown ass man going critiquing a kids movie, good point or not, he'll be stigmatized
I used to volunteer at a preschool for some time, so I got to see a few "Paw Patrol" episodes. From what I remember, it did a solid job explaining to kids how the dogs handle their missions, such as saving beached whales and getting baby sea turtles to the ocean.
While I don't have any interest in seeing this movie, I'm glad to hear it's doing decently. Plus, it's good to know that they put some actual effort into a film for little kids, rather than using the target audience as an excuse to make a cheap cash grab.
Did anyone notice that the Cloud Chaser machine was kind of similar to the FLDSMDFR from Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs?
Yep that was my first thought
when the tower collapsed i was like "is this paw patrol??? feels more like marvel..." didn't expected to see that much destruction in the movie
I’ve seen Paw Patrol a large amount of times while hanging out with my little brothers, and I’ll just say Hummdinger is as annoying in the show as he is in the movie.
Who would’ve thought that Paw Patrol The Movie is certified fresh on rotten tomatoes?
It didn’t deserve it
@@friepaign3828 Have you even seen it? I was shocked at the good reviews myself and didn’t think it would actually be good. I don’t like the show much at all and when I first saw the trailer my reaction was “oh great another soulless toy cash grab with recycled animation”. I go and take my kid to see it at the mostly empty theater and am taken aback that it isn’t bad. And even if I don’t think it deserves a higher rating than My Little Pony 2017 (only has a 44% last time I checked), Detective Pikachu (68% last I checked) and Sonic the Hedgehog (63% last time I checked). Currently Paw Patrol holds a 77% of 78%. While I don’t think it deserves to be that highly reviewed I think it’s a good thing in the long run and maybe going forward there will be better movies that get the good reviews they deserve instead of being review bombed by franchise haters who don’t even bother to watch the actual movie and just spew hateful stuff. Not defending Paw Patrol as a whole. I think the series is lazily animated and I keep seeing obvious animation errors and my 4 year old also notices it too without my input. The movie was actually pretty good. Does it deserve the fresh rating in my opinion? Not really. But even so it is a good thing because maybe reviewers might give older toy cartoon movies another chance and maybe future movies like this may get a fair chance.
@@princesspikachu3915 Paw patrol currently holds 80% rotten tomatoes.

Say what you want about the series or even the movie you can’t deny that theme song is catchy as hell, even when I’m cleaning theaters it ends up getting stuck in my head
I have a four year old who loves Paw Patrol. I've never seen it. So, I was hesitant to take my child to see this movie. I greatly appreciate you doing this review.
I, too, have a 4 year old. I have seen the show. I don’t care for the show. The movie, however, I would actually watch again with or without my child there.
10:51 phonomanal fourth wall break
Transformers and Power rangers and MLP were more subtle in selling their toys
Can’t deny it.
Depends on which series of those that you are talking about. And even then it’s not subtle. It’s just some are better at telling a story that makes you WANT to buy the characters. This is why Baby Lickity-Split from the original MLP sucks and I will burn any G1 and G3 MLP merch I find no matter how valuable but why I have some G4 episodes and the movie. It’s why the original Power Rangers film is still a fun watch whilst I forgot that they made another movie recently. And Transformers is mostly good no matter what with some of the series being bad enough for memes and some others being forgettable (Armada is forgettable even though I remember liking that one). So no I wouldn’t say the toy selling is subtle but they give the characters enough depth to where even adults might impulse buy their favorite characters in toy form.
I'm a 25 year old who still likes thomas the tank engine the original series with the model trains including the original books the railway series nothing wrong with that
I’m a Thomas fan. Which I like the original series, the railway series, and the cgi series
Also, Thomas The Tank Engine is a meme too.
Before Watching The Video Comment:
I watched this in the movie theater for when I went to see Peter Rabbit 2 and my first thought was “how did Mayor Humdinger ban dogs without the approval of the city council, and this a very unusual and illegal thing to happen. Plus people in the council would’ve thought that was crazy”
While Watching (14:03):
Does this mean there is no authority other than the Paw Patrol in Adventure Bay?
🤷♂️🤷♂️ And why are we banning dogs in the first place though?
in the movie he was an unqualified mayor so idk how he got the authority
he must have tricked some construction workers into thinking he was qualified
@@Green_Ninja-fm7hs In the movie he referred to himself as an “unqualified elected official”. The other person running for mayor apparently dropped out of the election causing Humdinger to get the position by default. He was also going against the city council in the movie and also ignoring the lady with the “cloud drone” when she tried to tell him the device couldn’t contain all the bad weather. Reminds me of the current and former leadership in the states actually.
I was cracking up when I read that title!
Best part of the review right there!

I was 11 years old & beginning of 6th grade year when this show came out
I'll be 21 in less than 2 months & this movie made me cry like a baby
I really like how the movie put it like a backstory about Chase who is very alone in the big city
I never watched Paw Patrol either, but this is actually okay.
Wow you never watched it
Cal Brunker has finally directed a movie that can be considered passable
Shows that he's improving overtime
@@Numbuh8578 It's a good thing that he directed this, and not Michael Bay.
Sure this movie isn’t ground breaking and I can definitely see a lot of people just not care for it, but it’s pretty cute and entertaining for what is is.
7/10.
This movie might be decent, I haven't seen it yet, but I personally find it depressing that they rewrote the show's identity. It had such a distinct tone in Season 1 (subtle, but fun with childlike innocence). I remember loving it as a kid, and I still do. But in mid-Season 2, it became too dense and merchandise-driven. And while I appreciate that the movie has a new team to avoid the same trap, I think it would stand out much more if it was more faithful to the original idea.
I actually agree with this. I was already grown by the time Paw Patrol first aired. I never really watched it back then and I had grown to hate it by 2015 because of a sad toy drive incident at a charity I volunteered for (sick dying kid wanted a Paw Patrol toy for Christmas but none to be found outside of expensive resellers/scalpers in case you are curious ). Now I had my kid back in 2017 and was exposed to the Paw Patrol the following year and was initially disgusted with the show and it’s recycled animation and way too adult innuendo (Pups Save Big Hairy anyone?). Then I happened upon the first season and was surprised by how un-toyish those early episodes were. Sure those episodes are sometimes thought of as “boring” by some people but I think the show is becoming way too bloated. Everest was a good edition and I don’t mind the evil mayor Humdinger and his cats because at least they show the “ugly side” of law enforcement and public services. But some characters are so unnecessary. Do we really need an evil nephew? Or evil West Highland Terrier? And what is up with Tracker? And why are they all Fire-pups? And why are they all Police-pups? And why do they all have jet-packs/hover boards now? And now they have super powers??? I suppose people could also make the same complaint towards my fan base on all the hat Pikachu forms but Paw Patrol shouldn’t be doing that sort of thing for at least another 6 years or so. I have softened up to Paw Patrol having to be exposed to it due to parenting and I am able to follow the plot most of the time. My issue isn’t really the whole “toy cartoon” debate since there are good “toy cartoons”. My issue is the lack of creativity. They seem to know they need to sell the toys and that’s fine if they are creative with how they market it (1980’s Transformers Movie comes to mind). Except that it hurts the franchise to market the same pups taking over some other pup’s job and cashing in on “Marvel Mania” with Mighty Pups. Paw Patrol the Movie is actually pretty surprising in that respect as it’s clearly marketing the merchandise but it doesn’t feel quite as forced as “Pup’s PD now they are all just like Chase” or “Mighty Pup’s and the Marvel Studios Meteor”. I liked the movie and I liked those early episodes once I saw them. The show is definitely a mixed bag but at least it’s not the worst thing for kids I’ve seen. And the plush toys and “beanie babies” are pretty cute. I just hope that they use the good reviews and revenue from the movie to improve the series in the long run so that people who grow up with it can return to it as they get older and still enjoy it and share it with their kids instead of having to live with the “why did I ever like this” reaction.
@@princesspikachu3915 On point, dear friend. 👏 And I liked the pups more when they acted like pups!
Also, I love how he uses all Season 1 footage at 1:15.
I’m quite surprised at how he was pawsitive about the film.
Correct! (BTW, nice pun.)
We all are.
The movie was good and it had a great plot. I'm guessing that the film takes place before Season 1 or it's set in alternate timeline, cause they never mentioned Everest and Tracker at all, as they were the first two members of the Paw Patrol, not Liberty. It would be cool if they decided to use the animation from the movie for Season 9. It was more detailed than the TV series, which could use an update after 8 Seasons. Maybe Chickaletta is the true villain of the Paw Patrol, she's been right there with them from the very beginning and maybe she talks. They should do a Paw Patrol Prequel series about how Ryder found each of the pup's and formed the Paw Patrol, and how Mayor Humdinger became the jerk that he is, maybe he was the original mayor of Adventure Bay and tried to change the town. It's time to have 30 minute episode were we finally see the Kitten Catastrophe Crew vs the Paw Patrol.
Plot twist: the real villain of Paw Patrol is Capt’n Turbot and Humdinger is actually trying to work undercut as a “fake” villain to find the hidden corruption in Adventure Bay. At first he thinks it’s mayor Goodway and her purse chicken but she is quickly ruled out. Humdinger then zooms in on Ryder and his pups because he had power and would make an obvious villain. Ryder is also looking for the true bad guy and assumes it’s Humdinger and whilst they go for the final “battle” of pups versus kitties, Turbot and his henchmen Francois, Mandy the monkey, the penguins, and the narwhal are plotting their sinister moves. Wally the walrus isn’t paid enough fish so he interrupts the cat and dog fight to stop Turbot and Ryder and Humdinger call a truce and battle the evil army of mind controlled merpups. And now I know I have been up waayyy too late lol.
I watched this movie on the day it came out and I like it so much! There is so much more details in the animation. I used to watch the show about 5 years ago. Getting to see Chase's backstory and overcoming his fears was very unexpected and creative. I want Paw Patrol the movie on the best or honorable mentions.

I'm someone who has watched the show thanks in part to being an uncle to two nieces and...while certainly not marketed to ME...I can't help but find enjoyment in the series, even when they do upgrades for more toys such as Sea Patrol or the Mighty Pups, or Mission Paw. It really says something a character who isn't a regular Paw Patrol member is about to go down the slide and I'm all too happy that when they do, their name gets called out. As for the movie? I liked it; heck, I was surprised it added the emotional backstory for Chase and while I don't expect the show to canonize this at all...it wasn't bad. At least it meant the people behind the scenes were trying to add something to it.
ElectricDragon505 just to let you know when I found out PAW patrol came out back in 2013, and have continued with more episodes and who knows how many seasons by now. I kind of thought it was like a preschool version of the original mighty Morphin power rangers, I wanted to say power rangers but I pick the original mighty Morphin power rangers.
Because those puppies work together as a team, they have amazing vehicles and the vehicles can transform and so forth. I thought it was like the original mighty Morphin power rangers, when they're giant machines transform in a few parts and also collaborated together and transform into the megazord.
And at the same time I thought paw patrol was not only like the mighty Morphin power rangers, but I also thought it was almost like another kids show. A kid's action show that is, that came out from the '60s or the '70s called Thunderbirds. That show featured some people as puppets, along with really cool rescue vehicle models. And yes years later at some point in the 2000s there was a Thunderbirds movie, I remembered watching the movie at first and then I watched the show after that and I thought it was all cool. And I can never forget the quote, Thunderbirds are go.
So I thought paw patrol also reminded me of the original show and of course the movie of Thunderbirds.
So I could say paw patrol kind of reminds me of both mighty Morphin power rangers and Thunderbirds, I'm sure the creator of Bob the builder when he created paw patrol. of course it was cool for him to choose puppies as heroes and so forth, but not only that maybe he was inspired by mighty Morphin power rangers and maybe Thunderbirds. And decided to combine those ideas and do a preschool show with those ideas, that would work and with not too much violence.
Because I remembered they were critics criticizing on mighty Morphin power rangers, being too violent for kids and so forth. And I'm sure that the original TV show of Thunderbirds probably got the same criticism. But nonetheless those two shows were popular before paw patrol.
So I'm sure the creator of Bob the builder who created paw patrol, might have been inspired by mighty Morphin power rangers and Thunderbirds. And that he wanted to do a show with ideas like that, and to use puppies as heroes and with no too much violence. And at the same time to be educational as well, so that it would work as a preschool children show. And of course since 2013 it was all successful, it became really popular for not only preschool children, but with kids of all ages as well. Just like my Little pony generation 4 before that, and just like my Little pony generation 4. Paw patrol was so popular, that a lot of merchandise and a lot of toys were sold very well, paw patrol is one of the successful preschool children shows of all time. Also became part of the children's international icon, and also I believe it could be part of the pop culture as well, just like other well known preschool children's characters from other preschool kids shows. Such as Thomas the Tank Engine, Gumby, Sesame Street, hello Kitty, you name it 😉👍
Loved your review
This was a great review! It analytically said what it needed to say in each category without being too long in some areas and too short/simple in others, something that I definitely still need to work on in my “reviews.”
And yes, I did make my own video on Paw Patrol the Movie, thank you for asking…
I won’t bother with this movie, if I want my fix of preschool films I’ll just stick with the two Sesame Street movies follow that bird and the adventures of Elmo in grouchland
I want a PAW Patrol movie where the pups are all grown up and voiced by various comedians:
Chase: Tom Hanks
Marshall: Jim Carrey
Rocky: David Spade
Rubble: Seth Rogen
Not sure who would voice Skye and Zuma TBH.
One of the appeal of the pups is that they're not grown-ups.
@@0deadx21 I know but I'd love to see the pups as fully grown adult dogs in an animated movie.
@@termitesc.aardwolf3644 honestly, that will work as a great continuation.
as the children who grew up with the show can see their childhood characters face more serious issues.
Actually a preschool series turning into a school-age show sounds like a great idea.
Seth Rogen as Rubble sounds fantastic ngl
Skye- Selena Gomez
Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of the show, the movie was great
Ok, I did not know Paw Patrol was created by the same creator as Bob the Builder (a longtime childhood favourite of mine)
What more does an animated film 🎥 based on a TV 📺 show have to do for AniMat to give the animation a 10/10?
Kids deserve shows with smarter writing and creativity to help build there minds.
damn right, pixar are for kids but they have deep meaning sure kids might not get it but that's the fun of it when they rewatch it when they are older is like a new experience.
10:53 my favourite bit from the film
To me I just found surprising that it was really a good movie itself, although it's really okay to watch a preschooler movie, some of us still watch things like Follow that Bird, or Barney's Great adventure. Heck I wouldn't be surprised if people are still watching Dora's Lost City of Gold like that's has good comedy even if that is based from something like Dora the explorer! 😂
@@laurademarco8859 Yeah, that Dora movie was a decent suprise, it could have been a lot worse. Plus there was meta humor with how they made fun of the original show. XD
@@laurademarco8859 Well of course it is, I just said it's a very funny movie. It's so worth going back.
Possibly my favourite part of the movie was when Liberty roasted Delores by saying ' You talk a lot of trash for a dog that looks like a toilet brush. '
That sounds more like a democratic politician rather than Republican one.
Leftist activists pretending to be journalists and disgracing the profession in the process. They're angry, miserable people. They're not above lying.
nope more of republican one.
@@MattStMarie-bm5sq nope considering how democratic mayors have ruined their cities, definitely more of a democratic one.
I work with kids who like this show so thanks for making this episode so that I can actually talk about the movie with them.
Once bob's burgers the movie comes out please review it
Interesting.... maybe I will give it a watch when it lands in my local theatre next month. God I'll feel so dumb though... x.x
I won’t lie I just finished watching this and this show grow up in my later childhood years so I’m surprised that you’d be reviewing this but I like it all the same. ^^
I wish this movie had a character ark with Marshall being jealous of chase since Ryder clearly favors him
I’m pretty sure my 10 year old self would’ve love this movie, but as a 16 year old, I liked it
Ok. Now I need to watch this movie. Although I've been watching the series for a number of years, I wasn't sure if it will be enjoyable at the very least. But after watching this, I'm more eager to check Paw Patrol The Movie out.
I enjoyed the film but I might have enjoyed a little background on the rest of the pups. Didn’t really need Liberty honestly. My biggest issue was that Marshall wasn’t given enough funny lines, that seemed really odd to me.
I love orson welles part in the movie, his voice gaves so much weight to the movie.
Isn't he dead?
@@TheAllSeeingEye2468
I think it’s meant as a joke.
@@TheAllSeeingEye2468 He is, but I think that he would have been great voicing the part of mayor Humdinger. Can you imagine how much depth that Orson Wells could have given to such a shallow character simply because of how professionally theatrical his voice was?
Awesome! I’m glad that you enjoyed this film.
My little nephew love Paw Patrol
My nephews do, too.
Just a question do your nephews watch Thomas and Friends?
@@Koopalingfan Not always, but I’ve wanted to get them into the classic era for quite some time. In fact, I even sat down with them while we watched the first eight episodes.
In the show Ryder also owns a truck stop as well . I went down a paw patrol rabbit hole on vacation. I’m a big fan of theme episodes like ones where there truckers or knights or have super powers.
Nah because this show is giving me unrealistic expectations for cars 😭😭 LIKE I WANT CHASE’S CAR SO BAD??? THE ANIMATION DID GREAT WITH THEIR VEHICLES 😭
Am I the only one that questions the fact that Ryder is like 14 years old and he is running of basically the entire city/towns rescue team. So if mayor Humdinger just wanted to really beat the paw patrol he could just take away Ryder with child services, and they cant leave the pups all alone with no owner so they would all get taken away lol. SERIOUISLY WHERE ARE RYDERS PARENTS ;-;
12:41 The 2020 version of Dr. Robotnik also has the exact same mustache.
You probably aren't missing much context from not watching the series as, apart from existence of Humdinger, the creators seem to have very deliberately removed any potential references to events and characters beyond the 1st season.
That's not to say there's any real continuity to the series, but Adventure Bay was fleshed out somewhat over 7 seasons.
Most egregious offender is probably the Kitten Catastrophe Crew being demoted to common house pets.
True also I kinda wonder if Sweetie is gonna be in a sequel , she's my favorite Paw Patrol villain
I saw it today with my 4 year old and I was surprised how decent it was! Action scenes were really well made, good stuff.
I am surprised no one ever mentions that chase vehicle is heavily based on the DARK KNIGHT batmobile!
4:15 And that looks like plastic.
