I have seen Kimberly's video too. I don't have a denman brush so I been using my FL brush instead and it works just as well for me too! Love the results girl!! 😍😍

Hey doll, your hair looks great. Sometimes I dont mind the shrinkage when I use the denman brush from the root because I feel like I get an extra day of wear out of it too. You get more shrinkage than I do though so definitely understand. Tfs your take on this technique.

Natural J there’s so many different wash & go techniques! I just choose which one I want to use based on how I want my hair to look/how much time I feel like spending on my hair that day, lol! Thank you, love! 🤗💗😘

I may try it when my hair gets longer bc i think it causes alot of shrinkage or maybe i could use it and stretch it w/ a blow dryer
beau knows88 it does cause a bit more shrinkage, but it’s not horriibbbllleee (especially if you stretch it, lol)

SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL, I'LL GIVE THIS A TRY. I SHAVED MY HEAD & CUT OUT ALL OF MY PERM ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO. APPARENTLY I'VE BEEN DOING WASH & GO'S & RAKING FOR YEARS! I I'M JUST FINDING OUT IS A THING OR A COMMONLY PRACTICED METHOD. I HAVE BEEN WEARING WIGS BUT USUALLY IN THE SUMMER MONTHS I'LL OCCASIONALLY DO A WASH & GO. I DON'T MIND MY CURLS, IT'S THE SHRINKAGE THAT DRIVES ME INSANE! 😂 SO GLAD THIS VIDEO POPPED UP IN MY TIMELINE TODAY! I JUST ORDERED A DENMAN ON AMAZON YESTERDAY, ALONG WITH SOME KINKY CURL CLIP-INS FROM LOVRIO, THAT WAY I CAN WEAR MY HAIR OUT WITHOUT OBSESSING OVER SHRINKAGE. I KINDA WISH I'D SEEN YOUR VIDEO 1ST BECAUSE I WOULD'VE WAITED TO PURCHASE MY CLIP-INS UNTIL AFTER I TRIED THIS METHOD. OH WELL AT LEAST I KNOW NOW! BESIDES MY DAUGHTER HAS NATURALLY CURLY HAIR & I CAN HELP KEEP HER SHRINKAGE TO A MINIMUM FOR BACK TO SCHOOL. HER CURLS ARE A LOT LESS TIGHTER THAN MINES BUT MUCH MORE DENSE. I have never used a Denman brush and l am not going to buy any because l have to be very careful with my hair and brushes. Whenever l used brushes in my hair the bristles have to be very soft. Anyway, just from watching this video l have learnt how to separate the clumps whenever l have clumps in my hair after doing a hairstyle! TFS!

Bri With The Big Hair yes, I didn’t say she came up with it, but I mentioned Kelsey because I learned the technique from her, and only used the brush on the lower half of my hair as she did. But she does mention the CZcamsr she learned it from in her video
