Completely forgot about how Vegeta ABSOLUTELY refused to fuse with Goku until he heard about Trunks and threw his pride to the side to save him. It reminds me that the series was more than just fights, beams, and transformations. It's been forever since I've seen the show, gotta watch it sometime soon again.
The Aura effects in this game have always been my favorite.

I love how this game also added in moves the characters could do even though they never did it in the show yet like Trunks Ssj 2 and Cells spirit bomb along with their moves in the show. It felt like new fight where the characters can use anything in there Arsenal’s possible abilities
Cell Spirit Bomb was also in Budokai Tenkaichi 2

Eh.... if this game had a remastered... then yeah but it looks kinda well... old. Not everything old is good. Like frieza's z voice actor just sucks.... the recent one is just better....
@@WildWeavile This game was remastered but for the xbox360 and ps3, its called Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection. I have the game and I played a bit of it to relive the memorys.

Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 2 was where it was at man. They both allowed flying on the map in-between story missions. And a Roster of Characters.

Holy hell... We used to play only this game in our ps2 like 12-13 years back and it was really amazing finding out all different combos, ultimate attacks and finish moves ..
I always felt that Vegetto and omega shenron were like also broken in the game because you never have to charge your energy like ever. But they have their weaknesses like if you go past the big bars your defense lowers and you take more damage but you have your FULL attack no matter what. And since the big bars charge automatically and far faster you are at max ki all the time. The fusion characters than the potara ones do have max all the time but time its last 30 seconds or so ssj4 gogeta is far less lol. Oh you know in the practice mode if you do the fusion dance the game does the little part of having the same ki like in the story and you can even see it change when in practice mode and hit the select button it gives you max ki and you can see it change there it kinda neat detail they did

The Fact This Video Has That Many Views I’m Convinced These Games Were The Best DBZ Games Created, I Like Raging Blast And The New Games But Somthing About Budokai Hit Different
My personal favorite DBZ game, was loads of fun trying to unlock all characters and transformations
This is how xenoverse should be, only transform in fights leaves a lot more room for more characters and also makes the games more fun
The way Frieza transforms reminds me of pokemon mega evolutions
With Freiza it’s not about the sizes but how stronger he has become

Not having 17 & 18 fuse into either a confused Perfect Cell, or Perfect Cell with their voices is a crime.
This was definitely one of the best games ever made what I used to like about tenkaichi 3 is that every time you transformed you had a brand new set of skills I used to like battle of energy blast to see who can push it

Am I the only one who noticed that Goku's voice always gets deeper between super Saiyan transformations 3-4?🤔
I believe the shows in English dub was the same whereas Japanese dub just had the voice actress for Goku sound more serious.
it's a subtle thing. their voice gets deeper every transformation specifically 2-4
More or less. But Goku will make different fighting and pain noise when you have the fusion skill equipped. Sadly Vegeta don't because he'll have the merged voice while not fused with Goku yet. IDK about Goten and Trunks because I don't have their fusion skills yet.
