    Love your videos. I am just starting this journey. I have fine hair and it’s bob length.. letting it grow out. I did my wash day but it seemed like it took Forever to dry. I don’t have tons of time with work during weekdays, .. how long does your dry routine generally take, or your entire wash day routine? I could do at night but concerned all my efforts will be squashed so to speak.

    I do the exact same refresh w the behairful brush. I practiced many times on wash day 2-3 hours before I showered in case my hair didn’t like this kind of refresh. With another Florida summer starting soon (usually mid-late March) I need to have plans in place so I don’t have to wash more than 2x a week.

    This is pretty genius. I really need to get the behairful brush like ASAP. My hair is dense so the idea of dry brushing usually makes me cringe but that brush looks like it could do the job 🤗 Also ALLIGATOR CLIPS! Lol. They didn’t have them at my local beauty supply store so I might have to look online

    Great refresh!! I'm at the beginning of embracing my curls journey again LOL
    Last year, (due to some health issues), I lost all my hair 😢
    Happily, it has come back with even more curl!! It is finally thick and full again. Although still not shoulder length. My hair tends to get bushy instead of long. Before my illness, my hair was the longest it had ever been in my 58 years and I was in love with it. As you can imagine, it was heart breaking to have lost it 💔
    I have auburn hair. When I was little, I had fore engine red, unruly hair. As I aged it became a beautiful auburn. Now, I have to help it along to keep its color 🤫
    I told you all this to say, thank you! I have been watching so many videos and I relate to yours most!! I am in the process of training my curls. I will be referring to your videos along the way! Thank you! Stay safe ❤ Be Blessed 🙏
    ~Beth~

      I'm 50 and my hair is turning more auburn than golden brown. Also I think it might be coming in more curly, tighter. I'm guessing perimenopause does these things.

  • @imajenn3006
    @imajenn3006 Před 3 lety

    Would love to see you do a Denman the way the site says (it's really obscure). "To enhancurks till end under while wet"
    I section my hair like you do but using the Denman HORIZONTALLY, parallel with the floor. You still curl under halfway down strands. I do that on whole head & shake my head & gentle scruch between sections. I do exactly like you. Since clumps naturally aren't all in same direction like vertical sections do, it lets the could spiral in their natural direction. I do it with all product in, but you could do cream and scrunch gel or mousse..
    I gave up my Denman for a Scrunchit brush. I have no idea why there are not blowing up. It's like Denman & Behairful &curler had a baby with a finger coiling tail. You know you you wrap your Denman around the handle? Well this handle is meant to do that! You can also use it just like the Denman too, but the boar hair (like Behairful) smooths out friz. This 'new' finger coils that are blowing up til tok? The handle is made for those in a weensy amount if the time. (I have no affiliation with Scrunchit).

  • @mae1513
    @mae1513 Před 3 lety +2

    Definitely interested in the spray except I think my hair seems to get sensitive to protein easily. Is this a harsher protein that those sensitive to protein overload should avoid or is that something I could only figure out by trying?

    • @TheFitCurls
      @TheFitCurls  Před 3 lety

      Oat protein (and hydrolyzed plant proteins in general) is a larger protein molecule so if you’re really sensitive it may be one to avoid. The only thing I can say is that the product is very balanced with moisture! It does soften the hair very well so I don’t think it would throw anyone into protein overload.

    I really wanted to try Cake products, & almost bought them online at Ulta so many different times, but was scared I wouldn't like the smell. The online reviews either loved or hated it. Then one day I saw them at Walgreens, and took a whiff....🤢 turns out I'm in the camp that thinks it has a lemon pledge smell. Some smell like a lemon cake. Does the smell linger?

    • @TheFitCurls

    • @whatwendylikes

      Probably so, if you like that brush for your hair. I bought the behairful brush and I am not impressed at all. I have tried every brush ever I'm pretty sure and my absolute favorite is Tangle Teezer. Just go with what works for you!

    • @TheFitCurls
      @TheFitCurls  Před 3 lety +1

      Here’s the thing - the Wet Brush is meant to be used on wet hair. So I honestly have no idea how it would work to dry detangle. You can try it! Just be very verrrrry gentle as you work from your ends to your roots.

    • @ashleybuckmaster6630

  • @pameladearing2969

    Apparently some people have received their order of a Behairful brush-but my personal experience with them was dreadful. I placed an order on November 13, 2020 and never received the brush into January. I did email and was told that if I could wait a little longer, they would credit 20% to my purchase card. I waited-no credit and no brush. So then I told them to just cancel my order and issue me a refund. Although they sent screenshots of a refund, I did not get one. Repeated attempts were of no use. I eventually had to dispute the charge with my bank, which is ongoing. Just my own awful experience....

    • @TheFitCurls
      @TheFitCurls  Před 3 lety

      If your hair is super damaged, stick with a less invasive refresh! I have a couple other refresh technique videos that are lighter and don’t involve the riskier dry detangling!
