Polaroids we’re acidic and fade, rot, etc under the best conditions… I’m pretty sure their being left out in the elements in Alaska would render them virtually useless. Tons of snow and ice, rain? Nope not buying it

Family had the strangest accent or accents. I like the father and a couple of the brothers, but the other ones have the strange accident there originally from Massachusetts. I could tell that almost immediately by the middle son and older son’s accent.
Agreed, their accents were definately peculiar. They sounded like it hurt to talk, almost like their tounges are too big. Inbreeders!!!!!

Nope....this was where they lived 20 yrs ago before Rain, the youngest girl was born.

Did they just leave all their garbage there? Living on your own outside society is all well and good, but you should still clean up after yourself.
Actually for me the show was a great escape from all the foul language and sexually based programming on regular tv and cable. No nudity respect for their faith and no murders or murderers, no gender stuff pushed on the viewer. For an school guy like me, I love the show and the family.
This must have been the first house that burnt down, when the children were very young. We need to see more of their lives now, and to see how Ami is getting on, and who is taking of her now 🥰❤️❤️🔥🤟💯

I have found Polaroids buried like that, no sun or moisture gets to them ,they most definitely could still be good,but I guess your the expert you tuber.
@@slotripper Polaroids fade over time and the backs separate. That is, when stored indoors for thirty years. Outdoors they would never survive. You might be able to make out an image, but they certainly wouldn't be in any sort of pristine condition.
@@TheBent139 if they were in an album, the album has plastic over each page and the back page has a sticky substance which seals the photos in, and if it were under something they might be fine, its sunlight and oxygen which destroys things, you keep those things out and things will last forever, oxygen is the worst substance there is for being able to destroy more materials than anything else, thats why we say things oxydize.

Much was set up and planned for filming, Once Discovery gets ahold of these things they ruine it. Setting it all up, scripted and filmed many times per scene! The first year or do was not as planned out, more Real. THOSE kids did grow up in a hard life but it was all they knew. Discovery channel destroyed it all with absured money and scripting all spoken for most part. Discover is nothing like it was when first came on air. When sold it went downhill Fast! It's a shame!
