With Pivot Charts in Microsoft Excel you can add slicers to add interactive functionality to your dashboards. But what about adding even more interactivity? You could give the user the ability to change the relevant KPI in the chart from the slicer. In this video I'll show you how you can use Power Pivot and DAX to create a fully flexible chart for your interactive dashboard. You can use this technique to create disconnected tables in your Dashboards that you can use as slicers. You can connect these to multiple pivot tables and pivot charts as well.

This is a great hack! I actually pivot all my measures into a single Measure via powerquery so I can have just 4 measures (Actual, Budget, Forecast, Prior Year) which helps make VTF, VTB, & Y/Y calculations much easier to manage
