Funny that Baldur’s Gate 3, a very traditional turn based game ends up selling 10+ million copies and winning all 5 major game of the year awards and it released the same year as FF16.
Facts I could be wrong be in the case of 16 they greatly changed the formula its not a bad game at all just not the greatest FF. I still need to play BG3 but at this point idk when with 100 heros and Stellar Blade dropping next week not to mention still need to beat Reload

Remake came at the end of ps4, when everybody had one, and during covid. It is now available on pc too. We cant compare
I think rebirth will have strong legs. Plus, there are many people waiting for the trilogy. We should compare once the trilogy is over
ME too! Its such a good game I know that when people do get a chacne to get on it, its gonna see a new spike in sales. Best FF in years in my personal opinion
Not sure why I keep seeing videos like this. Some of your points are valid, but A LOT less people have PS5's right now. PS4's were cheap and easy to come by when Remake released and most gamers already had one. I also have to ask, do you know Square has recently partnered with XBOX? Do you know who produced FF10? Do you know who produced FF7 Original? Do you know who produced FF7 Remake? Check it out.
You must be looking up or like Final Fantasy? Did you pick up Rebirth? I agree they should have dropped it on Ps4 too which still has a higher user base.
Its really sad because its such a good game... hopefully it at least drops on PC sooner than later.
Frankly they need to do it on all platforms now current economies and all gaming is getting closer and closer to mid to high end luxury hobby I mostly buy games after they are below $40
@@reanschwarzer2187 FACTS it does need to be multi-plat! Sadly I gotta play as soon as possible and watch anime/show day of or I'll get spoiled especially doing CZcams! The amount of times I got spoiled from somebody else thumbnail is well over 10!
This is a sequel game with a heavy emphasis on narrative. Having projected sales being higher than the previous installment is kind of dumb and unintuitive. You have to have cleared the first game to have an interest in the second one, now think of all the people who played remake but didn’t finish or haven’t gotten around to or just downright didn’t like the game. How are these people going to return? Even further, how are you going to get MORE sales than the previous installment? Like, say EVERYONE that played the first bought the second, but then where are the increased sales coming from? Returning players buying dupes? Completely clueless trend-followers just trying the latest thing? Like what was the plan?
