Please don't add black bars. Ever. Instead, crop to your "cinemascope" aspect ratio of choice. And what you did is called Color Grading. Color Correction is something different. It's usually done before the CG where the material is first corrected and prepared for grading. Correction may include white balance adjustment, saturation adjustment, luminance and exposure adjustment, color space conversion.

@@tycoparri cause black bars ain't a literal bars. It is the end zone of the video, which is aspect ratio and frame size in the composition settings.

this is hilarious, great clear quick advice, so setting slog2 on the nex5n to film then taking that into premiere and doing colour correction, grading luts in there.
