i respect his grind, he has a really relatable story as a child that i had as well. i was young, really good at basketball; but let people tell me that i was never gonna make it and just focus on something else. im glad he told his parents so he could be encouraged properly as parents should and now look where he is. unfortunately for me, i was so damn secretive that i rarely told anybody anything; especially if its something that made me sad. maybe its the scorpio in me lol, but big respect to this man, hope he does well
