You speaking the Gospel I agree. Since he stepped down the heart of FF left with him... Ever since X (the last time his presence was involved with an FF) the series hasn't been the same. Which is why the new games haven't been as widely loved by fans. Sure they make money like 15 and 16 but those feel like more western games with FF assets. I enjoyed them but they weren't Final Fantasy lol This also why SE continues to remake and report 7 their money cow but the thing about that is thats scary because no new FF since X (non-remake) is hitting the mark. 7 is my fav in the series I loved Rebirth but to keep FF alive it seem they going to have to remake 9, 8 and 10 ...

No you good I appreciate the discourse - the reason I say that is as a black content creator man oh man if I showed you some the stuff ppl say.. And anytime a black character comes into play all hell legit breaks lose... NPC naw why lol I truly understand why my Japanese brothas/sistas would be salty since this is in Japan but that's the motherland of gaming so it's not like there's never Japanese protags. This outrage was not no no take that back there no outrage for Nioh - I get its not AC but still.. And do you remember Finn in Star Wars who legit was the star and in China they shrunk my mans pic to be the smallest on the promo poster. I also do a series called "Who's That Black Person?" on my main channel and every week someone telling me either they not black or how I a black guy am the "R" word because I decided to spotlight black characters in fictional media. IT CRAZY! And Idk if AC is historically accurate... although its not my go to franchise I'm aware of the games and stories and there's a lot of fantasy fluff to the series and story telling. For me this isn't my first rodeo when it comes to these situations and trust and believe it won't be my last..sadly And DEI has become a new pop word like "woke" and "cringe" I could be wrong but I don't think that was the case this time. I could be wrong though wouldn't be the first time. I think Ubisoft felt they'd try a story they felt would be a fresh take. If anything its gotten buzz. I hope it doesn't get the Forspoken treatment thought which is actually a solid game but because its starring a black woman got drug under the rug and wooden floors. But again appreciate the feedback and discussion. Are you picking the game up?

@@GeakNewzNetwork I mean when it came to Nioh no one complained because the game sold as a fantasy that uses Japanese elements, ac uses real hist and etc with a fictional story and characters that don’t change history so there is the expectation that ac shadows would follow that rule. For yasuke when I suggested him to be an npc instead it was under the idea that he would later get his own dlc or spin off game like Ubisoft did with adawale from black flag. That also does raise the question of “why didn’t they do a yasuke game?”. For me personally I feel that his character and gameplay feel out of place, like he’s from a different game entirely. I do think he is an interesting character, but under ac and the rules they placed before about historical accuracy I don’t think he should be a samurai but maybe a ronin or a shinobe cause then he is still in the game and doesn’t change history. As for buying the game, I’m going to wait to see if they have a Christmas sale for it because those prices are crazy. As for the DEI stuff I feel that both the left and right have over used it. For the left it’s when they overdo things and force the “message” down your throat otherwise they call you racist and/or homophobic for not liking it. As for the right it’s when they say something is woke or DEI when things happen to have a for example a gay character or a strong female character.

@@GeakNewzNetwork Sadly, no. Outside of Looney Tunes, I didn't get into those type of cartoons until 2020. But I did watch stuff like Oggy and the Cockroaches and most of the Nicktoons and CN shows.

My favorite game Chrono Trigger since they were both drawn by Akira (or in his style) I want to see a CT Remake down like that or like they did Sercret of Mana remake in what was that 2019. But when I do hop on DQ what do you suggest beside 5,this one and 8? 10 locals good I did a video on it earlier this yr Ithink thats finally coming out to the states. I agree but thats subjective. I belive most games will never top Chrono Trigger, FF7, Persona 5, FFX and Xenogears but again its all who you ask and whats their prefrence
