This video is the continuation of my two-part Christmas 2021 video set. It took a long time to edit because of the length of time it spans. My video editor app isn't the best so it turned out to be a little buggy :/ It's definitely not my best work, though I learned a lot and I know I can use it to grow from. I was hoping to get it out closer to Christmas when it would be more in step with the season, also I thought I would be able to add music to it, unfortunately it didn't work out that way... All in all, it's basically a day in the life episode spanning the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas. I hope you enjoy it. In this video I get to share some really cool news with you on Christmas Eve, it's been hard to keep it a secret up until now lol.
I'm looking forward to my next couple videos where I'm going to go back up Chopaka mountain and go on a few winter adventures.

Matt, I've had a couple of really hard years especially since the loss of my spouse in 2019. Watching your videos has been a way for me to kind of heal, watching you succeed helps me to succeed. Matt, I don't know if I have told you this, but I am very proud of you for turning your life around. I have a few questions for you Matt and if you don't want to answer them, that is quite alright. Do you ever hear from your family? Also, did all of you really live the way the show portrayed? Have you ever thought of getting married or having kids? Don't worry, I'm 65, so I'm not proposing. Hi Matt 🙋♀️Part 2 has a little bit of everything 👍👏 I think it's the first time we've spent so much time going through your daily routine :) The way you filmed and edited it made me feel like I was right there 🤳💻🎞 OK "Frosty" looks great and it was interesting to see the way you make the face ⛄ I've always been shown to use coal for the eyes, carrot for the nose and coal for the teeth 😬 Frosty looks like he's directing traffic (I mean that in a nice funny way, just my sense of humor 😆) I was so delighted you took us to Tonasket, it's a much bigger place than Loomis. Another first, I've never seen you wear a mask before 😷 We're getting to know our way around (no map needed)😄 I loved the wreath made of cans in the Loomis Quik Stop (the owner was thinking outside the box with that :)
When I saw the shots of the birds, it reminded me of "The babies 🐦🐦🐦🐦" The joy they brought to you and all of us watching 🤗🐦 Your COVID test (antigen I'm guessing) came with so many instructions, you could have built a chair 😆 🪑 The most important thing is it was NEGATIVE. The way your YT and IG videos kind of tie into each other and give additional context or another perspective is great. I remember we saw a quick glimpse of the snowman on IG before and I thought, hey Matt, stop, that was too fast 😆 Now I know why. You've even shared the whole process of building it AND time and date were ACCURATE yay 😄👍 Also all the different angles when you were shoveling snow were great! Oh and I've noticed the isolation you were using on the cable is from over here in Germany 😄👋
I love how you're sitting in your truck in the evenings as if it was your new living room 😊🙏 It must give you such a feeling of freedom and adventure and that healthy sense of pride you were talking about. I also love how you're sitting in your recliner chair 😅 lol. If I had one of these, I would probably never get up again it looks so comfy 😆
It was so great to see so many new parts of the area you're living in. I miss travelling so much since the pandemic and the USA are among the places I miss the most so I always enjoy seeing the scenery and stores and even the bs so much that you're showing us 😄 lol. How HUGE is the black SUV (I believe it is one) with the snow shovel in front parked on the street in Tonasket 😆 ?! This is something we don't have over here and I love seeing these things where we are different and where we are the same so much. Your Covid Test and you wearing a mask for example was such a clear reminder again of how much we're in the same boat here around the world... I really hope 2022 will finally get better 🙏 Keep staying healthy Matt.
The wreath made out of cans was really special, I have never seen a wreath like this before, very creative. The decorated firetrucks were so nice too. We also had a Christmas parade of decorated tractors over here. It was so cool. I wish I could share a video or a picture with you here. You can find it on my IG though 😊
If I could make a wish for future videos I would LOVE to see "Ozzy's Antiques" (is this how you spell it?) should you be allowed to film in there 😍 I love antique markets and flea markets and stores like these, it's my big passion and hobby. I got an amazing book about nature from 1887 for Christmas for example and very old Christmas candles from the 50ies which were only 5 Dollars I was told 😍

Five years ago I left my abusive ex and made a down payment on a house by myself. I do not have much but I can say that I did it on my own, and I am very proud of myself. Wow my favorite video so far. It's so good to see how far you have come, and yes you sharing your life & adventures really is special, uplifting and inspiring to us. I'm 38, an only child and had lots of demons to battle (abuse, drugs & alcoholism) but thankfully I was blessed with 2 children to help me grow and live an honest life. I only knew my father for 10 yrs before he passed in 2019 but also had an older friend who was like the dad I never had, he is the one who started me hiking and loving the outdoors when I was 15. You inspired me to share new hiking adventures with my kids and friends. God bless you Matt, oh and the trail cam is beautiful, so many cute birds. Stay safe friend. ❤🥰

I just have to say, that was one of the best chairs videos I've ever watch. It made me feel so good and I was smiling and sad it had to end. You had such a wonderful fulfilled time with the snowman, your gifts and gifts for your family, the parade of firetrucks, and you. I'll be sure to watch it again when I need a pick me up! Ya know what Matt, i just love this video, I like that you make long videos, for some people its comfort, someone talking to them sharing their moments in life with them, thats what you do. What more could a person ask for. Our Father clothes us, shelters us, feeds us, provides tools and makes provisions for others through our giving.
