Do it. I dreamt of going when I was younger but kept holding off for years because of work or no money or too many bills. One day I decided to just go and I did. I never regretted it. So I'm planning my third trip there but bringing my sisters so they can experience what a truly beautiful country Italy is. Go for it!

@@vincenzosplate of course, as a Campanian, my favourite saying has to be in Neapolitan. My grandma used this expression so I don't know if it is her way to say it or if everyone in Campania just does. She used to say "A santu Bellill è o nom suoj" literally meaning "Her/his nameday is on Saint Beautiful day" and metaphorically "He/she is so beautiful that his/her name is Beautiful". Of course saint Beautiful doesn't exist. She used it to compliment me and other grandkids, but also as a mockery when I told her I liked a boy and she wanted to tell me I was a little obsessed and he wasn't that handsome (she didn't like him and she was proven right ahaha).
Lived in a village just outside Naples for 6 years-They fry EVERYTHING in Naples and EVERYTHING is good there... We ate like kings and queens and learned a lot about cooking.

I get a lot of hate from "cooking experts" but I will always, always say that Italians have best couisine in the worlds. Excellent ingridients made the best way.
Italian food lacks boom in flavor but is always extremely clean and just right when you are hungry.
But I would argue when it comes to flavor Japanese, French, Greek and Chinese food is the best.
Depends on the mood honestly.

It is the best coffee, my grandmother was the bread maker in our little area, my grandfather was a farmer and had the best fruits and vegetables

in Italy you can find a lot of products with that shape, even pasta 🤭
Please do not promote some of these places. Naples was filthy, Spaccanapoli was absolutely horrendous and the food was awful. I could not believe how smelly and dirty this place was not to mention the rudeness of the people.
