The first theme is one of Aki's themes...and it plays as Yusei flies into space and then when Yusei attempts to make his heroic sacrifice (before he's preempted by Z-One's own). ....just makes one all the more wish they just let them get together

Agreed. Though, let's be fair with Yugi. He and Anzu are clearly close each other, more than any of the others, really. They are childhood friends and she was his only friend before the Puzzle. And even then, putting Atem and Anzu's thing for him into the equation is irrelevant as, at least by GX's time, Yugi is pretty much indistinguishable from post-character development Atem, so I'd say Anzu got to have her cake and eat it. What makes this different from Judai and Yusei is that with them, we are explicitly shown that they turned down any chance at relationships. Judai, though has the excuse that he is unaware of Asuka's feelings for him, which is really her fault since she had the chance in Season 4 after their duel but turned down the chance. Also, there is the matter of Yubel and how one interprets their relationship. What made Yusei and Aki's case infuriating is that both clearly reciprocated...and both passed up the chance. Even if Aki got shafted as a fighter, at least the show was building them up together...but that's what made the ending more aggravating.

Is it me or does Shooting Quasar Dragon also represent Bruno (I know that Yusei mentions it representing the whole 5D's, in which Bruno is included ofcourse)?
I suppose a 2.5k beat stick, with little to no real summon cost, that protects your field spell is nice. However, Turbo Quasar decks get Quasar out almost within the same about of turns (if they even use more than one turn) and most things could easily overpower Malefic Stardust
leone ruffy How is Malefic Stardust stronger than Shooting Quasar? It should be obvious that the reverse is true. Malefic Stardust has almost no summon requirements (just banish a Stardust Dragon from the ED), but only 2500 ATK and the ability to protect field spells from getting popped. Big deal. Many effects these days get around that (Castel, Erebus, ABC, Yosenju, to name a few), plus 2500 ATK is very easily surpassed by most boss monsters these days. Shooting Quasar takes a TON of work to summon (3 or more Synchro monsters, including 1 Synchro Tuner). Not only are there decks designed to accomplish this in 1-2 turns, but also, the payoff is SO worth the effort. 4000 ATK, a once-per-turn effect negation that can be activated for free (on either player's turn), plus it can attack multiple times per turn. And if it somehow gets knocked off the field, it calls out Shooting Star Dragon which is almost as dangerous. Erebus and monsters with similar effects are your only sure method to prevent that from happening, but unless you OTK or spam cheap lock effects like a scrub, you may still have to deal with Quasar AGAIN on a later turn, which sends you back to square one.
