- It's time for Robert Edwin House to take over. Fallout New Vegas meets Hearts of Iron! Old World Blues is a full conversion mod that brings the world of Fallout to Hearts of Iron. This is my first go at it. Let me know if you want more mod content.

Regarding the too many nations, you can select to have some areas unified under a faction of your choice in the game rules at the start

Now if only I had an understandable roadmap on forming all the prewar states(California and Texas are self explanatory, but idk how to form Arizona for example).
For certain states, if you want to form Oklahoma, play as the Last Patrol.

Eureka can turn into mini-Enclave by following the Granite Company route
But it's REALLY bugged. Lots of times the option to form the Enclave just doesn't appear
@@anon8803 Really? I've never had a problem with it. You have to win the war for the Navarro Territories, but that's about it.

S'Lanter are FEV mutated, intelligent/sentient racoons, a cut content from Fallout 1. They were kinda similar to the intelligent deathclaws of Fallout 2.
So there is a timeline where S'Lanters are as staple to the franchise as bottlecaps or radscorpions.
And that screaming is Tlaloc's demise. It marks a wild time for Mexican nations as the powerful AI that was keeping the region in check shuts down and fractures into three "children" that will engulf the region into a war.
Love the OWB content. If you want to give it another spin, Enclave remnants are always a fun option. Closest options for that would be MacArthur AFB up north, or the Granite Company path over in Eureka. There's also an Enclave Reborn submod that I heavily recommend, adds Enclave in west of New Reno. Submod is a bit overpowered, though, but fun.
Enclave Reborn isn't really getting any updates, I'd recommend Enclave + along with it to really flesh out the Purist tree and help with all the graphical errors.
@@alreadyblack3341 I wouldn't. Enclave+ gives too much free stuff at the beginning, making the initial fights a doddle.
@@BrianFlyingPenguin Fair enough, but to that I'd say getting Para drop with PA at the begging made every fight a doddle. Just make some infantry to hold the line, and paradrop onto victory points. Ofc it causes a split in production, but the fact you can just decapitate nearly any small nation at the start is already OP in my opinion.
@@alreadyblack3341 Did you try that in the last update? Because I did, and the power armour I dropped on Vault City died. Besides, expanding increases the cost of hiding from the NCR.
@@BrianFlyingPenguin unfortunately, last time I checked Enclave reborn does not work, crashes on launch due to being so outdated that the provinces the Enclave is supposed to spawn on aren't the same anymore, so it either doesn't load at all or crashes before loading.
Enclave + may be way easier, but it's honestly one of the few if not only way to play Enclave Reborn nowadays.

Enclave Remnants are not in the Base Game I think but a submod adds them.
they used to be an Easter egg in New Reno but they were removed sometime ago. Enclave Reborn is the submod that adds them as an op faction

Enclave Reborn submod makes them an independent nation in Sierra Army Depot. As for base OWB, Eureka under the Granite Company path and Macarthur are both Enclave.

The fun thing about Vegas is it's relatively easy to get to 0% required consumer goods if you have both the white gloves and the omerta's. After a certain point the snowball is unstoppable. Oh, and Puppets are actually good, the size and strength of your puppets give your nation a boost and for new vegas you benefit again by using the puppets manpower.

When it comes to resistance in OWB, Enforcers with Dog support companies are both very effective at being garrison units and are good heavy infantry units with great defense and armor stats but aren't treated as special units for the cap.
Really? I've been using Militia units for garrisons this whole time.

@@AsymmetricalCrimes Militia units are good if you don't have the industry to support a line of relatively more expensive infantry armor. However, Enforcers do have armor, and much like in base hoi4, a light tank is a very cheap and effective suppression unit because the 'resistance' cannot get through the armor.
You will use less infantry equipment and armor using enforcers as your resistance suppression unit, and atop that, enforcers make as a good defensive unit to hold positions or be part of the push.
I would really look forward to seeing more of this mod from you! It's a really fun watch!

Love seeing you play OWB. One of my favorites is the Rio Grande Republic. Afaik their lore is made up by the mod mostly but it is still one of the most fun and versatile nations around. And the Mirelurks are also pretty fun especially with their lovecraft-cthulhu-mission (at least I believe it was them, it's been a while)

Watching Taureor throw many hundreds of political power into increasing the smallest modifiers when he could use it to core like 20 states getting more resources and massively increasing his very limited manpower is pain.
Also not even once considering reducing the occupation law for territory that already has high compliance and so doesn't need the highest law occupation anymore.
Okay he finally figured out efficient garrisons.

PLEASE play as much old world blues mod as you could possibly desire. It's my favorite mod and I've seen it do super well making consistent appearances on other paradox oriented channels. So amazing to get to see you get more into the roleplay aspects this mod has to offer!

Trade node is always in a capital, but you see trade node information also in adjacent territories of the main tradenode (new vegas)
MacArthur and Eureka have enclave path. Make sure as Eureka to send voluteers to free people, else you cannot expand.

I like modded versions. It is interesting and fun to try out. It also shows people what mods are around and gives an impression about the mod. Playing 2 or 3 major nations and 2 minors who all offer different gameplay in the same mod might be a good idea to showcase it. I personally would love to see some 40k mod at one day. I personally have tried the unification wars beta, however it currently seems to not be compatible with the latest game version. Might be worth a look once it is updated.

Please more of it! At this point this is so much more interesting than the billionth playthrough of vanilla or Kaiserreich. For RP reasons I'd love to see an utopia run for the NCR. Democracy, equality, wealth, great infrastructure, safety all across the land, and power for everyone. The rebirth of the pre war world basically.
A little addition: it would be really nice if you'd keep the main even popups at least a second longer in the cuts so the viewers who want to see it can pause the video and read through them.

For context about the faction Masters new army: from the looks of it those are super mutants. If you follow the lore before fallout 76, the super mutants were created by “the master” this horrible abomination of a man who had spread his flesh and whole body around a computer and had absorbed the beings of many. He was going to make mutants the master race but was defeated by the Vault dweller.
Oh I know that, I've played all the Fallout games except 76 multiple times :)

I would like to see you play as a enclave with enclave+ mod. It should be enjoyable.
My favorite nation to play as in this mod is WARDEN. You have to select the Hangdogs then go down the Warden path, which does have a civil war and Lanius is going to eventually attack you, so its got a ticking clock of sorts that makes it very interesting to me. You also get a formable nation of Colorado. I believe that they have nerfed it since the last time I played though.
Last time I tried to get WARDEN that civil war was brutal to win due to being outnumbered by a lot

You should try the owb submod the enclave reborn mod. It is hand down the best submod in the owb world with a lot of action in it. It even has end game challenges and events!

I feel you also focused a bit too much on the in-game aspects in a mod that also promotes roleplay. The king went to retrieve the chip for me for example, and I had zero qualms with him betraying me as house over benny.

Very hard - and Lost Hills according to the roadmap is done only a few years from now in 7.0
