@@saturnringer267 Since 2015, Colby has fought only one real elite, prime guy: Usman (twice). All the others were older, elderly, or just decent Top 15 who never rose up to the elite level. And, no, Colby is never going to fight Khamzat or Burns.
He'd fight Leon today, if offered, only because Leon's the champ; or fight Usman again, if he's champ again. But he refused to fight Leon, when he's #1 and Leon's #3.
Leon, as former #3, refused to fight some UNRANKED guy and the UFC took him out of the ranking, briefly, "for inactivity," the BS went... when from 2015 to 2021, BOTH Leon and Colby had exactly 11 fight each... Leon, then, had to agree to fight Khamzat 3 times until Khamzat's Covid infection got too bad after the third reschedule, causing him to retired from MMA for a few months...
Burns is really on top of his game, great performance.

@@millysdaspa3185 can't fight if no one signs the contract. UFC needs to start forcing guys to fight or take out of rankings. If they decline 2 contracts to fight someone should be dropped down in the rankings.
If Colby refuses to fight Chimiav or Burns, he should be removed from the rankings. UFC shouldn’t let these top fighters to keep clogging their divisions.

I already knew of Gilbert Burns cause he is a big name I’m the UFC but this was my first time ever watching him fight, and I’ll be honestly I was absolutely blown the fuck away. I have never seen someone with so much technique and skill on the ground, it was almost unreal to see him move the way he did last night. It was like he was an alien or something, I became a fan instantly. Burns, you’re the fucking MAN.
Burns is a tough fight for Colby , heavy hands and world class jiu jitsu and better overall striking, those first two rounds would be hell for Colby.
I’m rooting for Burns 100% but I think the fight will be harder for Burns than Colby. Colby’s pace and pressure are going to be a lot for Burns, especially late into the fight.
@@jeremycrane7418 Colby has pillow hands and he couldn't do anything to Masvidal other than lay and pray on him. Burns has dynamite in his fists and is arguably the most dangerous grappler in the division. If they fight, I honestly think Burns will maul Colby.
