She played mostly a defense game in the harem instead of going on offense against those she knew who were her enemies or knew would eventually cause problems for her and those she protected. Even at the end, I was irritated with her. I get that she was heartbroken as she finally gave up hope on the man she once loved and just plain done, but it wasn't just about her. There were other people who were hurt when she fell out of favor with the Emperor and thus lost power to Huang Guefei.

The facts is the cat punishment according to the actual story when the criminal face cat punishment the cat will scratch and leave no trace of skin on the criminal faces, leg hand etc . Those slave that took arou out cannot even recognise her that’s what the actual story said. Also the director of this show afraid ppl wud mimic this part so they decided to remove this part of the show .
