Glover is way too tough for his own good. His body refused to shut down. His heart never wavered. Amazing to be able to do that at his age. This man deserves to be in the hall of fame. Hill definitely surprised me. He was ON POINT. The takedown defense, the knees up the middle, the uppercuts, the jabs, the headkicks, the grit, this man has it all. Big congrats to the new champion.

Glover is not a big threat from the bottom and he was significantly compromised to reverse it.
Jamahal was successfully controlling him on top and it was safer to maintain it, than to get up and trade some more.
I feel like he wanted to let Glover finish in a more dignified fashion.

Amazing fight! Glover is so tough to go the distance with that kind of power he was getting hit with. Hill has crazy power and defied a lot of people.
