I loved how they were polar opposites of one another and yet inseperable. Ruka's deck was one of nature and spirits and skirting around the enemies defenses to attack. Rua's deck was of machines and transforming appliances and charging straight through. I loved it.
And because of that their duel against Demak in the Dark Signers arc was honestly one of the best duels in the whole arc and one of my top three duels in the arc.
+Reed Mohlman Well, by the time they get boring, the music already changes in the anime, very few songs actually go on for an extended period of time. It's kinda like club and dance music, they drag on the last bead for a while, so that it's easier to mix in with other music. 5D's revolves around the interchanging of powerful action and words and for that, you don't need extended music (like you would for long action scenes), so I'm assuming they made the music for those scenarios.

Gosh. More than their Decks, even these twins' themes are polar opposites. While Rua has this amazingly heroic theme which entirely fits his growth as a character and his wish to be his sister's hero - and just a hero in general -Ruka has this... mystical, really mysterious theme going on with the whole spiritual idea of her deck. Both of these themes are just so amazing, and they're really different from what Jack or Yusei have to offer. Lovin' them and how intense they are :D

It honestly made me happy seeing two innocent yet so powerful duelists achieve their dreams and duel alongside legends like the other Signers. It’s just too bad Luna decided to drop duelling, but let’s hope we get to hear about Leo’s adult dueling career at some point. Maybe we’ll see his monsters in a temple dedicated to legendary duelists in a future anime, like various OG and GX characters were in Zexal (no 5Ds ones though for some reason).
