- Covid-19 kept me home so, after making major changes to the studio I decided to chase inspiration. I came across a crazy movie called Eurovision The Story of Fire Saga featuring Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams. I heard JaJa Ding Dong and the fun Polka feel was a cover for some nasty lyrics and of course I loved it! So project one with this new sh*t is a remix! I will upload a series of "the making of" clips later.... but I never though would mix a f***ing accordion.... EVER!!! The purist might get pissed but damn I had fun!!! Thank you Arista Records for giving a brotha the stems.

The best part of this video is seeing Mix having a good time. Love seeing positive people in this day and time. I want to see a remixed or refreshed version of My Hooptie. That is one of my all time favorites.

just saw this movie the other day and seeing this as the first remix...its a lot to top i gotta say.
It's so crazy listening to this with Elite Class Converters, even with CZcams's compression this mix does circles around the original. Not to mention that Knocking sample... Man that sounds so fresh!
The female vocals don't pierce my ear drums, the saturation on that bass synth is to die for!

On Reykjanes Penninsula where they shot the initial fantasy video for Volcano Man there are a pair of Nord keyboards similar (if not the same) to the ones used in the movie embedded in concrete so you can take pictures at the keyboards with Karlinn (the giant rock out in the ocean) in the background. It was cool to be on the spot we just saw in the movie a few weeks before hand. Unfortunately we didn't get to Husavik where most of the Icelandic portion of the movie was shot. That was filmed on the northern part of the island and we didn't get past Sneafellsnes Penninsula.
